"Grandma, there's a lot going on between Oscar and me. It's natural that Grandma doesn't know everything, because we didn't have any plans to tell you about things that actually happened. But, what we said earlier is true. William is 5 years old now. Later when the time is right, and William is coming home from his boarding school, I will bring him here to see you."

The tone that came out of Lisa's lips sounded soft and low, just like the breeze outside the room. She tried her best to make her voice sound serious so that the old woman would believe her.

At first, Brigitta couldn't believe their words right away. She kept assuming that Oscar and Lisa were both too excited to have children that the lovers were hallucinating.

But after she heard Lisa's serious tone and the seriousness on the pair's faces, over time, Brigitta believed their words.

"So I really have a great-grandson?" Brigitta asked in disbelief, but at the same time showing her joy.

Lisa and Oscar didn't make a sound. They were too happy to see the look on Brigitta's face that looked radiant.

Brigitta suddenly got up from the sofa and looked at Lisa and Oscar in turn. The old woman's two clear blue eyes glazed over. "Th-this is amazing. A.. ah-, I- I want to talk to my husband for a while through prayer. He must be happy that we finally have a great-grandson!"

"You guys wait here for a moment, I won't be long." Brigitta continued after wiping her tears.

After saying that, Brigitta turned around and entered one of the rooms in the house. As soon as the two of them heard the sound of the door closing, Oscar laughed softly. The sound of his deep laughter filled Lisa's eardrums.

"Looks like Grandma was happy to hear the happy news earlier."

Oscar nodded his head and crossed his legs. "Of course."

At first, Lisa and Oscar thought that Brigitta might spend 30 minutes praying, talking to her husband. But apparently, until an hour and a half had passed, the old woman had not come out of the room.

Since Lisa and Oscar hadn't had lunch, their stomachs churned, demanding to be filled with food. Lisa had no motivation to make a sound or sit up straight. As for Oscar, instead of feeling hungry, the man chose to walk around Brigitta's villa.

"Grandma hasn't come out yet?" Oscar asked, glancing at the clock on the wall. The man had circled Brigitta's villa and sat on a lounge chair by the pool for a few minutes. The old woman was still not coming out.

Lisa shook her head "Not yet."

"I'm so hungry," Oscar grumbled as he sat down next to Lisa. "Let's order some food first—"

Before Oscar could finish his sentence, they heard the sound of the door opening. Suddenly, the lovers turned and saw Brigitta finally come out of the room with bloodshot eyes, but a wide smile graced her lips.

"Grandma," Lisa called, the woman got up from the sofa and walked over to Brigitta, "I'll cook this afternoon, for you and Oscar."

Brigitta raised her eyebrows, "But there's the maid who can cook for you..."

"No need, I'll just cook once in a while."

"All right, all right," The old woman walked over to Lisa, "But I'm coming with you, okay? A true hero in the Petersson family can't be too tired!"

At first, Lisa thought that she had misheard Brigitta's words. Maybe because she was too hungry, her ears heard it wrong. But when she heard Oscar chuckle, Lisa realized that what she heard was true.

"True hero?" Lisa asked amused with a wide smile.

This time, Brigitta had walked ahead of her. The old woman turned her head for a moment and gave a smile that was not as wide as Lisa's, "Yes, a true hero. You managed to give me a great-grandson before I died! So you deserve to be called a true hero in the Petersson family!"

"Oh my gosh, Grandma…. Having children and giving you great-grandchildren is a must for me." Lisa replied in disbelief. She walked after Brigitta from behind and couldn't help but feel happy.

It doesn't matter, Oscar is the man Lisa wants forever and ever. She will do everything to get this wish fulfilled, including having children with Oscar.

The man longs for a small family that is complete and perfect. According to Oscar, new families will become whole when they can have children. And again, since Lisa loved Oscar so much, she was willing to do anything.

Even if Oscar wanted another child, one day she would try to grant the man's request.

So, to give the man a child and give Brigitta great-grandchildren, it was a must for Lisa.

"Well, you just sit here, okay. Let me cook lunch for you." Lisa said when they reached the kitchen. She pulled out a chair at the dining table for the old woman and helped her sit down.

Brigitta chuckled, "Eh, alright. You cook what's delicious, it's up to you what you want to cook."

Since this is Lisa's first time at Brigitta's villa, she is having a hard time finding cooking utensils.

Not long after, Oscar walked over to them into the kitchen. He sat down next to Brigitta and followed the old woman's actions. Together, they watched Lisa's actions from behind.

"Hey," Brigitta turned and showed a dissatisfied look on her face, "Why are you here? Hurry up and help your wife!"

Hearing Brigitta's order made Oscar smile. He nodded his head and got up from the chair, "Yes, I'll help Lisa cook."

Brigitta cleared her throat, "That's how it is with your wife. How could a husband in the Petersson family stand by and watch his wife suffer like this? Embarrassing."

Instead of being angry or offended by Brigitta's words, Oscar was laughing so hard that Lisa turned and looked at them. She knew that what Brigitta said was not meant to offend the man, but to tease him.

While Lisa and now Oscar were also fighting in the kitchen, Brigitta decided to get out of there. Over time, the old woman felt like a mosquito coil! She saw the lovers sometimes laugh together, or Lisa scolding Oscar for being useless in the kitchen, until he was only ordered to wash the dirty dishes.

Finally, Brigitta chose to leave the two of them alone and wait for them in the living room.
