Chloe stood by the gate of Peter's house and watched how fast Oscar's car was going. The blonde haired woman could only sigh from her lips. Randy was standing behind her, gripping the straps of her purse, and with some trepidation he dared to open his lips.

"Miss Chloe, how is it? Should we go back now…?"

Hearing Randy's stupid question made Chloe turn around quickly. Her straight hair was tossed by the light breeze, causing a few strands of hair to stick to her face.

"We've come all the way home now," Chloe sneered, "If we go back, all my plans will be ruined. You goddamn pig brain!"

At the face of Chloe's cursing, Randy could only nod his head. In his heart, he really wanted to slap himself on the cheek for asking such a stupid sounding question.

"You just wait here, don't go too far. I'll come in for a while." Chloe continued without giving Randy a chance to reply.

Since Chloe came to Indonesia, she has never visited her parents at all. She was also sure that her parents did not know that she had been in Indonesia for 3 months. The woman stepped in and entered the gates of Peter's house further. Before she could notice the changes that were taking place around the house, she had already seen Greta in the doorway.

"C-Chloe, when did you arrive in Indonesia?" Greta asked, looking surprised just like when she saw Lisa and Oscar's presence in her room.

Chloe walked while tossing her hair slowly. The scent of the flowers that graced Peter's little garden permeated her sense of smell, making her nose wrinkle. She stood up straight in front of the demonic woman she hadn't seen in person for a long time.

"I'm here to see you, Mom." Chloe replied coldly.

For so long, maybe decades, the two of them had never seen each other. It's not that they don't like or avoid each other. It was purely because of the distance that separates them, and perhaps the fact that Greta rarely goes to Sweden, or that Chloe rarely goes to Indonesia.

Since Greta rarely saw Chloe and Chloe rarely saw her birth mother, they were not familiar with each other. They only got to see each other through the screen of their cellphones rather than meeting by hugging or just holding hands.

But that doesn't mean Greta's affection for Chloe will disappear. To be honest, she loved Chloe more than Oscar. She was even willing to die for her daughter.

After a long time not seeing each other left Greta dumbfounded. The woman's lips parted slightly, not expecting that the one standing in front of her was her daughter.

Why was her daughter prettier than the last time she saw her?

Greta immediately took Chloe's hands and looked her up and down with tears in her eyes. "You really are my daughter! Finally, you came home to me after so long languishing abroad. Gosh, I am so glad you are finally here with me…!"

After saying that, Greta's body was pulled by Chloe and the two of them hugged tightly, letting go of each other's longing.

Arriving at the nearest hospital, Oscar and Lisa agreed to give William the best. The best, according to them, is to take William for a CT Scan, X-Ray, and other physical examinations.

Fortunately, William's ankle wound was not too severe and did not require major surgery. But there was a slight fracture in the bone around the boy's ankle. Doctors advised them to have William stay for a week in the hospital. In addition to making his feet heal quickly, the doctor also needs to monitor the boy's healing progress.

Since they arrived at the hospital quite late, not many people were seen in the corridors. William had just finished all the physical examinations when the clock showed 2 AM.

With limp legs, Lisa walked out of the doctor's room, carrying William's examination results. Not long after her palm managed to open the door to William's bedroom, Lisa couldn't see anything but darkness.

Oscar, who was standing near the patient's bed, saw the figure of a woman who suddenly fainted in front of William's bedroom. The man immediately stepped quickly towards Lisa and lifted the woman's body from the tiled floor that felt so cold.

"Lisa, Lisa! Geez…" Oscar called frantically, he raised his right hand and patted the woman's cheek, "What are you doing?"

Seeing no reaction from Lisa made Oscar even more panicked. Without thinking twice, he immediately stood up, lifted her body and left William alone in the living room. He walked out screaming a little.

"Someone please help! My lover suddenly fainted!"

The light in the room shone through Lisa's tightly closed eyelids. Every time she tried to open her eyes, she found it very difficult to do. Finally, she gave up and let her eyelids close again.

Lisa woke up the second time when she heard the sound of the door closing slowly. It wasn't long before she heard footsteps coming toward her and the chair next to her was pulled back.

Even though Lisa still had her eyes closed, she could still feel her head feeling dizzy. She felt the world around her spinning violently, causing her to involuntarily frown.

Before Lisa could open her eyes, she felt her forehead stroked by the warm thumb against her cold skin. Finally, after a long time of trying, Lisa was only able to slowly open her eyes.

For the next few moments, she couldn't see clearly. Her vision was blurry and she could only smell the typical hospital medicine scent that she hated so much.

"Honey, how are you?" A very familiar female voice asked in her ear.

Chloe and Randy had just returned from Peter's house, visiting Greta for a while.

Meanwhile, Oscar and Dani were in William's room, looking after the boy. The moment they saw Lisa open her eyes, Chloe and Randy rushed over to ask a series of questions that instantly made her head feel like it was going to explode.

"Should I call a doctor?"

"Would you like a drink first?"
