Chapter 604 - Vol 8: Ch 604 – Not a CA Entertainment artist anymore

Danni didn't do anything after hearing the M'dols discussions since she still needs to renew her contract first or else it will be going to nothing if she started to attack them, especially Rei and so she waited for the day of her Contract Renewal before attacking her.

June 07 arrived, so both she and her assigned Manager got a message from Management for her contract renewal discussion without knowing that it's her end. Along with her reluctant Manager, she arrived excitedly since she's going to renew her contract then kicking out Rei and get back with Tae. She stops walking when she notices her reluctant manager.

"Hey, why are you being so gloomy? Oh, right you always said to me that I'm not going to renew my contract since that bitch is the Artist Manager and she's the great asset of CA Entertainment, but looks who's the winner now, it's me and not that bitch Manager."

"Yeah, yeah you win and since you think you are the great asset of CA Entertainment then please make sure that you are going to request to have a gold manager in your hands and not me who you only as your slave and not your Manager"

"Hey be grateful and at least I give you some of my income when in fact you did nothing"

"I did nothing huh"

"Yes you did nothing and you are just my Manager in the name so don't think highly of yourself"

"Yes, yes I did nothing, and let's see if you are still the super international Star if I'm not at your side. I did nothing because I only manage your schedules and accept what's right for you. I did nothing because I only manage to accept the best choice and you are the one who's working your best"

"Hey, did I just hear a complaint from you huh? I pay you by managing my schedules and only that because it's me who did my best not you so don't be ungrateful to me now." 

"Yeah indeed but that's not what the contract stated"

"Huh, so don't tell me you want the 15% share from my income even you didn't do anything at all and shut up your mouth right now before I sue for being a manipulative manager"

"A manipulative manager, don't you mean you a manipulative artist to her assign Manager?"

"I said shut up your mouth" then kicking her right leg from her pointed heels. The Manager just silently feels the pain while c.a.r.e.s.sing it to ease the pain. "Don't overreact because I didn't hit you hard and lucky for you that my husband still not teaching me the right technique or else I already witness your body flying away after my kick".

'Why am I assigned to this witch? Why Manager Rei is not yet around this time when the moment Managements appointed this watch for her assigned Manager? And most of all, why did M'dols Woo accept this witch confession during that time? Did he not notice that she's only on her white lotus mode?' The Manager just wondering on her mind and at the same time c.a.r.e.s.sing her right leg since it still hurts. 

"Hey, why are you not following me?" Then she followed while limping "you don't need to act because you're not an actress after all"

A few minutes later, they arrive at the Legal Councils' office and everyone is there except Rei since she's now on leave. Right away, Danni's white lotus modes switch on.

She knocks on the door patiently and heard come in from inside so she opens while greeting them "good morning everyone and am I late?"

"No, you're not late since you're on time"

"Eh, you are?" She didn't recognize her since she's only eavesdropping at that time.

"I'm Lina, the Artist Director of CA Entertainment and this is Atty. Kei, the Head Legal Counsel of CA Entertainment, and we joined here 10 years so mostly you didn't meet us"

"Ah, I see and that's why I've seen new faces" then she notices someone missing "eh, where's Artist Manager Rei?"

Lina retorts right away "how rare, you already know whose Artist Manager Rei is when in fact she's just celebrating her first year anniversary here last January, I guess you know her personally or more worst you have some personal grudges on her, so which one Miss Li?"

"Eh, what do you mean Artist Director?"

"Oh pardon for my rudeness Miss Li and so take a seat now"

"Ah, yes thank you Artist Director"

"So before we proceed to our discussions for today first let me know aside from me and Atty. Kei, who else from our group you didn't recognize for?"

"I know everyone Artist Director and so since our Artist Manager Rei is not here, who is the one going to appoint me for a new manager?"

"Oh, you want a new Manager?"

"Yes"

"Why, you didn't like your Manager? Did she didn't do her job as your Manager then?"

"No I like my Manager but she's getting married and she wants to resign so that's why I need a new Manager"

'What the heck? And since when did I become an engaged woman who's going to get married, most of all I really want to resign but you didn't approve of it, this witch is really a witch' 

Everyone from the Legal Council is now aware of her breaching the contract but they are not aware of how Danni mistreated her Manager so now everyone is now looking at the Manager's expression and only to see a pale face of her, so Lina stands up right away and approach.

"Hey, are you alright Manager Ban?" 

"… [Didn't expect that the Artist Director is kind and stutter replied to her] e----eh, oh, I'm okay A--- Artist D—Director L---Lina"

"You're not fine at all since the moment you arrived you've been holding your right leg" right away Lina lift up her pants and indeed she's injured since it's still bleeding. "See, you are injured" 

Danni looking at her threateningly in everyone's blindspot but she can't fool Lina who's a former high-rank officer.

"I'm fine Artist Director Lina and I just bump to a sharp edge before coming here"

'What a great an excuse to protect her artist' "Ah, I see and so everyone before discussing Miss Li's contract let me escort Manager Ban ...…" Lina got interrupted.

"I'm alright Artist Director Lina"

"No you're not alright at all, it's bleeding you know"

"But...."

Lina got it "I see and I won't escort you to the clinic so let me treat your wound, okay?"

"Eh...…" Manager Ban got cut off by Lina.

"Indeed I'm the Artist Director, Manager Ban but it doesn't mean that I will ignore someone who's in pain and injured just because of my position and I'm also a human being but not a heartless human so let me treat it not just because I'm the Artist Director but because I'm a human being, okay?" Lina said while getting the medicine on the first aid kit then treating Manager Ban's right leg when she nodded.

"You look like a mother, Director Lina"

"Thanks, Manager Ban, and now it's done" right away Manager Ban crying for the first time after being bullied by her artist for more than 10 years. "Hey, why are you crying?"

"N----no I didn't" Manager Ban deny right away.

"Heh, I see, and don't tell that Miss Li here didn't treat you kindly instead bullying you?"

Danni interrupts right away "sorry to interrupt Artist Director Lina but if I'm bullying my Manager then she won't be my Manager for 12 years, right?"

"You have a point Miss Li but Manager Ban is an employee of CA Entertainment and not personally employed by you so what if Manager Ban only staying for 12 years because she is a signed employee of CA Entertainment, right?"

Danni's real face almost exposed "What? I --- I mean...….."

"Just kidding Miss Li and you just need to relax if that's not true since I only assumed. Alright, let's discuss it now."
