Chapter 288 - 288 Movie Time (1)

"I want to say something, I will tell you that when I met Leo I thought I was a dead pup but that was not how things turned out at all. I was blessed by getting a chance at a second life with a hunter that was cold but sometimes had a warm spot. I do not regret becoming his family. I would follow him as he was the one that saved me. I think a lot of us here probably feel that this is not a mistake. Mother, you are our leader and we will follow you no matter what." Luke picked up his juice and held it up then he chugged the whole glass and in the end, he let out a sigh.

"With that being said let's have a wonderful lunch and since we have the whole afternoon now free I owe a little girl a movie time." Kitty smiled and looked at Tiana.

"Oh, Mommy, Tiana is so happy. Thank you so very much. Tiana has been waiting to watch that movie with you. Tiana refused to watch it without you." She ate her food slowly so that she would not choke and enjoyed everything that was on her plate. 

Luke smiled and started to eat his plate full. He was so hungry from taking care of Charlette that he ate a little more than normal. 

Natan silently ate his food and was happy to see that everyone was enjoying the food. "Thank you for everything."

"It is quite alright if you were in my shoes you would do the same as you are a person with the right morals." Kitty smiled and slowly ate what she could. 

Charlette burst into tears when Kitty finished her meal and everyone at the table jumped. 

"My little Sunshine, why so sad?" Kitty lifted her up and took her upstairs to the bedroom. She fed her milk, burped her and changed her diaper. "Are you missing Daddy? He will come home soon enough and then you will be happy again." Kitty rocked Charlette and walked downstairs and into the living room. 

Charlette finally calmed down and looked at where the soothing voice was coming from then gooed a sound at Kitty.

Luke came into the living room and looked at Charlette, "Is everything okay?" He was concerned over her and thought that maybe there was something that he could do to help. 

"There is nothing wrong but she is a little fussy, it could be because both Leo and I were not here and that the formula that you guys fed her was not to her liking. There is nothing major that is the matter and she will get used to everything soon enough. She is only just beginning her life in this chaotic world." Kitty sat down on the couch and looked down at Charlette as she closed her eyes and fell asleep.

Tiana raced into the living room and looked at Kitty happily, "Will we watch the movie now?" She wasn't too loud as she didn't want to wake up her baby sister.

Cindy followed behind Tiana and smiled at Kitty who was resting with Charlette in her arms. "Tiana, how about I help you sit next to Kitty and then we will get the movie set up?"

Luke walked to the DVD player and got the movie set up so that they could all watch the movie together. He set it all up quickly and efficiently. "Okay, once everyone is seated then I press play." 

Stella came into the room and looked at Charlette and smiled, "Would you like me to take her for you? Just in case you fall asleep?"

"That would be most helpful." Kitty lifted Charlette to Stella and then rested her head on the back of the couch. 

Tiana lifted up her hands to reach up towards Kitty and Cindy lifted her up. Cindy placed her on the side closest to the television. "Thank you, Auntie! Tiana is super excited." She was bouncing on the couch happily waiting in anticipation for the movie to begin. 

Cindy walked to a spare chair and watched from the side. "You are welcome, Tiana."

Luke saw that everyone was sitting and then pressed play on the DVD player for the movie. He took the chair that was closest to Kitty and sat down. As the opening started he whispered to Kitty, "Mother, what is going on? I know that I am young and do not know everything that is going on but do you think it would be okay to tell me?"

Kitty opened her eyes, "Luke, there is a lot in the shadows that is not easy to explain but there are some things I can tell you. First there are a lot more supernaturals in the world then just the few that you know of. I knew a lot of different ones. There is a map which, Leo and his group found. This map has, " She stopped as the movie got a bit on the quiet side and waited for it to get loud again before continuing. 

Luke nodded his head in understanding and thought about what other types of creatures that were supposed to be myths that were actually living.

The movie got back into a song. "The map has locations of some of these supernaturals. Not all of them but a few of them. There are a lot more than that guy has realized. Do not worry about the map is now in our possession I will work on getting the supernaturals to move so that nothing will happen to them. That will be my goal for tomorrow. Today I have to help an old friend who was found in confinement and direly needs my help. I will try to not push myself too hard."

"I see, it is a little unreal that there are more but at the same time, it makes sense. If we are possible then why wouldn't the others be a possibility for others to exist? I am glad that you are doing better. If you need anything from me please just ask me, Mother. I am not sure how much I can be but you know that you can count on me," Luke patted over his heart while smiling happily.
