Seeing this Lucien's eyes widened with shock as he considered how much effort was put into the crafting of the magic weapon that served him for so long yet it was completely destroyed in an instant!

"DERIK ANGUS!!!!" Lucien growled ruthlessly as he clenched his fists blazing with black lightning while his body turned dark as he activated the hardening skills of the Abok magic beast

"Haya-Ken First form: Lightning speed fist!" Lucien growled as he released over thrift punches in a second, releasing numerous images but the grin on Derik's face only widened!

"You dare call my name? Bold! Very Bold! I Accept your challenge kid!" Derik growled as his claws were consumed by his death aura as he threw them forward, matching Lucien's attacking speed!

[Fool! He has the power of death, to rot and decay whatever he touches, that's how the Habakiri was destroyed!] Rakuzem screamed but it was already too late, Lucien had already gone too deep to pull out!

With each strike, they created a shockwave that left many stunned and after what seemed to be a minute, both sides retreated with confused looks on their faces. For Lucien, it was because he used the phantom fists and attacked Derik's soul directly. Punching it repeatedly was like a man going to the foot of Mount Everest and punching it repeatedly with the hope of making the mountain crumble. His soul was far too strong and what was even more terrifying was that there wasn't even one soul in there.

While battling Derik, Lucien got a glimpse of his soul, only to see two powerful souls suppressing millions of souls within! None of it made sense but that's what it is. Putting aside the fact that Derik has two major souls, what he couldn't understand were the lesser souls within him. Doesn't that mean he must have killed millions and consumed their souls to get to this level!

"He is the real monster here" Lucien said with a bitter smile on his face

Meanwhile, Derik was stunned by what just happened. he had expected his death aura to reduce this kid to dust in a matter of seconds at most. Within the fight, he finally found out the secret behind everything! He realized that reason Lucien was able to go this Far and achieve this much at such a young age.

"The power source within you… It's not a thing but a person… am I right?" Derik asked with a raised eyebrow as he gazed at Lucien's body which had no injuries on their body.

Rakuzen had used his aura to create a small veil around Lucien to protect him from Derik's decay ability but Derik noticed this. With each time he struck the light veil, he saw the pair of blue reptilian eyes hidden in the darkness! At that moment he realized that this is no power source, it is a being far the level of a realm protector!

It was a celestial beast!

"And what if it is? Do you think you can take it from me" Lucien said as the tattoos of all the beast assimilated began glowing fiercely!

"Against you, I can't afford to hold back... I apologize but I will be going all out right now!" Lucien with an indifferent look on his face as his aura exploded surging fiercely as it created the Ying Yang sign behind him, making Derik chuckle lightly.

"Hahahahaha! Do you think that you are my opponent?" Derik simply took a step forward and his darkish green aura exploded, taking the shape of a laughing skull above his head.

"Alone? No, he is not your opponent, unfortunately, he is not alone!" An old scrawny voice reached their ears.

At that moment that space around them tore open and from the two spatial corridors, instructor Han and the Wuxing clan head appeared unleashing their aura's while standing by Derik's sides but even then Derik still wore an amused look on his face. But then as he was about to speak he felt a powerful aura erupt behind him!

If he were at the demigod realm or a higher realm he wouldn't worry about this aura but for a mortal, he could tell this person was extremely powerful. Derik turned to see a red-haired youth dressed in a black sleeveless mage robe approaching. With each step, this red-haired youth took the ground beneath his bare feet melted. His fiery orange aura took the shape of a mighty phoenix.

"Be it a god or a man, the moment you invaded my Empire you are doomed to die at my hands… You will not leave this place alive… Your disciples narrowly escaped… You won't be as lucky as them!" Emperor Fei stood behind Derik while he said these words.

Knowing the identity of the true identity of Derik, the Lucardo clan head had already informed the other clan heads to retreat. They have done their part in the coup, the rest is up to Derik now. The best they can do now is make sure no one interferes in the fight that is about to go down right now.

"I really hope you survive, little bird" The old man stood atop a building gazing at Lucien with the same mischievous smile on his face.

"My lord! The Lightborn family and the joint forces of the Royal family and the Wuxing family are breaking through our lines of defense… They are led by the prominent figures of each clan... The other clan heads are badly hurt so they request your assistance" A man in dark knight armor said while kneeling.

"Okay, okay! Lead the way" The old man responded with a smile.

Hearing what the emperor said Derik frowned. How dare a mortal speak that way to him! If these people knew everything he has gone through, they would understand they are not qualified to be his opponents! If it wasn't for this god vein suppressing his powers and the injuries he sustained from the gods of this world, they won't even last a second against him.

"Mere mortals dare talk smart against me? You all will lose your bodies and souls here!" Derik said coldly.
