Chapter 89 - 86. not a part of it.....

When in the coma, she felt that her body felt very light, but still she couldn't move.

She tried opening her eyes because it was too dark, but she found that they were actually pretty heavy, as if someone had put lead in her eyelids.

Her consciousness was roaming around in the darkness for what felt like years to her, but she never gave up, she kept searching for the light...

She couldn't remember anything from her past, all she knew was she can't stop searching.

It was a very vague, but also a very strong feeling; she can't stop because someone was waiting for her, she can't stop because that someone is ought to be protected by her... if not, that someone will wither away and she can't let that happen so, she didn't stop searching.... she didn't give up.

It was like she finally got a hope... she saw light, she saw a path that could justify her existence....

But it seems it was too late....

..........

By the time she reached the light and remembered who she was, she couldn't make sense of anything anymore.

She was Qin Meilin, the only heir of the Qin Empire, she remembered that she had just completed her mission and was supposed to go back to Xuanxuan, go back home...

But what was this place? Where was it?

She stopped thinking for a whole second, she was Qin Meilin, she should and can be rational at any time...she calmed herself down...

She needed information, only that can give her her answers now.

First of all, it seems she is watching everything from the World's perspective, she didn't know how, but it seems no one can see her nor feel her presence.

She tried talking to the solemn people around the area, but it was to no avail....since, she can't do anything about it, she left it, for now; it's idiotic to find the answer of something that even you think is not scientifically possible; she was either transparent or saw everything from a third-person perspective, she didn't know if it was either or both or none.... she just left it as that, for now...this was also the real Meilin, rational and quick to make accurate and efficient decisions....

Next...

It was definitely a burial ground and it was raining...everything looked grey....

Everyone was in white, someone has probably died...

'Ah...I don't like this atmosphere', she thought or maybe she said it aloud, either way, no one could hear it anyway.

She didn't like this feeling, it felt stuffy and suffocating, the air was heavy and depressing....

These were the signs of bad news; it was as if she knew what was going to happen was bad and Murphy didn't let her down...

She saw a coffin being carried to the funeral parlour...but before she could follow them to see who had died, as she thought it will lead her to some answers, her consciousness blanked out for a moment.

She saw him, she saw Xuanxuan---

But—she felt that she didn't know him...

He looked very young, it was similar to the time when he was around 11 or 12 years, but somehow she didn't know this Xuanxuan, as ridiculous as it may sound, it felt like he didn't have the same soul as the Xuanxuan she knew and it was also that, this young ZiXuan was devoid of any emotions, his eyes were grey like a dead fish, she didn't like this feeling from him, it was like his soul was sucked out from his body.... it was not her Xuanxuan...

But even though she felt like it was not him, he still had the same body and she still didn't like to see him like that, knowing that it was useless, she still tried calling out for him...

"....Xuan...Xuanxuan.... What happened, Xuanxuan?"

She knew it was useless, she knew she wasn't being rational at the moment but it was a fact and one among her very few weaknesses, she could never be rational in any matter involving her Xuanxuan...

She tried calling out to him for some more time and as if God heard her plea, there was a flicker in his eyes and he looked straight into what she thought was the level of her eyes and whispered, "....Linlin"...it was a very soft whisper, if she wasn't paying attention, she could have thought of it as passing air, it was really very hoarse and soft...

Her heart felt like it was squeezed and impaled, but at the same time she was elated because he could hear her, but the happiness was too short-lived to get a hold of...

The young ZiXuan wasn't looking at her, he was looking at something through her...she made her consciousness turn around immediately, but she couldn't find herself except for the people carrying a coffin which was relatively smaller in size, there was nothing...

A sense of dread engulfed her for no reason or maybe because her brain knew the reason but her heart and soul didn't want to accept it...

BA-DUMP

"Who are you calling, Xuanxuan?"

BA-DUMP

"I'm your Linlin, I'm right here? I'm right in front of you?"

BA-DUMP BA-DUMP

She heard that soft pitiful voice again,

"Why did you leave your Xuanxuan alone... Linlin, why did you left me?"

Piiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii

Her head was buzzing...

She didn't want to know the truth, she didn't want to accept it, but her consciousness without her consent went over to the body which was to be put in the coffin.

Everything was white...

She saw herself lying on the mat...

She was in a pink dress, it was the dress Xuanxuan had gifted her, she looked very young, she was 11 back then...but she was too pale, the only colour on her face was her lips that had turned blue....

If someone ignored the place, it looked like she was sleeping, but she knew...that it was her from 11 years ago, she had been kidnapped back then, as far as she was concerned she lived, but it seems in this world she couldn't make it...

It was a world which had Xuanxuan, but she was not a part of it anymore...

She had died....
