Seeing this Lucien frowned and wasn't pleased. While the ability could be considered his trump card and it is a way he can use the power of Rakuzen safely without having to hurt himself like before when he got the grade two sealed artifact, soul cauldron. But he hated the fact had to rely on Rakuzen to use this mode and also he hated the fact that the time limit is short! Against a monster like Derik, this can be fatal for him!

His eyes drifted to his hands that were just as hard as a rock with the bright blue dragon scales on his hands and his new intimidating aura, Lucien was sure no one under the champion realm could compete with him now. At such a young age this can be considered miraculous!

"All I have to do now is survive this, Kill you and save the emperor and things will return back to normal!" Lucien said closely as he saw the figure shooting towards him fiercely!

[End it fast!] Rakuzen warned!

"I know!" Lucien said as he crouched and leaned forward slightly. His eyes brightened considerably as he took in a deep breath!

The sound caught people's attention and when they turned around they literarily saw the wind surging into Lucien's body fiercely as his belly kept expanding!

AZURE DRAGON ROAR!

Lucien spat out and what looked like a sea of terrifying blue flames surged forward towards Derik, covering the whole sky!

"This is insane!" The other clan heads screamed in fear as they watched the massive surge towards the beam of darkish green light but even then Derik showed no signs of stopping!

"Defeat me? survive this and life returns back to normal? Impudent child! When the god of death comes into your life, nothing remains the same!" Derik growled as he held its death scythe and it began vibrating ridiculously as his death aura surged into it!

"Death scythe: Alpha!" Derik's voice had lost its anger instead it oozed with confidence as he swung the death scythe horizontally, releasing a wave of darkish green aura surging forward!

BOOM!

Both attacks clashed and even though Lucien was still spitting out the bright blue dragon flames, Derik's death aura was pushing his dragon flames back and at a point, it even began cutting through it shooting towards Lucien but even then he didn't panic.

Whoosh!

Lucien charged to the side to evade the attack but then Derik's figure was already there, brandishing the death scythe at him! With no choice, Lucien quickly readjusted his footwork as he parried the attacks sent at him. With each attack strike Derik released waves of death aura so Lucien had no choice but to deflect his attacks repeatedly! Those watching from below, watched Lucien take countless attacks but he didn't retreat! 

Derik is a Lycan and has the strength of a werewolf but his foe had the backing of a real dragon and has even become a pseudodragon. His physical capabilities were by far higher than the death god who has been reduced to the level of mortals by the world! In reality, Lucien surpassed Derik in physical combat. While Derik had no form of training whatsoever in martial arts and always relied on his werewolf instincts to fight like a savage beast, Lucien had practiced and mastered numerous martial arts fighting styles and has even created his own martial art style! In this aspect, Derik stood no chance against him!

This was the opening that Lucien was waiting for as he managed to disarm Derik. In an instant, his stance changed and bolts of black lightning could be seen surging around his draconian body as he took a deep breath and said those words.

"Haya-ken first form: Lightning speed fists!" Lucien growled but this time, it wasn't his fists but all that power the spear in his hand!

The spear was surging with blue dragon flames and black lightning as Derik attacked ruthlessly! His eyes flared up with power as he created over a hundred images of the spear with a single thrust stunning people! But what was even more stunning was that Derik was capable of dodging them all while retreating steadily!

His death scythe appeared in his hands as countless spear images rained down on him, forcing him to retreat while Lucien pushed on. 

"I am getting pushed back?" Derik muttered as he struggled against Lucien.

He could barely see the spears raining down on him, making it hard for him to block but then something unexpected happened. Usually, Lucien aimed for his head but suddenly the trajectory of his attack changed and his spear struck Derik's right shoulder, wielding the death scythe!

"You are finished!" Lucien growled as he let go of his spear and it began spinning and blue flames began surging within Derik!

"Shit!" Derik growled but it was only too late as an explosion occurred and from the smoke above, Derik's hand fell to the ground with chunks of his flesh from his shoulder!

The dragon spear shot into Lucien's eyes and when he activated his spirit vision, he saw Derik within the smoke breathing heavily! He had lost one hand and half of his face had suffered severe burn injuries. Seeing this, Lucien frowned and couldn't help but ask Rakuzen how the hell this guy is still alive!

[He has an immortal body that cannot be killed by conventional means… The injuries he sustained before coming here may be from the Life gods, his weakness and that's why he didn't die but now, I added my godly creation authority to your attacks, preventing him from healing but that doesn't necessarily mean you can kill him like this!] Rakuzen said
