Chapter 1022 Someone In Dark Clothes!

As they were driving back home, Ye Qian sat right behind the driver's seat.

It was unknown whether he had thought about something and did so or not.

A large expanse of open area widely surrounded Shenya University.

The driver who was driving the taxi and a couple who sat at the back.

Just as the driver was driving at a normal pace neither in hurry nor slow, something flashed past the road in front of them making the driver quickly apply the brakes.

"SCREECH"

Yuan Meng who was leisurely resting her head on Ye Qian's shoulder was shocked by the sudden application of brake as she almost stumbled forward hitting the back of the seat.

But Ye Qian was fast as he lightly held her head with one of his hands and then supported her shoulder with another.

The driver spat as he checked the road ahead.

He had seen a shadow flash right in front of the road just a moment ago and that was also why he quickly applied the brakes.

But now that he took a glance, there was nothing at all.

The driver was sure that he was not hallucinating since he had clearly seen a black figure flash past the glass of the taxi.

"Is everything alright?"

Ye Qian sighed in his heart, from the expressions on Yuan Meng's face he could clearly see how much frightened she was, he had never seen her in fear.

He nodded at the driver.

"Drive quick."
