Chapter 181: Death of an Emperor

Derik suddenly shot into the sky to break away from the encirclement but a bolt of black lightning followed him tightly!

"Think you can run? Think again!" Lucien appeared as the avatar of the Raizen god spirit and the mighty Argo shot out of his body, chasing after Derik!

[Wind blades activated ]

Following the notification, the Argo let out a loud screech as it released countless wind blades, meanwhile, The Raizen god beast avatar also let out a loud cry before releasing a lightning storm!

[Storm of Raizen activated!]

It was a lightning storm from above and countless wind blades from below but Derik kept laughing recklessly, like a crazed beast with his Lycan partial transformation still active!

"When was the last time I have had this much fun? When!!!!" Derik laughed out loud as his aura expanded beyond his body taking all the hits with little or no effect!

The clouds began to gather as countless hurricanes and tornados infused with bright blue bolts of lightning ensured. Within this Zone, even Countless bolts of lightning struck the skull-shaped barrier relentlessly as the hurricanes and tornadoes smashed into it relentlessly. The zone covered close to fifty meters!

Even Emperor Fei, Instructor Han, and the Wuxing clan head were forced not to get caught up in this dangerous technique!

"Powerful!" Emperor Fei commented with an excited expression on his face and the others nodded in agreement. The entire capital stopped their fighting and watched the battle going on above and even them couldn't help but admit that this spell was powerful enough to send the average spirit realm master in an instant! They couldn't help but wonder how powerful Lucien must be to cast this but unknown to these people, Lucien was stunned as well. There is so much he doesn't know about the system now and since he has never really gotten the chance to check things after dealing with the Raizen clan, he could only watch things play out.

The skull-shaped dome could only last for so long before exploding, revealing a figure dressed in complete silver bone armor attire with a green cape on his back and his hands were the death scythe. The bolt of lightning and the tornadoes occasionally smashed into him but even then he didn't move from a spot.

[Golden reach activated]

The two birds cried out loudly as they both turned into two beams of golden and silver light shooting towards the dark knight above!

"Hahaha! I accept your challenge!" Derik laughed as he made a one-eighty-degree turn and kicked the air, shooting down, turning into a darkish green beam of light!

BOOM!

Upon collision, the two birds fell off the sky without offering any resistance at all! They kept descending until they suddenly turned into beams of light, shooting into Lucien's body! Only then did the terrifying storm stop, leaving everybody stunned.

"What just happened?" Lucien muttered the question on everyone's mind.

How was his beast associations permanently defeated?

[Argo can not be summoned now]

Lucien also noticed he could not even use their abilities, this made him gaze at Derik's imposing figure in fear!

Just who the hell is this guy!

"Even my death magic cannot permanently destroy those beasts? What kind of power does the celestial being have to override mine?" Derik muttered as he gazed at Lucien but he could clearly see the massive blue reptilian eyes behind Lucien!

"Your power is mine!" Derik said as he raised his death scythe but then another bird cry reached his ears, getting him irritated a bit!

Cawwwww!

It was like a massive flame the shape of a mighty Phoenix, charging towards Derik and the emperor was within it! His body had strange orange markings all over it, giving him an intimidating look that will make many tremble but Derik didn't even consider using his death scythe this being. He gently stretched his left hand and waited for the Phoenix!

"I DARE YOU!" Emperor Fei growled seeing this as an act of disrespect!

BOOM!

The Phoenix smashed into Derik's hand but to everyone's greatest surprise, Derik didn't even move. The struggle master for a while but even then the Phoenix couldn't move Derik! Seeing this many found it hard to understand how a small man could pin something that large with one hand! The Phoenix couldn't even break free from his grip!

"You will kill me? You don't have the ability! Let us see if you can take a strike from me!" Derik said as he raised his scythe while still holding down the massive bird with one hand.

"NO RUN!" Lucien growled but the Emperor refused to flee from an invader!

"Bring it on!" Emperor Fei roared as the flame surging around the Phoenix intensified twofold but Lucien and Rakuzen knew it was if no use!

They could only watch in horror as Derik hacked down, releasing a massive wave of darkish purple aura that instantly split both the emperor and the Phoenix in two without any resistance.

"No!"

People of the royal family who saw this were stunned and terrified of Derik at the same time they wished they could fly but they were already surrounded by the enemy forces! The powerful clans of the empire had gathered together and only the Lightborn clan and Wuxing clan were left to support them, keeping them in a difficult position.

"Huh?" Derik had reduced the emperor's body to ashes but then he saw a human-sized blazing egg, leaving him stunned. He frowned slightly as he tried to approach but a black bolt of lightning appeared in between them, causing Derik to frown.

"He is not dead yet?" Derik asked coldly but Lucien remained silent

The duo kept gazing at each other for a while and finally, Lucien sighed and turned his back, gazing at the Wuxing clan head and instructor Han.

"Take the emperor, leave this place… Help your forces and suppress the enemies… I will take care of this" Lucien said calmly, making Derik raise an eyebrow.

He has lived long enough to see so many foes in his old life and even before he turned eighteen, everyone who heard his name was terrified of him in his world. Gods heard his name and fled, seeing they had nowhere else to run, they gathered and fought him, yet they lost but this kid dared look down on him casually.

People of this world do not know his name and that annoyed him. he hated the fact that these people treated him like air. Although Lucien has not always been the most cool-headed person he wasn't the type to flare up recklessly either. His eyes within the skull helmet let out a green flash as he took a step forward before speaking.

"And who said the emperor can leave?" Derik asked as he tightened his grip on the death scythe in his hands.

Lucien first gazed at those hands before he looked at the masked face. His eyes let out a bright blue light as he responded.

"I say he leaves… Do you dare stop him?" Derik asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Let us find out then!" Derik said as his body shot forward.

Before reaching Lucien he vanishes and appeared at the other side of the egg with his death scythe raised and killing intentions surging out fiercely in his eyes but then his body froze as he realized Lucien was gone as well!

"In this bone armor, you are much slower" Lucien's voice reached his ears making him shiver.

He looked over his shoulder was no longer than the same kid he had just spoken to a moment ago! Lucien's skin was now reinforced with any blue dragon scales, he had a dragon spear in his hands, and on his face was the azure blue dragon mask, giving him a terrifying presence!

"Vanish!" Lucien growled as swung the spear fiercely, producing scorching blue flames as it moved!

Bang!

Derik expected his bone armor would be able to take the hit as it has down to all his attacks in the past but when his waist was struck by this spear he felt his bones shift!

Boom!

Derik was sent flying like a comet by the attack leaving many stunned! They gazed at Lucien and realized the youth was literarily breathing out steam. Without wasting time Instructor Han quickly created a spatial gate next to the egg and Lucien gave it a gentle push and watched it roll into the spatial gate. Vanishing instantly!

No one knew where Instructor Han sent the egg but putting into consideration the fact that a spatial zone is in place, people knew it would be close by somewhere but Derik did not know of this!

"Kid!..." Instructor Han called out to Lucien.

"Good luck," He said after a while. It was clear he wanted to say more but chose not to.

" You can leave this to me… I will put him down, here and now!" Lucien growled as his eyes glowed fiercely!
