Chapter 68 - 27 - Green Eye

Later by 3:46 p.m., Ash and the group are out in the fields of the hills to play and chat, along with their Pokémon. The sun was setting on the horizon, shining throughout the land.

"Well, what a day!" Rico commented in happiness. His Lucario then responded in happiness.

"Yeah," Iris happily added a comment, "I can't believe you could fix gadgets in such a young age." Her Axew then responded in happiness.

"Well, Rico, that was really nice that you could cook," Ash commented brightly. He then spin his shuriken in his finger. He then continued, "So, what do you think about my skills as a ninja?"

"That was so awesome and cool!" Rico happily responded while raising his left fist in enthusiasm.

"I can't believe you made it literal," Serena cheerfully added. Her Delphox then responded in happy saying.

"Yup," Ash happily responded. And then, suddenly, someone from the distance called him with a rising voice, "Hello, kid." Because of this, the kids and their Pokémon got alerted, stand up, and turned around a bit fast, only to see Red Eye and his team on their Z.Z. Flyers.

"Red Eye?!" Rico shouted in resentment. "You again?"

"That's right," Red Eye retorted in style, "And we're here to get my supposed to be mine Pokémon."

"My Lucario?" Rico retorted, "No! I won't give that to you! I loved it so much." His Lucario then responded in resentment and rebellion.

"Ugh, you're so annoying, kid," Red Eye responded with harshness. "Well, you shouldn't have rescued that Pokémon."

"And I wouldn't have started my Pokémon training, you know!" Rico shouted back.

"That's it!" Red Eye responded with anger and stress, "We'll do it by force!" Then to his grunts, "Attack them!" His grunts then responded by calling their Pokémon, two Vanillishes, and they stepped into battle. Ash then joined Rico, saying, "We'll help you with that." His Pikachu then responded in happy helping and determination.

"We'll never leave you behind," Serena added in determination. Axew then responded in determination.

"Alright then!" Red Eye retorted; he then called his Cranidos out and it stepped into battle. Ash and Iris then called their Greninja and Dragonite and they stepped into battle. Rico's Lucario then stepped into battle as well. And the sun shines through the land, the battle began.

"Alright, Lucario," Rico commanded Lucario in serious coolness, "Use Focus Blast!' Lucario then used Focus Blast, heightening its mental focus and unleashes its power towards the Vanillishes.

"Quickly, use Ice Beam and block it!" Red Eye's grunts commanded their Pokémon. In alert, the Vanillishes used Ice Beam, striking with an icy beam of energy, intercepting the Focus Blast attack, backing it away a few meters.

"Oh, no," Rico thought seriously.

"Cranidos, use Zen Headbutt!" Red Eye commanded Cranidos. His Cranidos then used Zen Headbutt, focusing its willpower to its head and rams towards Greninja in speed.

"Dragonite, use Dragon Rush!" Iris seriously commanded Dragonite. Her Dragonite then flew high and used Dragon Rush, and its body becomes surrounded in a light blue or with white streaks and releases a blue, dragon-shaped energy that covers its body. It then slams towards Cranidos, hitting and intercepting its attack. Cranidos then got launched back to its original position in pain.

"What?" Red Eye responded rudely, "Dragon Rush?"

"Woah, it's so powerful," Rico thought in amazement. Then to his Lucario in serious commanding, "Lucario, use Force Palm!" Snapping out from being attacked, Lucario used Force Palm, running up to Cranidos and puts its palm on it. It then fires a huge light green blast from its paw at Cranidos, striking it with great power, and Cranidos got fainted by its power, shocking Red Eye a lot.

"Wow, so cool and powerful," Iris thought in amazement.

"Alright, Greninja, let's power up!" Ash commanded Greninja in seriousness, "Lava Form!" His Greninja then transformed into its Lava Form, with the same position and pose due to their extreme bond, forming fire and lava designs all over its body and changing its type.

"What the heck is this?" Red Eye responded in shock and alert.

"Woah, son of a Charizard, he done that again," Rico thought in stunning. After transforming, Ash commanded Greninja in serious coolness, "Greninja, use Lava Shuriken!" Greninja then used Lava Shuriken forming a shuriken of lava in its hand and tosses it to one of the Vanillishes, striking it with great power.

"Delphox, Flamethrower!" Serena commanded Delphox in seriously. Delphox then used Flamethrower, pointing its wand at the other Vanillish and forms a red-orange flames at its tip. It then releases a red-orange stream of fire from the top of its wand at that Vanillish, striking it with great power. This shocks the bad guys a lot, and as the Vanillishes are weakened to the ground, Ash exclaimed seriously, "Alright, guys, let's do this together!" Then to his Greninja, "Greninja, use Lava Shuriken!"

"Lucario, use Focus Blast!" Rico commanded Lucario in coolness.

"Delphox, use Flamethrower!" Serena commanded Delphox in serious.

"Dragonite, Flamethrower as well!" Iris commanded Dragonite in coolness. Then, together, their Pokémon used the moves their trainers commanded, and their moves form a big, combined beam of power, striking the remaining opponents' Pokémon so much it produced an explosion and caused a little shock wave that blows with a diameter half of a kilometer, causing everyone to cover and shield themselves. Once the smokes clears, the two Vanillishes are fainted in defeat. Angered by this, Red Eye yelled in anger, and responded, "You meddling kids!" I'LL GET ALL OF YOU NEXT TIME!!! YOU'LL SEE!!!" He then called back his Cranidos, so as his grunts to their Pokémon; they then ascended up on their Z.Z Flyers and fled the scene.

Later by afternoon, at an intersection, Ash said to Rico, "Good job, Rico Titus, you had showed these guys your power." His Pikachu then responded in happy saying.

"Thanks," Rico happily replied. His Lucario then responded in happiness.

"You're such a great help to us," Iris brightly responded. Her Axew then responded in happy saying. And as the sun sets over the horizon, Ash said to Rico, "Well, dinner is gonna be ready soon. I guess I'll see tomorrow then;" he then parted ways with him and walked away along with Serena. Rico and Iris then parted ways with each other then split up to their homes in resting.

The next day, after breakfast, Rico was writing a commentary about yesterday's battle, when a notification in his phone rang his attention. He then checked it online, only to come across a blog post about Red Eye's encounter with him and others. One sentence says, '"Due to his multiple encounters with Red Eye, this Kawayan kid was called "Green Eye."' Because of this, Rico froze in shock, causing him to drop his pencil in frozen. His Lucario then asked him what, but Rico didn't respond at first, and then snapped out and said to it, "Sorry, Lucario, I got shocked because of a new nickname." His Lucario then responded in plain and semi-confusion.
