Chapter 743 - The Sun, The Moon, And You

Not long after, the fragrant aroma of cooking began to waft from the kitchen. It was carried by the wind to the living room, making Brigitta smell it too.

The old woman was watching some news on TV. Actually she did not watch seriously because she often fell asleep. Her right hand which rested on her lap carried the remote.

Apart from getting older, the atmosphere in the living room is indeed suitable for sleeping. With a soft sofa, as well as air conditioning that fanned a cold wind, the soft voice of the news anchor filled the room. According to Brigitta, it was all able to put her to sleep.

Lisa found Brigitta in the living room with her mouth slightly open. The woman shook her head and tried to wake her up without startling her.

"Grandma," Lisa tried while patting the old woman's arm. "Lunch is ready…"

Brigitta blinked a few times, "Ah, is it done?"

Lisa cleared her throat, "Let's eat now before the food gets cold."

When the two women reached the dining room, Oscar was setting the table. He put down three plates and arranged the cutlery neatly. The man's temples looked wet from sweat. Even though he did nothing but do the dishes, the hot air that day almost drove him crazy!

Oscar was sweating though he did nothing, imagine Lisa who did everything. Her ponytail looked unkempt with a few strands stuck to her face and the back of her neck.

Lisa quickly opened a chair for Brigitta and helped the old woman sit. "I was afraid that Grandma's teeth wouldn't be strong enough to chew on the meat, so I purposely made boiled fish soup. Hopefully it tastes good and suits your taste."

"It must be delicious, it must be delicious!" Brigitta replied excitedly. After inhaling the delicious aroma of Lisa's cooking, her stomach was churning. "Everything you make must be delicious!"

Not long after Brigitta took the cutlery, the old woman's cell phone suddenly rang. Brigitta huffed in annoyance and took her cell phone. The old woman's brow furrowed as she tried to read the message she had just received.

"Ah, Oscar. Grandma's phone bill hasn't been paid this month," said Brigitta when she read the message, "Pay it please."

Oscar cleared his throat and took the warm rice. "Sure."

Even though Oscar and Brigitta were both sitting at the dining table and ready to eat her cooking, Lisa couldn't sit still. There's just something she did. Starting from getting Brigitta water, rice, to waiting for her reaction.

Lisa just ate when she thought everything was done and Brigitta could still taste her food. Since she hasn't cooked in a long time, Lisa is afraid that her cooking skills worsened.

At least, if the food didn't taste good, Brigittia wouldn't have to taste Oscar's cooking. If the old woman tasted his cooking, Lisa was sure Brigitta would never leave the bathroom!

After lunch, Oscar calls Dani and tells him to pay off Brigitta's phone bill. As for Lisa, the woman helped Brigitta up from the chair and walked to the room. The old woman felt sleepy and told them she wanted to sleep for a while.

Lisa opened the window of Brigitta's room and said, "I'll go out first. Later if you need anything, you can call me."

But when Lisa turned around, she saw that Brigitta had closed her eyes and the sound of snoring was heard from her lips. Then she didn't make any other sound and tried to get out of the room without making any noise.

Since Brigitta's villa was located on the outskirts of the city where not many vehicles passed by, the atmosphere around the villa is quiet. Apart from the security guard patrolling around the area, no one else can enter.

Lisa closed the door to Brigitta's room slowly and saw Oscar standing with his back to her. The man looked out of the villa through the large window. Oscar's hands went into his trouser pockets, the polo shirt the man was wearing made his shoulders look wide.

Oscar's posture from the past until now has always managed to make Lisa chuckle in awe. If she looked more closely, Oscar's body actually formed the letter 'V'. From his broad shoulders to his small waist. So small that Lisa could imagine her hands easily wrapping around Oscar's waist.

Lisa walked over to Oscar slowly and hugged the man from behind. She could feel that the man was taken aback from his slightly jolted body and his right hand protruding from his trouser pocket. It wasn't long before his big warm palm touched Lisa's wrist.

"Why are you—"

"Do you know that I used to like two things?" Lisa interrupted first.

Oscar frowned, "Two things?"

"Yeah, two things."

Oscar was silent for a moment and tried to guess what Lisa liked first. While doing that, he tried to turn around so he could see Lisa's face. But the woman actually tightened her arms and forced Oscar to stand with his back to her.

"I don't know," Oscar replied, "What do you like?"

"I used to really like the sun and the moon." Lisa replied softly while putting her cheek on Oscar's back. She could hear the man's heartbeat at a normal rhythm.

"Sun and moon? Why?"

Lisa was silent for a while then replied. "I used to like the sun on Saturdays and Sundays. Why? Because the mornings on those two days were always pleasant and the air somehow always felt fresh. As for the moon… I like it from Monday to Friday. Coming home from work on a tiring day and seeing the moon adorning the night sky can always make me forget how hard my day has been."

"Ah…" Oscar replied with concern, "And now? What do you prefer?"

"Now I still love the sun and the moon. But the difference is, there's another one."

Oscar just cleared his throat, signaling for Lisa to continue.

"Now… I like you too."

A warm feeling immediately filled the man's cheeks. A look of surprise filled the man's face. His eyebrows shot up and his hand that touched the back of Lisa's palm loosened slightly.

A wide smile immediately graced Oscar's sensual lips. "I'm grateful that I can get into 3 things that you like. Thank you."

Lisa cleared her throat, "I like the sun on Saturdays and Sundays, and the moon on Mondays and Fridays. If it's you, I like you anytime, anywhere, any day….. forever."
