Adonis sighed a breath of relief as he changed back into a chibi jellyfish. Ariana grabbed Cayden's hand and they both stood up. They first looked at each other then Ariana looked out to the crowd. "I don't care what you do after this. Hate me, follow me, run from me, whatever, it's all your choice. I've made mine." Ariana said flatly then turned her gaze to Loralei. "Do you have strength?" She asked with wavering eyes.

Loralei nodded her head before she waved her hand elegantly across the air. A purple light appeared underneath Cayden and Ariana. "Wait!" Mrs. Jenkins shouted but Ariana didn't wait, just as the light swallowed them Ariana gave the old woman a warm smile before completely disappearing.

Ariana let out a sigh of relief as she looked around the grounds. "I thought my," Ariana mumbled but was instantly interrupted when she saw Roderick running towards them. "Ariana!" He shouted as he rushed over, his sandy brown hair swaying. "Roderick?" Ariana asked in confusion. "Youn' Miss! You're safe!" He gasped as he got closer but then he hesitated. 

Ariana saw the fear reflected in his eyes and groaned. "Roderick.... I, I can explain." Ariana stuttered. The others never saw her in this form, she always stayed hidden and there was only a select few who knew about the garnet blood flowing through her veins. "W-w-what happened to your Lumas?!" He shouted as he pointed behind her.

Ariana's jaw dropped. She stared a Roderick in utter shock and couldn't recover until Rahul laughed. "Cough, cough, sorry, I didn't think that's what you would ask when you first saw me." Ariana replied awkwardly. "Oh, righ'. The Madam has already inform'd the staff abou' your unique situation." Roderick said with a small, awkward cough. 

"Of course she would." Ariana sighed. "But youn' Miss, I thou't you were suppos'd to have wings?" Roderick asked. "We should go inside it's not safe to be outside." Cayden replied as he wrapped a single arm Ariana in a protective embrace. "Move." Vasu joined in as he and the other Lumas changed back into their chibi forms. "Apologies!" Roderick shouted as he robotically turned around and started to lead them back towards the Mansion.

When they got close enough the doors flung open and everyone was spilling out. All of the staff, Edlyn, Xander, the members of the Crimson Rose gang came out, Roland and to her surprise Rin. "Rin?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE!" Ariana shouted in a high pitched voice. "Grandmother sent a letter. You disappeared and I couldn't sit still." Rin explained just as Roland pushed through the crowd and stepped in front of Ariana. 

"Where have you been?" He growled as he looked down at Ariana, half his face was shrouded in darkness and a murderous aura was surrounding his body. "I," Ariana started but she could barely make eye contact with him. She felt horrible it was her fault that Tillie died needlessly. Roland raise his hand and Cayden caught his wrist. Both men stared each other down but no one flinched. "I'm so sorry Roland." Ariana said as crystal clear tears flowed from her eyes. 

"I'm sorry Roland, I can't even, sniff, I just want, sniff, I loved her too." Ariana said as her tears flowed down her face. Roland pulled Cayden forward and pushed him aside. He then threw his arms around Ariana and hugged her with everything he had, his own tears flowed.

"You silly girl! Tillie would have done it all over again to make sure you were safe! And now look at you! Your wings are gone, you look like you've gone through hell and back and just for what?! There is more chaos in the City and I, we were all worried sick!" Roland shouted. Ariana buried her face into Roland chest. She couldn't face anyone, not with her plan in mind. Soon enough more arms wrapped around her and Roland.

After a moment every started to pull Ariana into the mansion. Excited and worried voices started to drown her ears but she didn't care, she couldn't hep but feel a their love and concern. Even Leigh was showing more expression on her stone cold face while Xander was holding Edlyn back from topping Ariana over. "We're leaving!" Cayden announced over the voices and no one really paid him too much attention. They were still firing a hundred questions a second at Ariana. 

"I mean Ariana and I are leaving." Cayden said louder causing everyone to stop talking at once. They all looked at Ariana and waited for an explanation. Ariana sighed before she looked at everyone. "Where's Talisha and Halina?" Ariana asked instead. "They're coming, something happened at the school and the whole area is under lockdown." Sheena explained. "And my grandmother? James, Roy and Sterling?" Ariana asked.

"Roy, Sterling and Zula are back home. I got the guild to watch over them." Rin replied. "No! Deagan is working for Lord Romanoff!" Ariana shouted. Rin's face paled instantly. "He wasn't there when I asked for their help but...." Rin said as her eyes shook with fear. "Loralei!" Ariana shouted. "On it! Everyone move!" Loralei commanded. Everyone took a step towards the wall while a magic circle appeared. "No time to lose." Loralei said as she grabbed Rin and took her away. "The others?" Ariana asked.

"Th'r' was a terrible fire. Seems the Rebels attacked down town." Roderick explained. "So she left to lead the soldiers. You must have missed her by a few minutes." Roland finished while Roderick nodded his head in agreement. Ariana nodded her head in understanding. "Alright, well you see the stuff down town was me....." Ariana started.

After Ariana was done explaining everyone was dead silent. "So is that why you're leaving?" Edlyn asked pitifully. Ariana opened her mouth but she couldn't say a single word. She closed her mouth instead and just nodded her head. Suddenly a high pitched wicked laugh echoed within the mansion. "Is that all it takes for you to show your true self?" A female voice asked. A purple light lit the floor and Loralei rushed out. "Ariana there's trouble!"
