47 Sakura

Ignore what the woman on the big leather sofa said, she asked one of the servants.

"Mary-chan, did father did not return home yet?"

"Risa-sama, Master Igarashi-sama still not home yet." She replies with a slow voice while lowered her head. Afraid that she might be scolded by the Madam.

"Hey, didn't you hear what I said?" Igarashi Saya stands up furiously looking at Risa.

Turn her head to the woman, she says "I'm sorry? Who are you? Are you my family? Because I don't remember that I had an evil mother or sister like you."

"You!!" She grit her teeth.

"Welcome home, Master Igarashi-sama." one of the butlers greets a man who just walks out from the luxurious car.

Startle, both of them immediately change their expression.

"Honey~ welcome home." Saya went to her husband and wrapped her hand around his neck.

"I'm back." His voice sound firm and that's makes Risa divert her eyes.

"Hi, dad." She greets him and took her luggage to the stairs.

Looking at his daughter, he releases his wife's hand and went to Risa.

"Saku...Risa...When did you return?" His voice change to soft a bit.

"Just now. I'm tired and I need a rest. Good night." She went upstairs without looking at her father.

Igarashi Kenji sighs a bit. He shakes his head and loosens his tie a bit.

'Why would I want to call her Sakura? She's Risa Ken..wake up.'

"Honey~ the servant already prepare us the dinner, let's eat." Saya still clinging to him.

"Daddy, you must be tired right? After we eat, I help you to massage your shoulder, okay?" Saya's daughter from her previous marriages, Erika, said with a cute voice.

"Erm..thanks." He smiles at her and went to the dining hall with his wife and step-daughter.

"Mary, can you ask Risa to went down and eat with us?" Saya says to the servant.

"Yes, ma'am."

"Mary," Kenji said to make the servant stop her pace.

"If she doesn't want to, don't force her. But please do bring her dinner to her room, okay?"

"Yes, master."

The servant went upstairs.

"Honey~ you're too soft with her. If you keep doing this, she becomes ruder and rebels you know.."

"It's okay. She has a right to be mad. Maybe she despises me so much." He looks at the rice bowl and suddenly a glimpse of memory returning back.

'Ken dear..don't waste your food.' a soft voice from someone makes his heart hurt a bit.

Knock! Knock!

"Yes?" Risa went to the door and open it.

"Miss Risa-sama, your father asks you to join them dinner at the dining hall." Even talking, the servant will lower their gaze.

"Uh...I don't feel hungry yet. Tell them that I already eat and need a rest right now."

"Yes, Risa-sama. Please call me if you need anything." She bows her head.

"Thanks, Mary-chan" She smiles a bit and closes the door. She went to her bed and sit at the edge of it. Looking at the frame on the bedside table, she sighs.

"Why did he betray you, mama? If only he's faithful to you.."

The woman in the picture frame on the bedside table looks exactly the same as her feature. Except she looks a bit soft and mature than her.

"Honey..I'm going to sleep now.." Saya says to Kenji with a soft and spoils voice.

"Hmm..go first." He just replies with a lazy voice. His mind is now in a daze.

Not replying to him, she went to their bedroom and sleep. While Kenji stays at the balcony, relaxing on a rounded rattan swing. Staring at the night sky.

A flashback starts to come one by one. Starting from the first time he met with Sakura in his university days.

A flying camera drone he uses to capture the beauty of the lake suddenly broke down and fall on the water.

Just when he wants to go and get the drone, suddenly a splash sound makes him turn his head around.

A girl with a long and wavy hair jumped into the water, within a minute, she gasps after pop out from the surface. With a smile, she shows him the drone that she catches.

"I found it. It's yours right?" She swims to the side and gets out of the water. Her dress is drenched and she smells like a moss.

"Er, Thanks. You are?" He takes the drone which is already drenched with water and based on the look, he was sure it's already broken.

"Sakura." She smiles and after she said it, there's a wind blowing and the sakura's flower from the nearest cherry blossom tree falling near them.

Looking at the flower which now falls near them, he nods his head. "Ah, yeah..it's now in April, so Sakura here is a bit pretty than the front gate."

Smiling at him, he gets her bag and her flat shoes before she goes to the walkway. She wants to go back to her dorm, changes her clothes and go to the next class.

"Err…wait.." He follows her from behind.

Turn around, she looks at him patiently.

"You didn't tell your name yet..and what course are you take?" He scratches his temple a bit. Feeling a bit embarrassed.

Chuckles, she points her finger to the Cherry blossom tree.

"Huh?" Kenji makes a confusing face.

"That's my name. And I'm in the medical course. I need to get going now. See you again." She smiles and went to the female dorm.

That is the start of their meeting and not long after, he keeps seeing her in her department and even waits for her to finish her class.

They been a couple after three months and officially engaged when both of them graduate.

Sakura went to Imperial City and start to do her charity work for two years before she opens up her own clinic at the north town in Calestical City.

Just after one year, she running her clinic, they got married and stay as a long distance marriage. She will only come back to Japan when she had a long break. Because of work and his HQ is located in Japan, he can't just simply move everything to Imperial City.

He also often fight with her about this matter. Her passion is her work, she likes to treat people and gave them equal medication especially among the old citizen no matter if they are rich or poor. Thus, Kenji bought a piece of land and built a huge mansion for her so that can she still live as a Madam of Igarashi at that moment.

Even though she did not earn much, but the feeling of seeing them happy makes her happy too. While she was busy at Calestical City, Kenji makes a quite impressive achievement with his business and was quite famous back then. Saya is his assistant, the rumor about him having an affair with Saya reach Sakura in Calestical City. She was pregnant at that time.

She went back to Japan. Knowing that she might abandon her duty as a wife and that makes him change his heart for another woman, she wants to make things right between her and her husband.
