Chapter 1021 Study Well!

While the taxis were driving to the dorm close to Shenya University.

"Yanran, why does it feel a little weird when we are in this taxi?"

Lin whispered while taking a glance at the driver who had his face plastered with a serious expression.

Although it was night and she understood that the driver was just working for some more money so that he could get back home quickly, but she felt that the actions of the driver were just a bit peculiar when compared to a normal taxi driver.

Normally, the taxi driver would at least ask or say something or greet their customer, but from the beginning till now when they were halfway through the destination, the guy had not even taken a glance at them much less talk something in the least.

And looking at him, the driver didn't look any much older than then at most a few years and could not be older than Ye Qian.

Usually, Lin and her friends were used to young people taking a sneak glance at them or at Yanran who could be said as the most beautiful among them, but still, the guy looked completely immune and had his gaze only focused on the taxi driving in front of them.

"Hmm, you are right, but maybe since we all were together he thought that we are all going to the same place so didn't need to ask about our destination, I think brother Qian should have told the driver in the front car."

Yanran nodded with her lips pursed, indeed she also felt a bit odd.

As for the three at the back, they talked for a while since Yuan Meng didn't talk with Yu Lan as she was busy in the kitchen when they arrived.

Yu Lan felt quite good and talked for a while until they reached close to the dorm.

"SCREECH!"

The two taxi's stopped one after the other with a screeching sound of the brakes.

The taxi stood right in front of the gate so all Yu Lan and her friends had to do was to get out and walk in.

"Big Brother, tell the girls that I will come and meet them some other day too."

Yu Lan said as she smiled.

The other also nodded in agreement.

"Hmm."

"You all should take care of yourself and study well."

Ye Qian smiled and stroked Yu Lan's head.

Right now, his actions was not any different from the time when he used to drop Yu Lan at her school.

A bright smile appeared on Yu Lan's face as she nodded but didn't say anything.

Meanwhile, the others could not help but laugh.

"Does Brother Qian thinks of us as children?"

Lin could not help but chuckle.

"En that..."

Ye Qian scratched the back of his head and smiled wryly, indeed his words were a bit unnecessary for them since they were old enough to know.

But he had just said it out of unconsciousness as he remembered the time when he would come to drop Yu Lan to her school and college later.

"It's alright Big Brother, I am still small for you."

Yu Lan smiled as she placed her hand on Ye Qian's which was still on her head.

"Alright, now go, it's getting cold, you should not stay outside for long."

Ye Qian turned to Yuan Meng and nodded.

Waving their hands at Ye Qian and Yuan Meng, Yu Lan and her friends entered the dorm and it was not until they were finally in the building and could not see Ye Qian did Yu Lan turned around.

Ye Qian sighed as he continued to wave his hand for a few moments.

He could see that from the small window there was still Yu Lan trying to look at him.

One of the taxis had driven off after Ye Qian gave the money while the others still stood there.

The driver also had walked out and unknown to anyone, he had already thoroughly looked at the surroundings carefully.

In fact, the other taxi which had gone away was also not much farther away and was just a hundred meters away from them.

But if there was someone who had opened the trunks of the taxis then they would be shocked to find two more people hiding within.

In fact, there were not any less than 3 people in each of the taxis taking along the driver and the other two who were in the trunk.

But other than that, there were still a few more figures which were present all around.

Unknown to Yuan Meng and others, these figures had arrived just a few moments ago before the taxis arrived at the dorms.

And all o them were hiding in the shadows.

"Huh?"

Yuan Meng was a bit confused, but then thinking about it carefully she nodded.

"Mengmeng, I will not let anything happen to you."

While walking towards the taxi, Ye Qian held her hand and muttered.

Yuan Meng smiled gently and turned to him.

"You don't have to say that, I believe in you, I always have."

"Hmm."

Ye Qian nodded as they entered the taxi while he gave a light nod to the driver.
