Chapter 1386 Dare Not To Offend Him

"Kid, can you tell me how you got this wound on your face?" Anna asked patiently.

"Scissors."

Anna couldn't believe her ears because she couldn't accept the fact that a little child could do this to someone else with a pair of scissors over a petty fight.

'If someone doesn't get that boy checked up for mental disorder, he might end up growing up to be a troubled person, ' Anna thought to herself.

After Anna disinfected the little kid's wound, Linda carried the kid in her arms and went back home. When she arrived, she caught Helen crying in secret while she was working.

She knew that as a mother, Helen was unwilling to see her little baby getting hurt in that way. Thus, she wondered if there was anything else that Helen was keeping from her.

"What the hell happened to your child? You'd better explain everything to me clearly."

Helen dropped down on her knees as soon as she saw Linda.

"My Lady, I really don't know how to tell you about this. I feel very sorry for my son as well..."

Linda didn't want to see Helen groveling on her knees.

She quickly helped Helen up on her feet.

"Just don't forget to bring your son to the private hospital of

the truth to Linda from the very beginning, because Linda was powerful enough to help her.

If she had told this to Linda at the very start, she would have sought justice for Helen's son.

"What did the school authorities say?"

"The school asked us to mediate the problem as quietly as possible, and said that the boy's father would give us a sum of money as compensation... But what about my son's eyes? He's just a little boy. How can he live if he's blind? He has his entire life ahead of him, but now all he can see is darkness."

"It's a little late to care about your son's life now, isn't it? Why didn't you just come to me with the truth from the beginning?"

"My Lady, I don't know what to say. I'm really sorry."

"Don't apologize to me! Take me to your son first!"
