46 The Princess Already Home

Xue Mei and Xui Li went back after 4 pm, Xue Mei needs to make dinner before her mother and father return home, thus she takes off early from the hospital after visiting her little brother.

Once they arrive at the village area, Xui Li could see a few villager's teenagers playing at the paddy field, and some of them went back home with a hoe behind their back.

"They look free in here." He murmurs and Xue Mei heard that.

"Yeah, in here they don't need to face the crowded like in the city. They can go to work depend on their own time and return when their work's done."

Tilt his head to her, he says "I like it here."

"Mhm? Then find someone from this village and marry her." She was joking around but to Xui Li he was serious.

"Yeah..I've been thinking something like that too."

After they arrive at Xue Mei's home, she immediately went to the kitchen while Xui Li noticing her grandmother sitting at the hut near the paddy field.

"Good Evening grandmother Su." He greets her and went to sit beside her.

"Oh! Evening. Did you just come back from the hospital?" She asks and then smiling at him.

"Yeah. We visited Zhao Lin."

"Huh? Shao Lin? Who is it?" She scrunches her eyebrow.

Chuckles a bit, he said again with a slow and clear voice. "Not Shao Lin, but Zhao Lin."

"Oh…." She nods her head.

"Is he okay? That boy rarely comes home. Only once or twice a year. Poor that boy to be born that way." She looks a bit sad when talked about him.

"Grandma Su should not worry. He looks rather happy when he saw us earlier. We talk a lot."

"That's good, that's good. He doesn't have any friend. All that come to the hospital soon will be return back to their home. That is why he does not have any closer friend."

Xui Li did not reply anything to her. He knows it must be hard for Zhao Lin. He didn't go to school and only live at the hospital. He also did not have any friend. His view is limited and only see the same thing every day. That's why Xue Mei always sends him a drawing and he heard from her mother that Xue Mei will teach him every time she returns from school.

That's what makes her doesn't have time to go and enjoy her teenagers love life. With all her sides, he falls in love with her again. He could only remove her from his heart for about a month and that feeling arose back, even bigger than before.

Jiang Ying Yue wears her evening cocktail dress. She was ready to go to the launching event.

She checks her dress and makeup for the last time before she goes downstairs. She thought that she will be going alone, but to her surprise, Ren Zhi already suits up and waited for her at the downstairs.

"What took you so long?" He asks.

"Erm...I just check on my makeup." She replies to him and went to the car.

"Well, whatever you wear is look good on you. You should be grateful to be born beautiful you know."

"Heh..did you also said the same thing to your girlfriend?"

"Well...She's different." He smiles a bit.

"Why? Did her not pretty?" She chuckles a bit. It is true that his girlfriend this time really different from the last time. She looks childish and so immature. Sometimes, she looks rather like a tomboy.

"No..she has her own beauty. Well, anyway. Let's not talk about her for now. It's your day, tonight. So I should go as your fiance and accompany you until its finish."

Meanwhile, in North Calestical City, Xue Mei's family were having dinner together at the dining hall.

Since grandma eagerly wants to see her show on the television, they keep the television on while eating dinner.

"Xui Li, eat more vegetable." Ming Yi put the choy sum vegetable to his bowl.

"Thank you." He smiles and eats his portion. Wang Wei also put the chicken braised on his bowl.

'Erm, I'll be fat if I stay here for a few more days.'

"Ah! I heard this restaurant serve good tasty food. I wonder when can I go there and eat before I die.." Shen Lin Su said after she saw the news about a grand restaurant now opening a new branch on the television.

Xue Mei and all other divert their eyes to the television.

Upon seeing the couple on the television, her chopstick falls from her grip.

"Eh Xue Mei..eat properly." Ming Yi said to her daughter.

Xui Li divert his eyes back to Xue Mei, seeing her reaction.

"Oh! Erm, sorry. I was dazzled by that man's face. So handsome." She giggles and smiles to her mother before she picks up her chopstick on the table back.

"But he's already taken...See..that is his fiance.. look at yourself, you just look like a broken bird. Ha-ha~" Her grandmother teasing her.

"Granny, you see...I will bring this man home later..just wait and see~ ha-ha.." She mocking her back.

"Ey, Xue Mei..don't talk nonsense. Hurry and eat and then help me in the kitchen." Ming Yi shakes her head seeing her daughter talk like that to her mother-in-law.

Xui Li chuckles at the side. 'Well, she surely was composed and cool huh?'

"Who talks nonsense..that's my boyfriend there.." She murmurs and as a result, her father pinches her cheek.

"Why would someone's fiance be your boyfriend? Cut the crap."

"Ouch!" She rubs her cheek and pouted a bit.

Turn to Xui Li, she says "Xui Li, tell them that he is my boyfriend."

Xui Li smile looking at her. "Yes, he is your boyfriend."

The way he talks did not convince her family at all.

"Oh..good, good...I raise up a homewrecker then." Ming Yi plays along with her.

"Mom…."

"Ha-ha.." Her grandmother also mocking her.

"Xui Li!!"

"What? I already told them." He shrugged his shoulder and continue to eat again.

"Welcome home, Risa-sama." The servant greets her once she arrives at her family mansion.

She did arrive early but she decides to stay at the hotel before she went home. She needs all the courage to face her family.

Get off from the car, she looks at the servant who lines up and bows to her.

"I'm home. Raise your head and continue your work." She said with politely and went to the grand hall.

Inside the hall is there's a woman in a middle-aged looking so elegant and there's also a woman who's in her aged dress up like a Lolita.

"Ah~ the princess already home eh?"
