Chapter 95 - Going Back Home (2)

Lim Yi Sheng reached the airport just in time for his boarding time.

"Let's talk again when I get back." Lu Nai He came with him until before he entered the boarding gate although he really didn't need to.

"Yeah."

"Don't get too lovey-dovey with your wife." his friend didn't forget to tease him again which he kind of actually expected already because of the reason why he will leave earlier that him.

"Sorry, I will." he answered with dignified smile. The words used by Lu Nai He may seem a little childish but isn't that what it basically means? He would go home to cuddle and kiss his beautiful wife.

Lu Nai He laughed, there is really no need to test it anymore he thought because as long as it is about Xi Ana this man has already removed the word 'shamelessness' in his vocabulary.

After they exchanged a few more words Lim Yi Sheng finally boarded the plane.

It was not supposed to be like this, the initial plan was actually for him and Lu Nai He to go back together the day after tomorrow but last night when he talked to Xi Ana she said that her business in City M is most likely done therefore she would be back by tomorrow. This reason alone made him finish everything he needed to do.

This past month they've only seen each other once and that was when he visited her in City M that's why if there is a chance to see her sooner he would definitely do so that is why he took an earlier flight.

Being apart for longer time than this would drive him crazy of missing her.

---

Meanwhile in City M, the friends of four are currently gathered in the basement of Li Jingli's mansion.

"So you're going back tonight in City A?" An Qi Lu asked tenderly.

"Hmm.. you're going back to England tonight as well right?"

"Yeah."

"Ana." the mere mention of her name she could already figure out what he would say next.

"You don't have to say anything anymore, I understand. I will take care of myself and I will not try to take on everything by myself. I will also try not to worry you or Li Jingli anymore than this. I get it."

"You are always saying that but things like this still happens. Ana it's been years but that personality of yours never changes."

If there is a person who knows her best in this world it would be An Qi Lu, they first met when she was 8 years old while he was 11. They've been together for 19 years, that's a lot of time and that's also why his existence is something very special to Xi Ana.

"And your nagging also never changes."

"Ana." there was a hint of warning in the way he said her name.

"I know, I know."

Li Jingli then interrupted the two, "Don't scold Ana anymore, I'm partly at fault why this incident happened anyway."

"What are you even saying Li Jingli, it is my fault." Xi Ana retorted. She was the one who was kidnapped, how could it be his fault? If there is someone to blame aside from the obvious people who wanted to kidnap her it would only be her!

"It's mine because you're in City M, I should have protected you more instead of being lax."

"Do you own City M? Why are you so stubborn?"

And with that the round of self-blaming continued between the two until Fang Wenna couldn't hold it in anymore "Both of you stop playing this self-blaming game, you're already too old for that. It's my uncle's fault you know. Why do you always have to do this whenever something happens."

Seeing the annoyed face of Fang Wenna made her smile. Xi Ana knew that this side of her was only able to go out of its hiding shell whenever she's together with these three, she does not need any pretenses with them and it means so much to her.

Unconsciously, Lim Yi Sheng's face popped up inside her mind and she knew that in front of that man, from the beginning she also didn't wear her mask although there are still things she was not able to say upfront she knew that aside from these people in front of her who she had known for a long time Lim Yi Sheng is the only person she's been most honest to.

"Says the woman who cried like a baby." Li Jingli snorted half-jokingly.

"That was a shock indeed."

"Qi Lu can you please help me tie up these two? I want to teach them a few lessons!"

"I'm busy."

That short answer made Li Jingli burst into laughter, "If we are a family of four, An Qi Lu would be the father, Fang Wenna would be the mother, Xi Ana would be the older sister, and I will be the youngest child."

"You would have been the adopted one, Jingli."

"How could you say that, Ana? You're hurting my feelings."

This really felt like the old days, Xi Ana thought. When they were still living in England their days were filled with mostly things like this, bantering and playing around.

They could actually be divided into two groups. When it comes to exploring and trying things they've never done before, Li Jingli and Xi Ana would always go first. MEanwhile th other two would be the home buddies.

The two of them would even go as far as to try food sold on the street, even going to different cities to try out new fast food chains and everything. They've completely taken the opportunity that they are not well known in England to have fun somehow.

Xi Ana isn't an outgoing person, she's just a little better than the two and it's not like she would do those kinds of things if it is not Li Jingli she was with.

"That's enough playing around. Let's talk about some serious matters already. For now, we've finally settled Wenna's matters."

It's not like they stayed for a few days in City M to stay idle, what happened to her was not something they have to brood over for so long and so they've proceeded with settling the matters of the Fang Wenna and her company.

Aside from Fang Jianghu some of her relatives were also against Fang Wenna being the heir and they've also done all sorts of things to damage her reputation within the family, they've taken advantage of the three years she was away to smear her name.

Not only that, they even went as far as to create slash funds under the Fang Enterprises to steal money from the company that's why these past few days they've done a thorough clean up of the Fang Enterprises by weeding out threats.
