Chapter 69 - 28 - The Sceptile Girl

Name:Pokemon Pearl Author:Marc0702
A few hours after the comment by a community website, Rico was a bit anxious about what the people called him in the internet. Is this because of his encounter with Red Eye or of his actual features? This confuses the boy a bit, like a spinning bey, but he had figured out that both theories are true and make sense at all. So, he went downstairs and said to his mother, "Mom, I'll be going out for a while." Rosario, while dusting a lampshade, then noticed him, and responded, "Okay, son, be careful out there." After listening to her, Rico grabbed his Pokédex and Pokébelt and went out while wearing his said belt. It is, again as mostly usual, a sunny day, with Pokémon birds flying across the sky in packs, people mind their own business in homes, businesses, etc. and children playing with their Pokémon and toys in homes, streets, and on the grass.

Later, he was now walking in the streets in thinking. Though distracted, he managed to avoid and dodged the people in the busy street market. Later on, he bought some donuts for 100 Pokédollars and headed towards the forest for training of his Pokémon. Ash and Pikachu, however, are at Oak's lab visiting his Pokémon; Serena is at Martin's Steel-type gym to volunteer cleaning; Red was at Ash's house cleaning Ash's ninja weapons; Iris and her Pokémon are hanging out at the trees, eating apples and playing.

At the forest, once being far enough from the busy town, Rico called all of his Pokémon and they entered the scene in both happiness and seriousness.

"Alright, everyone, let's do our daily training," Rico said to them briefly while crossing his arms. His Pokémon then responded with confidence and determination. Rico then unfolded his arms and his Piplup was first to train.

"Piplup, use Bubblebeam!" Rico commanded Piplup in coolness. Piplup then used Bubblebeam, opening its beak and released a stream of blue bubbles, striking the leaves of a tree branch and knocked them off the branch. The leaves then fell to the ground, but it's just dozens of it, making only a small portion of the total leaves of that tree that had fell. Lucario and Litleo, watching them, then was responded in amazement.

"That was cool, Piplup," Rico commented in interested approval, "you had improved your Bubblebeam a bit more." Piplup then responded in cool seriousness. Piplup then resumed its training by repeatedly using Tackle and Bubblebeam as Rico and the rest watched in interesting and approval.

15 minutes later, it's Litleo's turn to train, but they had to go to the fields of plains not far from Pallet Town to avoid forest fires. There Rico told it, "Alright, Litleo, let's see your moves getting more improved."

"Lit!(Okay!)" Litleo responded in agreement while nodding a bit. It then towards an area where trees are absent and used Flamethrower, opening its mouth and scorched an intense blast of fire, and it reached almost 11 meters away. This amazes its trainer and its Pokémon friends, with Rico commenting, "Wow, that move got more stronger than before."

"Lucario(Yeah, it is)," Lucario responded in amazement. And then, suddenly, a wild Pokémon, Rhyhorn, bursted out of the trees and charged towards them in ambush. Upon turning around to see who's charging towards them, they got alerted, screamed, and ran as fast as they could. And as they ran in panic, Rico shouted, "Why it had to be us?" His Lucario then responded in desperate and panic. They were being chased by that aggressive Pokémon into the forest. After much running, they climbed up a tree and took refuge on its sturdy, thick branches. The wild Rhyhorn then tried to climb, but it seemed to guard them from climbing down. In desperation, Piplup and Litleo climbed onto Rico's head while Lucario hugged Rico's left arm in desperation.

"Hold on, guys!" Rico exclaimed in panic. He then hugged his Pokémon in desperation. But, suddenly, a Razor Leaf bursted into the scene and struck Rhyhorn very effectively. Because of this, Rico and his Pokémon lower their guard down and looked what happened to that wild Pokémon only to see a girl and her Sceptile standing in fierce and seriousness.

"Woah, who's that girl?" Rico said to himself in amazement. That girl, however, had black hair, a red, orange, and dark brown blouse, light pink skirt, a brass bracelet on her left arm, and a straw hat for the finishing touch. She also had a keystone for mega evolving her Sceptile.

"Sceptile, again, use Razor Leaf!" she commanded her Sceptile. Her Sceptile then used Razor Leaf, slashing the wild Rhyhorn with sharp-edged leaves, defeating it very effectively. Almost defeated, the wild Rhyhorn shook itself a bit and retreated back to the forest. Once that Pokémon is gone, the girl walked to the tree, and gave Rico a hand, telling him brightly, "Are you okay, kid?" Slowly accepting it, Rico climbed down slowly whilst holding his Pokémon with his right hand. Lucario then let go of Rico's arm and climb down as well. Once back on the ground, Rico said to the girl in positivity, "Thank you, kid." Lucario then responded with happiness.

"You're welcome, kid," the girl responded in positivity, "I'm happy to help you."

Later, she and Rico are walking in town with their Pokémon. And then, Ash, Pikachu, and Serena rushed towards them and asked Rico in mild frantic, "Rico, are you okay? I just heard you screaming. There is something happened to you?" His Pikachu then responded in asking.

"I got chased by a Rhyhorn," Rico answered in positivity, "but this girl and her Sceptile came and saved our lives."

"You're welcome," the girl added in positivity. Calming down, Ash replied, "Oh, I see. Well, thanks for saving my friend. I was too busy training with my Pokémon. Sorry, Rico."

"That's okay!" Rico happily retorted. His Lucario and Litleo then responded with happiness.
