Chapter 118: Wuxing Instructor

A moment ago Alice could tell Lucien was flustered but just a second later, he turned cold and calm. She could tell with a glance Lucien is not someone she can easily sway and talking further was of no point so she calmly nodded her head and looked away. The class remained noisy until the teleportation formation on the podium lit up and from a man emerged.

He is an average-looking man with dark skin, a heavy build, and a broad chin. His ash-colored pupils gave him a mysterious look, and even though he wasn't overly handsome, he had this mysterious air about him that got the ladies eager to get closer. This man wore a gray robe with firm collars. He looked more like a scholar instead of a fighter and this left many doubtful of his capabilities since no one could sense any sort of aura from him.

But while many looked confused a few members of the class instantly cupped their fists and bowed respectfully. Only a few noticed this movement and Lucien was one of them. He instantly spotted the members of the Wuxing clan and when they did this, he guessed the identity of the Instructor.

"He must be really capable to have come from that clan" Lucien said with a raised eyebrow.

"You can tell his identity?" Alice was shocked when she heard Lucien's comment. The Wuxing clan has always been the secretive type that has always kept a low profile, even many noble families have only seen their representatives but never the upper echelons of the clan. So for Lucien to recognize it in one glance could be considered amazing.

"Just a guess… A very good one" Lucien replied calmly while gazing at the man.

The instructor seemed to have noticed his cold eyes and turned his attention towards Lucien. The moment their eyes met a heavy aura sped towards him trying to suppress him but when faced with it, Lucien could only sneer and reveal a grin filled with contempt. After his dance with the members of the creed and a few other spirit realm masters, did this man really think he can suppress him so easily? He has fought for so long and met more terrifying foes, why would the aura of a mere peak mortal realm expert cause him to tremble in fear?

Lucien's voice was not particularly high but to transmitted into the ears of everyone in the class, even the instructor was stunned. They soon noticed the instructor and Lucien had their gazes pinned on each other and based on Lucien's comment, they quickly assumed the instructor tried to suppress Lucien but he failed.

Seeing the silver-haired youth, seating majestically with his chin resting on his palm, they couldn't help but gulp down a ball of saliva. Even Alice who was sitting beside Lucien turned and gazed at him and for a moment, she was stunned by the youth's good looks. At that very moment, she felt like she was meeting Lucien for the very first time.

"Ooh? Lord Rakuzen I presume?" The Wuxing instructor asked with a hint of amusement in his eyes.

"Hahaha! It is an honor to meet one of the esteemed members of the ancient Wuxing clan… The pleasure is mine" Lucien cupped his fists and greeted respectfully.

The Wuxing clan is so vast and powerful, no other clan apart from the royal family can match them in strength and resourcefulness. Should the emperor and his Hayata clan ever fall, it is an absolute fact that this clan would produce the next emperor would be the Wuxing clan! This is a clan Lucien had no intentions of crossing any time soon.

'I am not arrogant enough to face that clan yet' Lucien said in his mind with a smile on his face and a bead of sweat rolling down his forehead.

The instructor gave Lucien a meaningful stare before nodding and turning his attention to the rest of the class. The introduction was short but shocking! Instructor Hai of the Wuxing clan had no intentions of letting his class rot within the safety of the academy. In his opinion, the strength of a person is sharpened through countless battles! In his opinion, the cultivation base of these kids may be high but they are no far worse than Lucien who has been at the jaws of death countless times and that's why he greatly appreciated Lucien.

The class left the academy and headed out of the empire through the western gate. To find a good training spot, they had to get past Lucien's territory.

The teleportation formation available to the public was located just a few hundred meters outside the walls of the Rakuzen clan territory. Forcing people to make it to the gate on foot.

Many had only heard of the excellence of Lucien's territory that far surpasses that of the other noble territories but they have never seen it. Appearing far from the territory, they were forced to advance with mounts and after a few minutes of traveling, they finally reached the gates.

Since Lucien is the sole master of this territory, the gates yanked open on their own leaving everyone stunned. There were no guards on the walls or the gates but to their greatest surprise, they were sure that if they made one false move, they will be obliterated by the magic tours around surrounding the territory!

The gates yanked open and when they moved in, they felt an incredibly beautiful vicious aura shooting towards them! The aura was so intense even those considered geniuses amongst them couldn't help but tremble!

Could it be a powerful magic beast breached the defenses and made its way into the small territory?

Countless thoughts ran through the minds of many and even Instructor Hai could help but feel uncomfortable. They only had to wait for a few seconds before the massive figure of the rupture magic beast came into view. It was like a massive meteor descending from the heavens! Its speed was so fast and threatening, many thought it would attack, even Alice had silently prepared some defensive spells.

"Enough! You are scaring our guests!" Lucien's cold and detached voice echoed in their ears.

Before they couldn't react, everyone saw Lucien's figure shoot towards the magic beast and from his body, a massive silver orb appeared. This silver orb soon took the shape of a massive Azure blue serpent dragon, clashing with the magic beast head-on.

Roar!

The loud cry carried a powerful shockwave that blew the blue dragon back but Lucien kept approaching! The magic beast threw a punch forward and Lucien reacted by throwing his palm towards the mighty rock fist!

Has he gone crazy!

He's going to catch the punch with his hand!

Peng!

Many screamed out in shock but the greater shock came when Lucien clashed with the magic beast and was sent flying back but he managed to halt the advance of the magic beast!

Bang!

Lucien's feet struck the ground hard as he tried to regain composure but couldn't help sliding a few meters back, only stopping when he was directly in front of the students.

"Ouch.." Lucien said calmly as he shot his bleeding right hand and frowned.

When his faceless spirit beast was blown back he recalled it and used its power to protect his hands, while trying to block Rupture's attack. He expected it to go numb but he didn't expect to get hurt this bad!

Roar!

The spirit energy gathered around his fist flew out and once again took the shape of a blue azure serpent dragon, hovering over Lucien's head.

Seeing it the first time was amazing but seeing it up close was even more breathtaking. Everyone watched in awe as Lucien calmly leaped up, landing on the head of the Azure Dragon and gazing at the earth magic beast with a slight smile on his face. He summoned a blue dragon mask from thin air and put it on, giving him a more oppressive aura!

"Are you done playing around, Rupture?" Lucien's voice sounded neither happy nor sad! But it had a threatening tone.

Lucien dared threaten a King tier magic beast?

Could this be the power of the new Baron of the empire?

This is the power of a spirituality cultivator?

"Hahaha! I guess I hit the right spot… I was only testing out my strength… This town of ours is really great for cultivation! My strength has increased a lot since I got here! It's only a matter of Time before in reach the emperor level!" Rupture laughed heartily and treated the guests like air! His focus was solely on Lucien, making it look like the others did not exist!

Everyone gaze at Lucien's back with amazed looks, even Alice found Lucien extremely attractive at this moment. He may be lacking in terms of cultivation as a mage but his spirit cultivation can be considered impressive! The only member of the empire to possess dual cultivation pathways!
