Chapter 152: Secret Monster Pot

Name:Human King Author:Zaysay
When the goblins were able to reach their destination, they immediately got to work.

Of course, since the secret monster pot that the little goblin was talking about was located underground, the work they did was to dig up the land.

Every normal goblin that was with them, to be exact 50, was digging the ground up as they clawed their way down.

Of course, as they were goblins, they were somehow fine with doing something like this.

Even though they didn't have any experience in digging up the ground, the little goblin found the other normal goblins' work to be satisfactory.

Of course, even Dawn found their work to be good as he could see the land pile up beside them.

"Hmmm..." Dawn hummed as he watched the goblins work.

There was one thing that Dawn didn't get in this situation, and that was the secret monster pot's location.

He didn't understand why the secret monster pot had to be underground.

What's more, if they had to dig up every time the goblins entered it, it seems so much of a hassle just to keep it.

That was why Dawn was looking at the little goblin, but the little goblin was focused on his work as he just dug up the ground.

And because the little goblin was busy, Dawn didn't have anyone he could ask about this.

That was why he just thought for himself.

---Is it because it is secret?

The fact that the little goblin mentioned this particular monster pot to be a secret means that it is a secret.

And since it is a secret, not many goblins from the goblin tribes would use it for their own.

That was why it would make sense if it were underground, and it didn't have any proper pathways.

After all, it was not used often. It would be weird if this place would have that much feature to it even though the goblin tribes weren't using it that often.

It was then that a goblin walked up to Dawn as he bowed his head.

It was Didi, and he spoke.

"King, the goblins are done with their job. We can enter the underground now."

Of course, Dawn could see that clearly as he looked at the goblins who were working.

Although they hadn't stopped, it was clear that they have already done their job.

What's more, Dawn could see the little goblin waving his hand at them.

And that was something that could be considered a signal for clear.

"Good. Enter it one by one, and secure the path." Dawn said as he looked at Didi.

And when Dawn said that, Didi quickly went to work.

Of course, he did that by ordering around the goblins who were just standing around.

And it wouldn't be long till all of the goblins entered the underground leading to the secret monster pot.

****

The goblins were able to enter the underground without any problems.

Of course, they already secured the place and it was safe for the others to walk on.

That was why Dawn was already here. And if Dawn was here, that would mean every single goblin was here.

It was weird that they didn't leave a goblin outside to keep watch of the entrance, but well.

Dawn didn't care about that. Besides, even if there were emergencies, Dawn could just destroy a part of the earth to escape.

They didn't have to go back to the entrance just to get out of here.

Dawn wasn't that stupid.

It was then that Dawn spoke as he looked at the little goblin.

"So, what is this place?"

As the goblins had to dig up the earth, it was clear that action was to make a pathway.

However, when the goblins entered this place, there was...a path to walk on.

It was weird as the goblins didn't have to dig that up, but that was probably because it was set up before by the goblin tribes.

Of course, that's what Dawn thought.

"This is the secret monster pot. We just have to walk for a bit and you would be able to see the monsters that we have been secretly raising."

And when the little goblin spoke those words, Dawn spoke again.

After all, there was something Dawn didn't understand in those words of the little goblin.

"Raising? You guys were raising monsters? Why were you doing that?"

Dawn didn't understand why the goblins were raising monsters. After all, they didn't have to do that for a living.

If they had to do it to get stronger, Dawn would understand it. After all, Dawn was about to use the monster pot to get stronger himself.

However, the fact that the little goblin used the word 'raising' means that it was meant for something else.

And that was weird.

It was then that the little goblin spoke once more as he led the group of goblins around.

"This place is for emergency purposes. That's why it is a secret. The only one who is allowed here is me and the tribal chief."

"And what we do here is we raise monsters who could fight for us in the future."

"There are quite a lot of strong monsters in here, but..."

"We got wiped out before we could even use them."

The little goblin said as he squeezed his fists. Well, his tribe was just wiped out from the face of the earth.

It was only reasonable that he would get angry over something like that.

However, Dawn would not let this goblin rest just because of that.

After all, Dawn had to know something.

"You guys can control monsters? Hmm...interesting." Dawn said as his fangs showed a little bit.

The fact that the tribal chief was planning to use the monsters as a fighting force means that he could use them.

Although Dawn had thought of using monsters, too, he wasn't that invested in it.

However, if this little goblin could do it for him, then it wouldn't be a problem.

After all, Dawn would have some extra fighting forces, and what's more, Dawn could even sacrifice them for all he wants.

However, it seems that reality was indeed disappointing as the little goblin spoke once more.

"No, we can't control monsters."

"What the tribal chief thought of back then was that we just have to release the monsters here if we are caught in a troublesome situation."

And when Dawn heard that, he thought that it was reasonable.

After all, if a goblin could control monsters, Dawn would have to get that goblin at all costs.

It would save some manpower, and it would also increase his village's fighting forces.

There were many more advantages to that. However, Dawn couldn't think about it any longer as the little goblin spoke once more.

"We are getting near it now." The little goblin said as he looked right in front.

Although it was dark here, all of the goblins could see. After all, they were goblins.

And what they could see was...a wide place. And when they walked inside that wide place, they felt it!

All of them felt it! Even Dawn could feel it!

"Graaaa!" The growl of some monster resounded out in this place as the goblins felt its gaze.

However, none of them were alerted. After all, they saw that Moris was not alerted.

That means that Moris could probably take care of the monster who was growling.

It was then that the little goblin spoke as he pointed a finger towards a certain direction.

"This is the secret monster that I talked about."

And when the little goblin said that, Dawn saw the place that was...full of trees.

It was full of trees that Dawn thought they were back in the forest.

---No...it's not trees, but...the trunks of the trees?

Dawn thought as he narrowed his eyes as he looked at the mass pile of the trunks of the trees.

There were so many trunks in this place that one could probably build a massive house just with those.

And those trunks were serving the purpose of blocking the monsters from escaping this place.

Of course, Dawn noticed that as soon as another growl resounded out in this place.

"Graaaaa!!!" The growl was stronger, but Dawn didn't care about that.

Why? It was because Dawn's ears picked that growled up from beyond the trees.

That was why Dawn thought that it was probably a gate or something like that.

However, there was something Dawn didn't expect and that was...

"How do we enter that?"

Dawn didn't know how they could enter the place when it was full of trunks blocking their way.

If even the monsters beyond it couldn't destroy it, that means it was just that many.

Although the goblins could take those trunks out, it would take a lot of time.

And time was the greatest priority of Dawn.

However, it seems that he didn't have to worry about that as the little goblin spoke.

"Ah, don't worry about that. We have a way to enter it."
