Chapter 1385 He Was So Young

After hearing what Linda had said, Helen couldn't stop her tears from flowing. She kept wiping her eyes dry but they kept spilling back.

Linda couldn't help but blame herself. She wondered if her reproach was too harsh.

However, the truth was still important for Helen to know. It was useless to beat around the bush.

"I apologize, if I may have been too frank with my words," Linda began. "But you shouldn't do this. If he was bullied, he should learn to fight back. You can't blame him, Helen. He is innocent. He didn't do anything wrong."

"My Lady, please. It's not my fault. I'm just an ordinary person. What good will it bring if we just keep thinking about who we should blame? It was his fault. He should be blamed. He shouldn't have taken the toy to his kindergarten. Surely, you can't expect me to save him when he's at school and I'm at work, can you?"

Linda didn't wish that Helen would be able to understand her, but she sincerely hoped that Helen would treat her children better.

From behind her, Bun had approached Linda cautiously. "My Lady, what are you doing?"

"Oh, Bun. You've come at the right moment. Let's take this child to the hospital. He needs to have his face checked. Helen, did you wrap this gauze all by yourself?"

"Yes, My Lady. I've already disinfected it as much as I can. There's no need for h

eard.

"There's a bully? How did they deal with this? Did they just give him a free pass?"

"As far as I know, Helen said she was powerless. They weren't able to do anything about it," Linda responded.

"N-No way!"

"Ouch! It hurts!" The young boy wailed. Anna had sterilized the gash with alcohol and a cotton pad. She felt incredibly sorry for him.

"Shh, baby boy, it's okay. Don't cry. You won't feel the pain after this."

The little child nodded and tried his best to hold his tears back, not wanting to bother them more. Anna made quick work patching his skin back together. It took a while before she was able to apply an ointment to the wound. She sighed and added a fresh gauze over his skin.

"Poor child..." Anna whispered softly. She had to confirm what the bully used to cut the boy's face and if it had rust. If it did, then that would be another troublesome problem.
