Chapter 121: Power of a King tier beast

"Emperor Level? Me? Now?" Rupture stuttered as he gazed at Lucien's back.

Thanks to the thick mana environment of Lucien's territory, it was sure it would enter the emperor level in two decades or more. The only way it could accumulate that much energy to prompt an evolution is if they can take down other king-tier magic beats and allow it to absorb their beast core. If it can do that, it should be able to rise to the emperor level in just a year.

Does Lucien plan to kill the king-tier magic beasts?

"Hehehehe! Are you sure kid? It will be dangerous and you may die! I must warn you, I may not be able to protect you" Rupture laughed bitterly.

Hearing Rupture's words, everyone present understood Lucien's intentions. If he succeeds he would be one of the very few contractors in the empire with an emperor-level magic beast as a partner! Instantly becoming one of the most powerful nobles in the empire since only a peak champion realm master or a demigod will be able to challenge his magic beast! Having such a thought, many shuddered and once again reevaluated Lucien.

He was someone with wild ambitions and with the more power he gains, the lower the chances of the empire being able to hold him down. They gazed at his back with complicated looks on their faces, not knowing how to react.

"I can't help you" Instructor Hai said boldly.

In normal circumstances, the empire would be joyous to have someone from the empire reach such a profound realm at a young age. If it were the old Lucien he would have readily helped but the current Lucien is an unknown variable! Someone, they don't know how to deal with.

He's completely unpredictable and not trustworthy either. Unlike the students, Instructor Hai knew why Lucien placed no teleportation formation within his territory. It was to stop the empire from entering and leaving as they pleased. In his opinion, Lucien was taking precautions in case he has a fallout with the empire and this showed he is not someone loyal. As someone from the ancient Wuxing clan, it will be considered a sacred crime if he helps such an unpatriotic person in his rise to power.

Hearing those words, Lucien's floating body tilted slightly and he turned his attention on the Wuxing instructor and his eyes within the mask revealed intense killing intentions! They were still within his territory so the towers lit up, gathering the mana around! Everyone could feel the air tremble badly as his power surged recklessly from all directions!

The city defenses were responding to their master's anger!

Instructor Hai's face turned terribly pale as he gazed at the silver-haired youth with the blue dragon mask. He never thought Lucien's defensive system would be so powerful! Even a spirit realm master will find it hard to survive a single attack from these towers!

Who the hell is this Lucien!

What the hell is this Rakuzen being he serves?

The intense power vanished just as soon as it came, causing Lucien to sigh. He didn't think this man would change his mind halfway, affecting his plan. It couldn't count as him breaking his word since he never agreed in the first place.

"In that case, I will have to bid the instructor Farewell… I and my partner will deal with the three King tier magic beasts alone… For that reason, I will not be able to attend the class training… These carriages will send you back! " Lucien said calmly but this time his tone all lacked all signs of respect. It sounded as if he was talking to a useless subordinate. The cold look in his eyes also revealed his disdain for the Wuxing instructor.

"No!" Instructor Hai blurted out causing Lucien to raise an eyebrow.

His mind was still in turmoil after the display of power he just witnessed.

"I mean… I still wish to carry on the training session in your territory… I hope you don't mind" Instructor Hai said hastily.

Hearing this, Lucien frowned badly. He could tell this man is scared of his defenses they why would he be willing to stay back and since they are not helping him, why are they still needed around? What is his true goal? To spy on him and evaluate his power?

"Do as you wish… Just don't get in my way" Lucien said coldly before shooting towards the clouds!

Rupture shot the instructor a cold glance before chasing after Lucien. Only after they left did the students and instructor Hai calm down. They breathed out a breath of relief before turning to look at each other.

"Lucien is scary" one of the students whispered those words. He was afraid the torrent would turn on him if he said it out loud.

Gazing at his stats Lucien was so lost in thoughts that he didn't know when Rupture arrived beside him and asked.

"What now? Do you plan to call it off?" Rupture said with a sad tone. It understood Lucien's plan after Instructor Hai spoke. He could tell Lucien wanted the instructor to keep one of the king-tier magic beasts away while he and Lucien handle the other two.

At its current level, it's not sure

Even Lucien was stunned, he never thought magic beasts experience such normal emotions like them. He shot his partner a meaningful glance for a short while before answering.

"We will keep moving… we only have to change strategy now… " Lucien said calmly with a frown.

"What do you have in mind?" Rupture asked with an excited look on their face.

As long as Lucien decided to continue, it means he is confident in his chances of succeeding

"Each magic beast colony is about 200 kilometers away from each other… The least we can do is kill off the first target as fast as possible and then wait for the other two to make a move… I am sure they are sure we are heading for one of them, they will all make a move… we can't afford to hold back!" Lucien said thoughtfully.

"Impossible... We can't deal with a king-tier magic beast so easily… do you really think you can one-shot a powerhouse at my level?" Rupture said while shaking his head.

"It doesn't matter… the worst happens, I will just hold off the two while you deal with the enemy… I just want to be sure you can deal with the enemy alone" Lucien said with a stern look on his face.

If he was going to risk his life dealing with the enemy, he had to be sure Rupture can win against another king-tier beast.

The Roc is an earth type magic beast with a low bloodline… the fact that the other king-tier magic beasts are yet to conquer it is because they are also low tier in bloodline…" Rupture said calmly before his expression suddenly turned serious.

"Are you trying to say a mid-tier bloodline magic beast like me can't deal with a low-tier trash?" Rupture asked with a frown.

"Good…" Lucien was not moved by Rupture's annoyed tone.

[Wind rider activated]

Suddenly a cloud of wind appeared beneath Lucien and Rupture

"What are you doing? I can fly without your help!" Rupture was a bit flustered but Lucien did not mind its strange reaction.

"I fly faster… speed is necessary if we choose to increase our chances of success" Lucien gave a simple explanation before he and Rupture turned into two beams of light and should towards the mountain ranges around his territory!

This is the territory of the king-tier magic beast, Abok!

Those below watched Lucien and Rupture speak for a while above before turning into two beams of light and shooting towards the mountain ranges not too far from the southern gate!

"They are really going? Did he really need my help?" Instructor Hai spoke with a frown. He assumed Lucien wouldn't be able to do it without him and that's why he refused to help. That way Lucien would be forced to give up the plan. Right now if Lucien can do this without him, it simply meant he has made a powerful enemy.

As much as he would have loved to interfere directly he knew it wouldn't be proper and if by chance Lucien survives, he will be executed by the empire for treason. Lucien is a noble and not anyone he can just mess with.

"Protected by the empire he seeks to destroy… This life is just too messy" Instructor Hai Lamented.

Meanwhile, the other students gazed at the directing which Lucien disappeared to. In their mind, if Lucien manages to pull this off, he will be acknowledged as the best member of their set!

"I have to get on his good side! No matter the cost!" Alice said as her sky blue eyes glittered.
