Chapter 744 - Meeting Another Man?

Suddenly, Lisa released her tight hug on Oscar's waist and let the man turn around. When she saw Oscar's shocked face and slightly parted lips, Lisa threw a big smile at him.

Now it's not just his body that feels warm. If he could say it, all the organs, blood, cells, everything inside Oscar's body felt warm and hot, even to the point of burning.

If the air was so hot that he could sweat profusely and groan inwardly, now he could feel a different type of heat. The heat gave him a sense of relief, made him feel a wind that wasn't there. And the wind managed to take away all his worries and doubts.

What happened….?

Did Lisa just confess her feelings?

Oscar touched both of Lisa's small shoulders and said, "Lisa, I can't promise to always be with you for the rest of my life. But I promise, I will always protect, look after, and love you with all my heart and soul."

Lisa felt butterflies in her stomach, with some beautiful flowers blooming beautifully. Of course it made it difficult for her to breathe. However, the flowers and the butterflies were able to make her body feel like tasting an endless spring.

Almost six years ago, the lovers were just strangers. They are just a couple of strangers who accidentally meet at a nightclub. Neither of them thought and hoped that they would meet again one day.

Now, five years later, Lisa and Oscar are like postage stamps and letters. Nothing can separate them, except death. This is crazy indeed, but Oscar is willing to die for Lisa and asks God to always take care of her.

Oscar wasn't the only one who felt his body warm and his heart blossoming. Lisa also felt the same way. A strange heat filled the woman's body almost immediately.

"Oscar, thank you for not only giving me your love and heart. I'm really glad that you also give me hope." Lisa said slowly.

"Thank you for trying to mend our relationship again." Oscar replied sincerely. He walked over to Lisa and kissed her forehead. "Thank you for coming into my life."

The lovers are now enjoying the view of the villa from the window of the house. They stood next to each other, Lisa's arms wrapped around Oscar's slim waist while her cheeks touched his broad chest. Oscar's arms wrapped around Lisa's shoulders, bringing her body closer to him.

"Ah, do you remember when we first started dating?" Lisa asked softly while tilting her head. From below, Oscar's facial features were defined and his cheekbones stood out. Handsome, no matter what direction, he always looks handsome.

"Which one?" Oscar asked back.

Lisa cleared her throat. "When we first started dating, no one knew about our relationship. When I got married, my mother didn't even know about it. When we divorced no one knew, except us. At that time, I thought that it was better for no one to know than have them talk behind our backs."

Even now, Lisa actually prefers to be in a relationship without anyone else knowing. She'd be happier if no one knew they were fighting, or worse, end their relationship.

Since Lisa is the type of person who gets easily offended, she knows that if someone says bad things about her or her life, she won't shut that person down. Instead of getting into trouble, Lisa decides to keep her relationship or life a secret from the public.

Unlike Oscar, who wanted the whole world to know that he was in a relationship with Lisa, he wanted to love her as hard as possible. He wanted to show other men that Lisa already had one man who couldn't be challenged.

"What now?" Oscar asked, "Has there been a change in your way of thinking?"

Lisa wrinkled her forehead, "Nothing. I'm still the same as before. I want our relationship to be a secret with only me, you, and our families knowing about it."

After Lisa said that, no more sound was heard. If she listened more clearly, Lisa could hear Oscar's heartbeat racing up and then back to normal.

"Ah.. then, when are you going to tell the others that we're already in a relationship? When are you going to show me to other men?" Oscar asked coldly. This time the man's hand was not hugging Lisa's shoulder.

Showing him to other men?

Did he mean to say that she was trying to hide him and had an affair out there?

Lisa's face changed drastically when she heard Oscar's question. Did she hear it right? The woman let go of Oscar's slender waist and looked at his face with an expression of disbelief.

Lisa knows that Oscar doesn't like it when she hides their relationship from the public. They even had a fight just because Lisa said that she didn't want to let other people know about their relationship.

But instead of quarreling, shouldn't they understand each other? In a relationship, they should listen to each other and understand what they truly want.

"Oh my gosh, can you really stop talking nonsense? What do you mean I should show you to other men? I've often said that I prefer that keeping our relationship a secret from other people doesn't mean I'm seeing another guy!" Lisa grumbled.

Hearing that made Oscar raise his eyebrows, "Only teenagers like to keep their romantic relationship a secret from others. Usually, they do it so that their teachers, parents, or friends don't know. But we're adults, Lisa. Why should we keep our relationship a secret from others?"

"If you don't want to tell the others that we are dating and getting married, I will assume that you are trying to protect someone else's feelings." Oscar fired back, his words no less spicy than Lisa's.

The woman was completely taken aback by his reply. This man should have known the real reason why she didn't want to tell anyone about their relationship but it seemed that he had decided to turn a deaf ear to it.

"Whatever. I won't force you to believe my words.. I don't care if you think I'm seeing another guy out there."
