Chapter 91

“Take care of these people.”

Bai Hao called for the subordinates to clean up the werewolves that the magic fish had just thrown up.

“Will do.”

The subordinates always took the orders seriously.

Bai Hao didn’t make much comment about it and left.

Xi Que just gazed at the direction where Bai Hao left quietly and then left in a hurry.

She returned to the kitchen and continued doing the cleaning emotionlessly.

“My master, things will really be out of our control if you don’t act now.” Outside the kitchen, the voice of the chef suddenly echoed.

Xi Que paused what she was doing and pricked up her ears, listening to it curiously.

“The magic fish is evolving way too fast that it has already grown to the size of a cow. It’s going to be huge trouble for us if it keeps evolving like that. Are you sure that we don’t need to tell the Prime Family about this?”

The chef was asking for his master’s instruction in a panic.

“I’ve told you before that I have my own plans.” The man’s voice was cold.

“What is your plan, my master? They will raise an army of the magic fish if you keep leaving it like that. Please, allow me to kill Jiang Xiao now so that he won’t be our trouble in the future.”

“I’ve said it, I have my own plans.” The man’s voice became even colder.

“But, the thing happening now is growing beyond our control! Both of us will be dead if things go south and the people from the Prime Family question us about this.”

The chef reminded the man about how serious things were getting now.

The man fell into silence and didn’t respond to that; he ended up with giving out an order, “I’ll send out some support later. Your job is to kidnap Jiang Xiao and take him to my place.”

“Why do you want me to kidnap him, my master? Killing him is the right solution to eliminate the trouble!” The chef was bewildered.

“Who is the master again?” The man questioned him coldly.

The chef finally realized that his words were extra, so he apologized immediately, “I’m sorry, my master. I was too anxious! But I can’t really see the purpose of kidnapping him! Still, I suggest you kill him right here to spare all the later trouble.”

“He’s useful to me. My man will be waiting for you at the back gate thirty minutes later.”

And then he hung up the phone right away, leaving no chance for the chef to reject.

The chef was a bit angry, but he couldn’t resist the man’s order. After a moment of contemplation, he walked into the kitchen nervously.

Xi Que was already gone when the chef walked in.

About twenty minutes later, the chef walked upstairs with food in his hands. He rushed to Pei Siyan’s room and knocked on the door.

“Come on in!” It was Jiang Sheng’s voice.

“Coming right up.”

The chef processed his emotion and walked in right away. Seeing that Pei Siyan was not in the room, the chef let out a sigh of relief right away.

Jiang Sheng was stunned when he saw it was the chef coming, “What’s your business?”

“Oh! Mrs. Pei! Here’s the thing. I just made some dessert and I would love to let you have a taste of them, so I brought them to you.”

The chef walked up to Jiang Sheng quickly with a smile on his face.

“But I’m sleepy now. Can I have them later when I get up?”

“They won’t taste as good as now when you wake up.” The chef said it right away.

Jiang Sheng hesitated for a second, but he didn’t want to disappoint the chef’s kindness, so he agreed. “Okay then!”

He grabbed a piece of cake and took a bite of it. Just as he was about to look up and tell the chef how good it tasted, he felt a sudden pain on his nape and got knocked out of consciousness.

The chef carried Jiang Sheng on his shoulder and took his pastries with him. He broke out in a cold sweat out of nervousness when he walked out.

A while later, the magic fish came back. It swam into Pei Siyan’s room and checked around, but it failed to find Jiang Sheng.

‘That’s weird. I can still smell my master! Where is he?

Humph! That bastard Pei Siyan! It was he who threw me far away that I have to spend a lot of time swimming back here.

Where are you, my master? Come out and hang out with me.’

The magic fish was looking for Jiang Sheng everywhere, inside the box, behind the curtain, inside the toilet, under the bed. It was looking for him everywhere happily while humming, but it just couldn’t find Jiang Sheng.

‘Is he taken away by the bad guy Pei Siyan to somewhere for fun? Humph! You guys are villains for not bringing me with you!’
