Chapter 1384 It Is Not His Fault

"You..."

Linda was about to say something but Charles kissed her on the lips.

The next morning, Linda got up. She planned to see Mamie that day to check on her and make sure she was fine.

Mamie was safe for now.

Linda knew for a fact that Rosy wouldn't do anything against Mamie in wake of everything that had been happening recently. If something bad happened to Mamie, people would automatically turn to Rosy.

As soon as Linda walked out of the yard, she saw a little boy running towards her.

The little boy bumped into Linda and Linda lifted him up immediately.

This little boy was Helen's son.

Helen was their gardener in the villa.

Linda had helped Helen before because Helen had confided to her what she'd been going through. She knew how difficult it was for a single mother to raise her children so she gave Helen a raise. She also allowed Helen to take care of her kids while she was working.

Now, the two kids were playing in the garden.

Not far from where she was, Helen was running toward them, looking rather apologetic.

"My Lady, I'm so sorry. I turned my

d me! That's what happened! That's the truth!" the little boy cried.

He sounded so upset and he seemed to be telling the truth. After all, why would a little boy lie?

"Why did you bring your toys to school then?" Helen pressed.

Linda wasn't able to hold herself back anymore. She interrupted her, "Helen, I don't think you should be talking to your son like that. You're sending him the wrong message. Why can't he take his toys to school? It's possible that other kids are going to want that toy and ask him for it. But that belongs to him. That's his toy. He can choose to share or give it to others if he wants. But if he doesn't want to then that's also fine. Your son didn't do anything wrong. Why are you blaming him?"
