“Why are you here again? Do you want to be grilled by me, aren’t you?”

Seeing that the magic fish return, Pei Siyan frowned with an affection plant in his hands.

A couple of minutes ago, Jiang Sheng said that he had left the affection plant downstairs and told Pei Siyan to take it upstairs for him. That was why Pei Siyan was not with him.

Pei Siyan was here alone, so the magic fish blinked innocently and swam quickly to the back of Pei Siyan, but still, it failed to find Jiang Sheng.

The magic fish swam back to the front of Pei Siyan again, and it swung its tail, “stood up” and questioned Pei Siyan, “Where is my master? Where did you hide my master?”

But since it couldn’t really speak, Pei Siyan had no idea what it was doing. That was why he slapped it to the side impatiently.

“Honey.”

Failing to find Jiang Sheng in bed, Pei Siyan thought that he was in the bathroom so he yelled to that direction.

But he didn’t get any response after a while.

“Honey? Where are you, my dear wife?”

Pei Siyan rushed over to check on him, but he still didn’t find him there. He then checked on the balcony, but Jiang Sheng wasn’t there either.

“What? Did he go downstairs to find me?” Pei Siyan was puzzled and he mumbled that to himself.

The magic fish was following behind Pei Siyan all along; it blinked its eyes adorkably and tilted its head, looking at Pei Siyan.

‘Is my master playing hide and seek with us now?’

“Did he really go downstairs?”

Pei Siyan rushed out of the door and went downstairs to look for Jiang Sheng.

The magic fish followed right up with a happy look because it thought Pei Siyan was taking it to Jiang Sheng.

But they were both petrified when they got to the first floor; they couldn’t find Jiang Sheng anywhere.

“Xi Que.”

Pei Siyan called.

Normally, Xi Que would come out the moment she heard Pei Siyan call her, but not this time.

“Xi Que?” Pei Siyan called again and headed to the direction of the kitchen.

But they also didn’t find her there or anywhere else.

It was not until then did Pei Siyan’s face go pale, he finally realized that Jiang Sheng was missing.

He could never imagine that would happen in the few minutes after he left Jiang Sheng, especially when it happened during the daytime.

“Bai Hao!”

Pei Siyan shouted as he rushed to the hall from the kitchen in a panic.

The magic fish tried its best to keep up with him. Seeing the panic in Pei Siyan’s eyes, it was clever enough to understand that its master was missing.

Bai Hao ran downstairs and was extremely shocked for he had not seen Pei Siyan being so nervous for many years.

“Jiang Sheng is missing! Send people out to look for him, everywhere inside and outside of the mansion. Hurry up!”

“Okay, I’ll call them now.”

Bai Hao’s nerves were all tightened up because of Pei Siyan; he didn’t even dare to breathe loudly.

“Shan Zihao? You son of a b**ch better be prepared for my revenge.”

Pei Siyan thought it was Shan Zihao who kidnapped Jiang Sheng, so his fury was aiming at him.

The magic fish was crying anxiously beside him; it was spinning like a top, swimming around helplessly.

‘My master…’

A few minutes after, Bai Hao strode back to the hall and reported the situation back to Pei Siyan, “We’ve looked everywhere and still couldn’t find Jiang Sheng.”

“What about the areas around the mansion? Have you guys checked those places?”

Pei Siyan’s fists were clenched together and his eyes were cold as ice.

“We’ve looked those places up; still, we couldn’t find him there.” Bai Hao looked down nervously for he was too timid to look at Pei Siyan’s face.

Hearing that, Pei Siyan’s fists were clenched even tighter, and the flame of rage was burning in his eyes.

“Mr. Bai, we just caught Shan Zihao’s subordinates at the backyard.”

The subordinates dragged two men to the hall rudely and threw them in front of Bai Hao.

Bai Hao was petrified for they were both human.

‘So this is the case! The werewolves were just here for a feign attack, and their real target here is to let the human sneak in to kidnap Jiang Sheng.

After all, the smell of human is not that obvious for Majins. That’s why we couldn’t find them right away.
