Chapter 125 - Wedding Date Care of Li Wen

Now that the topic about how babies are made was out of the way, The Lus and the Xias enjoyed dessert as they were served with ice cream and some cakes. Andrea however, wanted to eat some cheese. Last night, during her brother-in-law's birthday celebration, only brie, cheddar, and some parmesan cheese were prepared. For some reason, she was craving for blue cheese. Thus, she requested from the hotel a plate with crackers to go with it.

She was told that they were out of stock, but she insisted on having one. Knowing the influence of the Xias, the hotel manager ordered blue cheese to be delivered and assured Andrea that she will have it in the next thirty minutes.

"Now…" Li Wen wiped her mouth with a table napkin before speaking, "about having a baby, the two of you are rather bold announcing these plans when you aren't even married yet."

"Well… that is part of the reason we are here. We wanted to let you know of our plans to get married," Lu Fang said this as he stretched out his hand to hold Andrea's. "In fact, we are just waiting for your confirmation and had planned for the ceremony to happen by the end of next month."

"Next month?" Li Wen's voice suddenly elevated and her hand slammed against the table, "What do you mean by next month? Are you insulting me and my sister, Mr. Lu?"

Lu Jie instantly thought, 'Here comes the fiery sister once again.' He too, thought the couple's relationship sped up rather fast. However, he could not deny the inconceivable chemistry between the two.

Andrea's eyes grew wide, surprised with her sister's reaction and the same could be said with Lu Fang's parents.

The man became worried and told himself, 'I knew it. Maybe it was too early to plan the wedding.'

Christina wanted to help and explain the hurried decision but Li Wen was quicker to express her point of view, "Lu Fang, both of you are living together. You are even planning to have a child already…" She breathed heavily and drank a glass of water before adding to her sentiments, "You should get married as soon as possible! Like tomorrow!"

"!!!"

Christina's heart raced that she had a hand on her chest. She thought Li Wen disapproved of having a rushed marriage, but as it turns out, she wanted the wedding to happen the next day!

Except for Xia Ting and the children, everyone else was in shock.

Li Wen searched into the eyes of the Lu Family analyzing their reaction and asked, "Is there a problem with my proposal?"

"No! Absolutely not!" Replied Lu Fang, "In fact, it was up to me, I would have wed Andrea since the day we got together!" The man said every word with confidence. He loved Andrea and for him, there was no point of going through a lengthy process to make her his wife when every single cell on his body craved for her.

"It's just that I wanted a well-prepared ceremony. Plus, we wished for all important friends and family to be there. Deciding on it urgently would mean, we won't be able to share the moment with all our loved ones," the man added.

Lu Jie backed up Lu Fang saying, "I would really want for them to have a proper ceremony. I never had the pleasure with Lu Wei and Christina. They both got married without a ceremony… I wish to have this experience with my one and only grandson at least."

"Wen, we wanted Dad... my foster father to be with us on that day as well. Also, with one month as a leeway, I have time to talk to Yeong," Andrea tried to reason with her sister.

"You don't have to worry about Yeong, Andy. You may fear your brother but he fears me. In fact, let me call him right now for you –"

"Li Wen!" Andrea tried her best to oppose. If anything, she was scared of what her brother might do to Lu Fang.

The phone was on speaker as they spoke. Li Wen made sure everyone could hear their conversation.

Li Wen: "Yeong, are you aware that our little sister is in a relationship?"

Yeong: "Very much."

Li Wen: "Are you aware that they are living together?"

Yeong: "Yes."

Li Wen: "Don't you think her boyfriend, Lu Fang should take responsibility?"

Before she could get another answer, she turned off the speaker saying to everyone, "Let's not hear him shout."

Andrea gulped hearing her sister hinting Yeong of what goes beyond "living together". 'S**t! I can't believe she just betrayed me!'

Yeong: "I don't like where you are getting at."

Li Wen: "Andy might fall pregnant at any time! Thus, I want them to get married as soon as possible… Like tomorrow!"

Yeong: "F**k your ideas Li Wen!"

Li Wen: "What did you say? Oh, you agree with me?"

Yeong: "Hell, no! That man has to undergo my training before he can get involved with my family!"

Li Wen: "I absolutely agree with you and Lu Fang will visit you in Korea soon for your one-on-one training! What did you say? You will hang him to death if he doesn't marry Andy!"

Yeong: "What the f**k are you saying Li Wen! No! I do not agree to them getting married, not until that man passes my test!"

Li Wen: "Yeong, please control your anger… Don't worry. I'll make sure they are wed as soon as possible."

Yeong: "Li We –"

She immediately hung up pretending to gasp for air after a heavy conversation with their brother, Anton Yeong. They could hear shouting but since the speaker was switched off, they could not decipher exactly their true exchange.

Li Wen then turned to Andrea who's eyes were as cold as ice, looking at her in disbelief. She merely dismissed her piercing stare and said. "Well, at least we know now that Yeong agrees with me."

Slowly, she stood up saying, "I'm just so happy. Rarely does Yeong agrees with me. Excuse for a minute, let me wipe away my tear."

'More like pretend tears.'

Li Wen quickly stepped outside and worked on her mobile device making sure to block Anton Yeong's calls to herself, Andrea and her husband.

Just before heading back, she sent Yeong a text message, "See what I can do? Don't ever go against me, your older sister. I will hack into your company and bring it down in minutes if I have to… The guy is really sweet, Yeong. Give him a chance. No need for you to reply!"

"No, wait… You can't reply! Hahaha!"
