Chapter 151: Rod of Goblins II

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
"This is the Rod of Goblins!!" Moris said with an excited face.

No, he even seemed desperate for this Rod of Goblins that he even said that the king MUST have it!

And that caused Dawn to think.

---Rod of Goblins? It is so special that Moris, a member of the Five Great Clans, would go crazy to have it?

The only thing that surprised Dawn was how Moris acted the moment he saw the stick.

After all, Moris was from an esteemed village! He is from the Five Great Clans!

The Five Great Clans are something that could be considered the main force of the goblins!

And the fact that Moris, who is considered a main force of the goblins, was going crazy for a stick means something!

It means that the stick was greater than what Dawn initially thought.

And that was why he spoke as he looked at Moris.

"What is the Rod of Goblins?"

That was the only thing Dawn could ask right now. After all, Dawn didn't know anything about it at all.

That was why he had to know it first before deciding its value. After all, while it may be something for a member of the Five Great Clans, it may also be nothing for Dawn.

Just because something is important for a goblin doesn't mean that it would be the same for another goblin.

And Moris knew that as well, which is why he spoke with a face full of desperation.

"The Rod of Goblins is something that is considered important in the Five Great Clans!"

"It has been mentioned to us that the Rod of Goblins is something that the King of Goblins must have in his arsenal!"

"And the King of Goblins is you, Your Highness!"

"You must have it at all costs!"

And when Dawn heard that, the gears in his head...stopped. After all, Moris basically just said that the Rod of Goblins was important to him.

However, Moris hasn't said anything about its use or features or something like that.

That was why Dawn didn't know what to think about it, but well.

He could just ask again, and that was why he spoke once more.

"What does the Rod of Goblins have that it is a must for me to have it?"

And when Moris heard that, his eyes widened instantly. After all, the Rod of Goblins was just mentioned to them by their respective Clan Leaders.

It was noted that it was something that the Five Great Clans must recover for the king, but Moris didn't know its uses.

After all, the Clan Leaders of the Five Great Clans were the ones who knew about this.

And that was why Moris could only look down in disappointment as he murmured.

"I...I don't know, Your Highness..." Moris said.

And as soon as he said that, Dawn thought once more.

---He doesn't know about it, yet he said that it is something that I must have...

Interesting. Dawn thought as he turned his head towards another goblin.

And it was the little goblin. After all, if there would be someone who knew about the Rod of Goblins, it would be the one who introduced it.

"What do you know about the Rod of Goblins?" Dawn said as he looked down at the little goblin.

However, it seems like even the little goblin didn't know about the Rod of Goblins as he shook his head.

"I don't know anything about the Rod of Goblins. However, it is a known fact to the goblin tribes that this stick is a treasure."

"After all, it is forbidden for anyone to pick it up, even the tribal chief."

The little goblin said as he remembered the laws of the goblin tribes.

Of course, those laws were nothing now as the goblin tribes were no longer existing as the mysterious enemies wiped it out.

"Hmm." Dawn hummed as he looked at the Rod of Goblins.

The Rod of Goblins was...well, just a really old stick that looked like it was just buried by accident.

And it was something that Dawn wouldn't like to have in his arsenal. However, because of what Moris and the little goblin just said, Dawn gave it a chance.

That was why he bent his knees as he reached out with his hands to get the Rod of Goblins.

It didn't take long for Dawn to grab the Rod of Goblins, and he stood up normally while carrying it.

"Hmm...It doesn't feel any special at all." Dawn said as he looked at the Rod of Goblins with his black eyes.

The Rod of Goblins was praised by two parties; Moris, from the Five Great Clans, and the little goblin, who was from the goblin tribes.

However, no matter how much Dawn looked at it, the Rod of Goblins was just...really normal.

"Keep it safe." Dawn said as he threw the Rod of Goblins at Moris.

Of course, Moris caught it without making it touch the ground! After all, the Rod of Goblins is just too precious to be thrown away like that.

Of course, Moris didn't plan to nitpick about that part as he stood up once more.

"Your Highness, there will come a time when the Rod of Goblins would be useful to you."

"Please keep it in your mind."

Moris said as he knew that the Rod of Goblins was for the king. However, Moris didn't have any proofs to back up his word, and Dawn knew that.

That was why Dawn just looked at him for a while before turning his head towards the little goblin.

Since the treasure was now out of the way and is at Dawn's hands, it was now time for the other part of the deal.

It was now time for the secret monster pot that the little goblin talked about.

"So, where is the secret monster pot you were talking about?"

"I am strong and I could tell anything with just my senses, but I don't feel any monsters near here."

"Did you lie about that part?"

Dawn said as he looked at the little goblin. Although his words were harsh, he wasn't mad at all.

After all, although Dawn wasn't sure about it, he still got the Rod of Goblins.

Just the fact that he was able to get something out of this journey was enough for Dawn.

That was why Dawn was fine even if there were no secret monster pot or something like that.

Well, Dawn didn't really believe in that secret monster pot as he couldn't feel any monsters at all.

However, it seems that was not the truth as the little goblin kept speaking.

"The secret monster pot that I talked to you about is not here."

"It is located in a secret place, and that is why it is called the secret monster pot."

"It is the goblin tribes' emergency food source, and it is also the place where the goblin tribes' train the young goblins."

"That was also the place where I was supposed to receive blessings for the first time."

The little goblin said, but he soon shook his head. After all, this was not the time to remember the past.

This was also not the time to be sad about something like that. This was a time for him to be strong, and this was a time for him to stay focused.

After all, Dawn could still kill this little goblin any time he wanted.

The little goblin had to prove his worth to Dawn, and the little goblin knew that as he spoke while bowing his head.

"I will guide you to the secret monster pot." The little goblin said as he turned all...polite with Dawn.

Well, that was to be expected as Dawn was the one with power here.

Of course, Dawn didn't care about that at all as he just spoke.

"Good. Make it fast, I don't have much time." Dawn said as he looked down at the little goblin.

The little goblin then turned around as he started walking to guide the other goblins to the place where the secret monster pot was located.

Of course, the other goblins, including Dawn and Moris, started to follow after the goblin.

They had their guards up as they didn't want to be ambushed by some other monsters.

Of course, even the little goblin had his guard up, but the journey that they walked was smooth.

They didn't stop at all, but they walked quite the distance.

Of course, it's not like walking quite the distance would make the goblins tired or something like that.

That was why when the goblins stopped, all of them were fine.

And where the goblins stopped was...also a place inside the forest.

However, there weren't any monsters at all. At least, Dawn couldn't feel anything near here.

It was then that the little goblin spoke as he bent his knees while pointing to the ground.

"This...the secret monster pot is down here."
