Chapter 180 - I don't like school

"Hi!" A little boy around the age of six, said to Belle.

Belle's eyes snapped towards him and then looked away. She had started schooling and wasn't happy.

She has lived for 12 years and was now forced to study with kids that were supposed to be like underlings to her.

She didn't like this idea of studying but Leo was very strict with it. He didn't give her the chance to say no.

And here she was, enduring the annoyance from the students. They all wanted to be her friend.

Clara had also warned her not to use her power on anyone.

If not, she would have compelled them.

She rested her head on the desk and let out an a.d.u.l.t sigh.

"Huh… . Belle?" The boy called again and her eyes lazily turned to look at him.

"Whaaaat?" She said in an annoyed tone.

"Aren't you going for break?" He asked.

"No, I'm not." Her reply was curt.

"Ha! You mind sharing my one? My mom made a lot and I can't finish it." He proposed, grabbing his food flask tightly and looking very nervous.

"Tell your mom to make the perfect amount that would size your stomach tomorrow. Throw away the remains for today." She replied and turned away again.

The boy walked away, looking disappointed.

Immediately he got to his seat, a group of girls and boys walked up to him. "See? She's so proud." One of them said.

"I gave her candy last week and she rolled her eyes at me."

"She raised her hand to make me shut my mouth when I tried to greet her, yesterday."

"I told her my parents are rich and pretty like her own and she asked what was her business with it?"

They all recounted their experience from trying to befriend her.

The little boy seemed to feel better after knowing that it wasn't because he was slightly chubby and Belle hated him.

"She said I should tell my mommy to prepare the food that would be the perfect amount to satiate my hunger, so that I won't bother sharing next time….." He also said his part.

They all turned to look at her and she happened to be looking at the direction.

Her expression was void, as if they didn't exist.

'I don't like school!' She screamed in her head.

....

Ella was finally tired of avoiding Reuben, since the guy seemed like the type that never gives up.

She was trying to give herself enough time to think about her life, but Reuben kept disturbing her peace.

The dude was still oblivious to the fact that he was tricked.

He even texted her, asking if her family were still trying to force her to not see him, and many annoying messages.

He seemed to think Ella loves him and her parents were forcing her to love another guy.

Just as Leo said, he did gave the dude her address and he has visited a number of times, but she never let him in.

She was finally tired and wanted a confrontation. She stared at him through the CCTV from her laptop and massaged her temple.

She finally asked his security to let him in.

Reuben felt so happy. He didn't bring his car, so he walked and walked, wondering how wealthy Ella's parents were, to possess such a big residence.

He saw lots of workers and security guards, making him feel like he was paying a visit to the white house.

Getting inside the main house with the aid of a guard, he saw Ella sitting down. A big frown marred her expression, while she had her leg crossed.

"Inform everyone to evacuate this premises." Ella said to the guard that brought Reuben in.

She didn't want any maid or whoever might be around to step in or eavesdrop on her conversation.

"Yes ma'am." the guard replied and left.

Rueben was so happy to see her again and expected the same, but that wasn't happening.

The woman in front of him took her seat and gestured to him to do the same, with her hand.

Then silence enveloped the room.

After a few minutes of silence, Ella finally took a deep breath and looked at the man who hadn't taken his eyes off her since he stepped in.

Reuben was surprised by the changes in Ella. Her gaze was so sharp, not the shy woman who was acting cute and all then

She was emitting an aura of a leader, not someone that can be easily bullied like she portrayed herself to be, then.

"What the hell do you want from me?" Ella asked.

She looked straight into his eyes.

The dude was just as handsome as the first time they met, maybe more handsome.

"I want you to take responsibility for my heart now beats for you." Reuben said, shamelessly.

Ella glared at him. "So you don't only know how to be a nuisance. You are silly and shameless as well." She said, looking annoyed, but the man in front of her doesn't seem to care.

"Yes." Reuben replied. "I'm silly and annoying." He added.

Ella stared at him in awe. "What are you? Don't tell me you haven't noticed that what we had was just a nice time and all I said were lies." She said with her voice a little calm that before, because the sincerity in Reuben's eyes was so disturbing.

"I'm just finding out now." He replied, not believing his ears that everything was a lie.

"President Raymond isn't your brother right?" Reuben asked.

"He is my friend and also, I'm older than him and you of course, so please respect yourself and stop disturbing my life." Ella said.

She couldn't wait to get rid of him from her life. He was too persistent and it's getting on her nerves.

"You are a good actress." Reuben complimented her with a scoff.

"Yes, I am. I have used those kinds of tricks to sleep with different men in the past and I will admit that you are the youngest and dumbest of them all." Ella said.

She was expecting him to look disgusted, but his expression didn't change.
