Chapter 119: Killing two beds with one stone!

After the brief exchange between Lucien and the king tier magic beast, Rupture, the hearts of many were moved and they began to reevaluate their opinion about the young lord of this small clan. They thought they had seen everything he had to show but the moment they stepped through the gates their hearts froze! They felt the mana density in this place was far higher than what can be found anywhere. The entire city was no different from a cultivation chamber!

Soon their shock turned to fear! No one knew how Lucien was able to achieve any of this on such a large scale and in such a short period. They soon understood why Lucien put up an entrance fee for people who wish to enter the city and even then they could only stay for a short while. They soon realized why even though many complained of Lucien extorting money from his fellow citizens of the same empire they still had no choice but to pay the fees and come over!

Using his forging skills alone and his cities special quirks, he generated funds that could rival the income of large clans in the empire. Many began to realize they have underestimated this kid! His resourcefulness and ability to create the impossible is not something a wise man would overlook easily. They couldn't help but wonder why the empire is yet to force Lucien to spill his secrets since it's something that will benefit all of them. Unfortunately, they knew nothing about Lucien's deal with the empire.

In exchange for his loyalty and services, he will be allowed to reveal only what he chooses to reveal.

Back then, the nobles laughed at this since they couldn't help but wonder what sort of secrets could a kid this age with no background have. By the time they finally got to see all of this, they were urged to break the deal and force Lucien to share his secrets but they also remembered Lucien's threat!

They remembered vividly when he boasted of being able to escape the empire even if the emperor is after his head. The last thing they would want to have is a youth like Lucien to go rogue and turn against the empire. Should he share his secrets with one of the three great empires in exchange for their assistance in getting revenge on the Fotia empire, then the consequences are unimaginable!

No one could deny that this little fourteen-year-old youth was practically holding the entire empire hostage.

They took various carriages bearing the Rakuzen banner on them, taking them towards his castle. On their way there, they noticed the huge blue serpent dragon located at the center of the city, leaving them stunned. The aura exuded by this statue alone was enough to make Instructor Hai shudder in fear. He gazed at Lucien sitting opposite him with his eyes shut tight and the Wuxing instructor couldn't help but wonder why Lucien brought them here.

Back in the academy, he declared they would embark on a few days of training in the wild and Lucien suggested he had the perfect location near his territory.

Right now he couldn't help but think, Lucien was bluffing and just wanted to show off his territory to him a member of the Wuxing clan!

"I have a few questions" Instructor Hai said calmly with an indifferent look on his face.

Upon saying those words, Lucien's closed eyes opened up lazily as if it was reluctant to and he gazed at the man coldly. Looking at his eyes Instructor Hai felt no hatred, no love, no fear, no worry, just indifference!

"Go ahead…" Lucien only said those two words like nothing else.

'This kid has reached such a level at a young age… Incredible' He said in his mind.

"All of this… your clan defenses… they are beyond what anyone has ever seen since the creation of this empire… I was told it took you seven days to set all these things up and entirely transform the town… How did you do it?" Instructor Hai leaned forward and asked.

Hearing the question, Lucien let out a slight smile and then leaned forward

"I apologize... But this is my advantage over others, so I can't reveal any information based on this" Lucien said calmly.

Hearing this, the instructor frowned. He expected this answer but he was hoping for something more.

"It can't be helped… and here is the second question… Can you replicate these defensive formations in another place?" Instructor Hai asked.

Gazing into his eyes Lucien knew what he was thinking. If he says yes, the next thing Lucien would have to deal with is rejecting the man's offer to replicate these things in the Wuxing territory. Unfortunately for the instructor even if Lucien can do this he is lacking empire points so it wouldn't work.

"My grade 1 sealed artifact is quite different from what people think… I acquired numerous abilities and quirks through it…. Unfortunately like other sealed artifacts, there are certain limitations placed on the user… for now, I cannot use this outside a place regarded as my territory… Sorry, but I cannot help you…" Lucien said, causing the instructor to return to his original position and wonder why Lucien borough them here?

He didn't look like someone who had the intention of showing off his strength and hoping to get the recognition of others.

"Then why are we here" Instructor Hai asked calmly.

"For the training… What else?" Lucien said with a playful smile.

He leaned back and shut his eyes for a while before speaking.

"When I was awarded this land I was warned about the powerful magic beasts that reside in this area… I had no reason to fear… even if it were a king-level magic beast, I can still deal with it…" Lucien paused a bit and let the instructor digest the first part of the information.

"When I got here, I realized I was not dealing with just one king tier magic beast... But three… The funny thing is that they are all watching… once I make a move against one, the other three will strike.." Lucien said calmly.

"So you want me to help you kill them?" Instructor Hai asked with a raised eyebrow.
