"Ha! She already told you her message before, get stronger, live for your own betterment then help your fellow man. Don't blindly believe in things, witness for yourself, search and discover what you want to do." Vasu spat like venom to the people. The crowd started to whisper and mumble furiously and Vasu couldn't help but curl his hands into fists. A small sniffing sound came from behind him and causing him to look back. Ariana's eyes started to shine with a dull light and tears pulled in the corners.

"After you have made your choice...." Vasu continued after letting out a small sigh of relief. His gaze softened and he relaxed a bit. A small smile spread across his lovely face as he watched Ariana a little longer. "I should have done this sooner." He whispered to himself before turning back to the crowd. His smile still in place, gaze full of love and affection, the look caught the crowd's attention and the tension disappeared. 

"Ariana, all of the Lumas and her knights will step forward and protect the land that the Goddess of Creation has made here. I won't lie, there will be some casualties and there will be many victims but if you place your faith in what YOU believe in there will be no regrets!" Vasu said with conviction that many were turned speechless.

"Vasu..." Ariana called out as she reached out and caught his hand. Vasu's eyes grew wide with surprise but it was soon replaced with pure happiness. "Please do not feel burdened by today. I, we will never hold anything against any of you."

"You are the innocent and should be free to choose your own fate. Leave here, go back home and collect what you can, Lord Romanoff will not let any of you live, you've witnessed too much and will become a threat." Ariana said sorrowfully as she looked at the crowd.

"I am so sorry that you were involved in my selfish plans but I can no longer stand ideal while he is abducting your friends, family or loved ones. If you believe that I owe you more for what happened please look for my grandmother, the Countess Drake, I will leave her funds to give to anyone who is looking but do it within the next 24 hours. After that I will be making sure that she leaves this City along with everyone I love and hold dear." Ariana announced.

She then pulled Vasu back and let go his hand and stepped in front of him. "I will be fighting the up coming war that Lord Romanoff has declared. I will fight to free you from their grasp and free the people they have locked away. This I promise as my mother's daughter!" Ariana announced with a flame blazing deep within her eyes. 

The crowd didn't now what to say. Some had turned to their neighbour and exchanged looks of worry while others mumbled to themselves. Ariana let out a small sigh before giving the crowd a weary smile. "Well good bye then." She said just as a rock came flying and struck her on the forehead. The crowd gasped as everyone turned to look at the person who dared to throw the first rock.

"Monster!" A young lady shouted as tears brimmed the corners of her mad eyes. Beside her was a young looking boy who cradled a small pile of rocks. The crowd took a step back as if afraid to be associated with the pair. The woman reached out to grab another rock from the boy, she pulled back her arm and with the full amount of her strength she flung another rock at Ariana as she yelled out "Monster!" once more. 

Vasu moved slightly as the other Lumas took a step forward but Ariana swung out her right arm and stopped them from moving further. Another rock hit her then another and another. Tears were streaming down the young woman's face as she continued her assault. "Connie what are you doing?!" Old lady Jenkins said as she finally pushed her way forward and stepped in between Ariana and Connie.

"Do you even understand what you are doing?! This child just saved all our lives!" Mrs. Jenkins shouted. Connie gripped the rock in her hand and started to laugh hysterically while the young boy beside her bared his teeth and glared with murderous intent. "Is that right?! It looks like the old bag has finally gone senile!" Connie shouted as her gaze connect with the elderly woman.

"I think you may have misunderstood something. See, the way I see, is that a MONSTER caused all of this mayhem! If she didn't gather us do you think those people would have showed up?! Do you think a war would have been started?! Do you think those people who were called to the market would have died?!" Connie shouted like a mad woman.

"Connie..." Mrs. Jenkins said softly but Connie shook her head then pulled back her arm again. "Do you think I wouldn't feel anything when I watched my older brother die because of this monster's familiar?!" Connie screamed as she flung the rock a Mrs. Jenkins. The crowd gasped, Ariana appeared in front of Mrs. Jenkins, she had caught the rock in her claw and looked at Connie with utter disappointment.

"You can do whatever you want to me but to the innocent..." Ariana said as she looked back. To her surprise some of the Templar knights had taken a stand to protect the old woman. Ariana flashed them a small smile before turning back to Connie. "I will never stand still." She continued as she crushed the rock with ease. "Just you wait. One day my brother's life will be avenged." Connie hissed.

Ariana looked at Connie as the bell on the clock tower in the city rung midnight. The sound sounded eerie as it echoed through the air. "I will be waiting." Ariana said before she turned around and walked past the Templars, Mrs. Jenkins, Vasu then all her Lumas until she stood in front of Cayden.
