Chapter 120: Its time!

Hearing Instructor Hai's question and considering the calm look on his face, Lucien nodded in his heart. His suspicion was right.

Back in the dungeon, when they met Rupture for the first time, Instructor Emma was flustered. Even though she was at the peak of the mortal she was still terrified of a king tier magic beast, yet Instructor Hai who is also at the peak of the mortal realm heard of three king tier magic beasts and doesn't even look flustered at all. Instead, he looked a bit excited.

'Just as I suspected, noble family experts are way different from normal experts… Instructor Emma and Instructor Hai may be in the same realm but their strengths are not the same… If I must say, Instructor Hai should be at least twice as strong as Instructor Emma' Lucien said in his mind.

"Kill them? No… I don't need you for that… While the other students take on the general and soldier level magic beasts… I will deal with two king level magic beasts… all I need you to do is to make sure the third does not interfere… once I am done with the two, I will take out the last" Lucien said with a slight smile on his face but Instructor Hai was alarmed by his words.

He knew Lucien would bring rupture with him so he expected Lucien to ask him to deal with two king-tier magic beasts, but that didn't happen. Instead, Lucien asked him to only deal with one, meaning Rupture will take on one king-tier magic beast while he will handle the second king-tier beast.

A fourteen year old capable of handling a king-tier magic beast all alone! Only in the ancient families does such power reside!

"I must say, you are quite talented and the Wuxing clan won't have any issues working with you… Unfortunately, our race will always be their barrier between us…" Instructor Hai said while gazing at Lucien, he wanted to see if Lucien's facial expression would Chang when he talked about their Race.

In reality, many may say that Emperor Fei conquered the Wuxing clan but that's not entirely true. In the war, he only had the upper hand but to attain victory, his side will end up getting badly hurt as well. Only after he promised to create an empire where humans and Beast men are equals did they submit. They too supported the emperor's dreams and that's why they have solidly supported him all these years.

"What about it? I was betrayed by my clan… The ones who stood by me and watched over me during that time were the emperor and a human, Instructor Han… Although the human noble families of the empire are mostly responsible for my long stay in the dungeon… but then, the beast-men did not attempt to save me… a member of their own and the most promising one at that… In my opinion, race doesn't matter anymore… Anyone that treats me well... I will reciprocate the feeling" Lucien answered calmly and indifferently.

While Lucien's words seemed nice, instructor Hai picked up the hidden messages.

'Both the humans and beast-men messed me up… When the time comes, they will both be punished equally!'

'This kid sure is scary' Instructor Hai said in his mind.

He kept gazing at Lucien for a while before letting out a light sigh and asking.

"This is a class exercise but here I am, helping you and putting the lives of my students at risk… what do I stand to gain from this…" Instructor Hai asked calmly.

Hearing this a slight smile appeared on Lucien's face but at that time the carriages stopped. They have arrived at the southern gate. It was there he fought Rupture and felt the three eyes pinned on him.

"What do you gain? Let's just say I owe you a favor... I may be small now but in the future, I am pretty sure it will be worth the effort" Lucien gave the man a slight smile and walked out of the carriage.

He could see the other students have arrived and all of them had annoyed looks on their faces and Lucien could tell why. Normally, if he used the normal system of transportation that other members of the empire use, they could be here in just a second thanks to the invention of teleportation platforms! Carriages are outdated! They felt annoyed by the fact that they were forced to take a sit in a carriage for so long, unfortunately, they had no choice. This is Lucien's territory so they have no choice but to go along with the rules.

Unknown to these people, Lucien's way of doing things is just a means of defending himself in case something happens to the empire. With fewer means of reaching his territory, his chances of survival are higher!

Boom!

The brown comet that has been following Lucien's carriage finally smashed into the ground and Rupture walked out of the crater created by his descent. The king-tier magic beast looked annoyed but it didn't lash out on Lucien instantly. It knew Lucien won't dare pull him out of the city unless necessary. He walked towards Lucien with a straight face until he was practically breathing down on him before asking.

"Why do you call me out here?" Rupture's loud voice made the earth tremble alongside the heart of many but Lucien wasn't moved.

He turned his attention to those behind him and saw that instructor and the others were also waiting for his response. They were eager to know what Lucien's real intentions are and even after speaking to him in the carriage, Instructor Hai was sure he didn't get out all the information necessary.

Whoosh!

Lucien's eyes let out a bright silver light before he put on his mask and turned to the Rupture, looking up just to meet its ferocious gaze.

"I promised I will get you to emperor level soon… I am only fulfilling that promise…" Lucien said as his body slowly levitated off the ground.

His words left many stunned and even Rupture was stunned as well!
