Chapter 126 - Wedding Date care of The Zygote

It flustered Anton Yeong being blocked by Li Wen. He did not like the idea of getting Andrea married one bit. Since he could not get through to both sisters, he tried to reach out to Kim Ha-joon, but was later told that he did not follow them to Guangzhou.

"Stupid Han-joon! Do you know what complete surveillance is?"

"Yeong, I'm telling you. I might have a lead on Project Zero!"

He was silent for a moment hearing the familiar words. "What did you say?"

"Yeong, I've seen two groups following Andrea around. One came after Alfred Davies' visit. They must have been trying to find her through the Davieses."

"How sure are you it is related to Project Zero?"

"I'm not yet certain of that, but they way they were being careful suggested they were very skilled men. Therefore, I did not follow her. Instead, I sought after one of their men. The same group did not fly to Guangzhou. I think they are waiting for her return."

Worry had replaced Yeong's annoyance. The possibility of the same organization that killed their parents was after his sister. He always knew they would come after them and Andrea was the easiest target. For one, they may not know of Li Wen's existence and even if they did, she would see them coming from miles away. As for him, He was too powerful for them to dare come after. He concluded it was not the right time to pick a fight with his siblings.

Instantly, he understood, Andrea needed to be protected. If not him, trusted men must be by her side. Last, he needed to learn all about this Lu Fang and teach him how to protect his sister.

After his conversation with Han-joon, he called for his sister's apprentice. "Hanxi, have you rested well enough? We need to go to China."

Back in Guangzhou.

While Li Wen was away, the rest of her family members were backing up her opinion.

Xia Ting pointed out to the Lus, "She is merely concerned for Andrea. I hope everyone understands," he saw through the eyes of Lu Wei and Christina hoping that they would sympathize, "I'm sure if your child turned out to be a woman and is already living together with a man, you would insist on the same thing."

"Brother Ting, Lu Fang and I want to get married. It's just that, we haven't even bought the rings or booked the venue? We haven't formally announced the wedding?" Andrea tried to explain their side but then the children started to contribute.

"Uncle, don't you want to be a family with us sooner?" Asked Mei-Mei.

Lu Fang looked at the little girl seriously. He understood where Li Wen was coming from. He certainly did not want others to look down on Andrea if she got pregnant while unmarried.

"We really like you, Uncle!" Xia Mei added.

The moment he heard this, his lips curved into a smile.

"I think you are better than General Lei, Uncle," said Xia Jianyu. "Never give him a chance!"

"Hmmmm… NEVER!" Said the man. The words were hitting him in the right spot that Andrea's mouth fell open. She could not believe her sister had involved the kids in the scheme.

"Guys! I can't believe you!"

While being amused at the conversation, Christina and Lu Wei were in deep thought. They too had a rushed marriage as they were running away from the Davies at that time. They tied the knot the moment they landed in China. They began to see how nothing was wrong with getting married right away. They were just concerned about Lu Jie's request.

While they were pondering, Li Wen came back smiling as if having already won the battle. As she sat down, she was at it again and said, "Are we still having second thoughts? The Lus and Xias can do practically anything."

"If it's the venue, we can close this entire hotel! If it's about inviting family and friends, we will lend our private plane, and your father, Alfred would fly out to come as soon as possible. I'm sure of that."

Andrea looked back at the man beside her, worried that her sister may have agitated him, but instead, he was nodding his head. Christina and Lu Wei also started to nod in agreement saying, "Yes, I guess that could work."

"Lu Fang, unless you have any doubts about your feelings towards my sister, now is the time to say it," warned Li Wen.

"Sister, I assure you. I love Andy, more than I love myself. I would never change my mind."

Lu Jie, on the other hand, was feeling distressed. His friends were old and could not possibly fly out so easily to attend a wedding. Thus he thought of another way, "How about this... let's continue the plan for the wedding... My suggestion is to keep the original date. Let's start by inviting friends and family."

The old man was making hand gestures suggesting for everyone to wait until he finished his piece. "If Andrea becomes pregnant, we can have them register their marriage immediately… or the next day! Still, we can keep the ceremony as planned at the end of next month!"

The Lus agreed. Even Xia Ting thought it was acceptable.

"Thank you, Grandpa. That is a good suggestion," said Lu Fang and turned to Li Wen, "What do you think, Sister-in-law?"

Andrea was hugging the man from his side while pleading to her sister, "Please Wen. I think the solution is good… Besides, you are scaring me all of a sudden! Asking me to wear a gown and walk down the aisle, I still need to lose weight!" She pouted before adding, "I gained a few pounds since I lived with Lu Fang."

It wasn't exactly what Li Wen wanted, but it was also a fair deal. There was no reason for her to say no. It would be irrational if she did. So she let out a sigh, suggesting her surrender and said, "FINE."

They could now see smiles on everyone's faces. Finally, they had come to a compromise and as this was happening, one of the hotel staff came in with Andrea's favorite blue cheese. She thought, 'My desert came on time perfectly!'

However, the moment the platter of cheese was placed in front of her, she began to feel awful. The smell absolutely disgusted her! She felt her stomach acid rising up to her throat. Her eyes roamed the private room and saw an artificial plant two meters away. Therefore, she went for it.

Andrea threw up in a huge ceramic pot!

"Babe? Are you okay?" The startled man came rushing towards her and comforted her.

Christina's eyes grew wide and her mouth fell open.

"Oh, boy…" said Lu Jie.

"Mommy, what's wrong with Aunt?" Mei-Mei asked.

Li Wen cleared her throat and said, "Nothing is wrong with your Aunt, honey… It' the Zygote."

They then decided on their official wedding date.
