On getting to the house, Sakiko rang the bell and was ushered in by the caretaker, Mr Toujou.

"Good evening, thank you very much," she appreciated.

"Welcome. If Miss Ishida here to see Sasuke, he is under the weather at the moment," Mr Toujou informed.

"I was informed at school. I brought him notes and to check how up on him?"

"Very well young miss. Sasuke is lucky to have you or a friend. Anyways, I do not need to take you to his room, please if you may. I would have some snacks and juice sent over."

"Thanks, Mr Toujou-san. I'll be heading up now."

"Okay."

Both of them turned and went to separate directions. She took the stairs and made her way to his room. Everywhere was just as she remembered it. It felt as though it was yesterday she went back home.

Before long, she was standing right outside of his room.

"Umm ahh!"

She inhaled sharply, taking in a lung full of air and slowly exhaling. Placing her hand on the doorknob, she pushed open the door and it paved way for her.

Lying face back to the door, Sasuke was covered from neck to toe with a thick blanket. Sakiko was so shocked she forgot to breathe for a while.

A minute later, she finally found strength in her legs and walked into the room.

The lights were switched off, but she didn't want to put them on to disturb him. Instead, she moved closer to his bed and watched him.

After a while, he shifted in his sleep and slowly blinked. Unfortunately, Sakiko didn't close the door, allowing the light from outside the room seeped in.

Sasuke opened his eyes as soon as he noticed someone standing over him. At first, he thought it was the caretaker or Father Tanaka who came in. But when he noticed the silhouette of a girl standing behind him, he turned in his bed.

Their eyes met, no one uttering a word, as their minds did the talking for them.

She didn't notice when the tear slid down her face, but all she knew was that she was sad seeing him sick.

"Saki…"

Before he completed his sentence, she fell on his chest and started sobbing uncontrollably.

"Woohoo, boo hoo!"

"Sakiko!"

He was stunned by her sudden action, but relaxed when he noticed how sad she was.

"I'm sorry for troubling you and making you cry," he apologized.

She kept crying non-stop, she really missed him.

"I'm so sorry, very sorry Sakiko."

He lifted his hands to brush her hair and pet her, all the while whispering, "It's okay, it's okay."

They stayed in that position for a while, he lightly hugging her, and she crying her heart out. After some minutes, her sobs reduced and she stopped crying altogether.

He removed his hand from her hair, freeing her from his embrace. She shifted and sat up on the bed by his side.

"Stop teasing me alright."

"You didn't miss me as well?"

"No," she said and turned her head to the side, closed her eyes and lightly puff her cheeks.

"If you didn't then why are you here and crying?"

"Mrs Hasegawa Sensei asked me to bring notes to you. That's all," she lied.

"And the ears? You were crying pretty seriously like a babe." He questioned.

"A fly flew into my eyes," she lied again.

"Tsk Tsk! Tsk! Since when did my twin sis start to lie?"

"Are you calling me a liar?" She shot back at him, questioningly.

He rolled his eyes weakly at her. 'Leave it to a girl to play being the victim.'

"Nope, I wouldn't dare. I'm just saying... "

"That you are wrong, I did not miss you." She helped him complete his statement after her interruption.

"Whatever you say. Now if you'll excuse me miss, I do not want to be disturbed."

Just like that, he turned to his side and completely ignored her.

"Hey, are you ignoring me?"

*No answer*

"Hey, Sasuke!"

Knock! Knock!

The door pushed wider, ushering in Mr Toujou as he walked towards them with a tray of snacks and juice.

"Sasuke-Kun, Miss Ishida, your snacks."

"Thank you, Mr Toujou."

"I'll just leave it here on the bedside table and leave. Sasuke-Kun, I would get ready your evening dosage and prepare dinner soon," he informed.

Then made his way to Sasuke's desk and dropped the snacks and exited the room.

The moment the door closed, ensuring their privacy, Sasuke leaned in and hugged Sakiko close, completely stunning her and taking her off guard.

"_"

"Sasuke."

"I'm really sorry about what happened yesterday. Please forgive me," he pleaded.
