Chapter 603 - Vol 8: Ch 603 – Contract not renewed 2

After making sure that everyone is already out of sight, Lina calls her father's attention.

"Mr. Hwang"

"Yes, and what's wrong?"

"To my office and also call Atty. Kei presence"

"Okay and so, how about Manager Rei's presence?"

"There's no need for her after all she's will be on her Maternity leave next week and I don't want to trouble her after all it's very hard to send your husband off"

"Okay and what time?"

"Right now"

"..." Mr. Hwang got speechless but he didn't wonder where she gets it since both he and his wife are also like that because they don't want it to delay so the only thing different is Lina like to play along since she will feel bored if it's not challenging enough and that's why she pursues the criminology course knowing it's a life-threatening career because it does have a lot of risky mission and that's also why Lina is not so different from her elder brother Lin because he also like a risky mission but not totally a life-threatening career.

A few minutes later, the three of them are now inside Lina's office and after seating down, Lina said it right away.

"I need Artist Li Danni's contract"

Mr. Hwang didn't ask why and he only asks this one "is there something wrong with Ms. Danni?"

"Uh-uh and so I need to review her contract first"

Without asking anything, Atty. Kei retrieves the copy from his laptop and printed a copy before giving it to Lina. "Here, Director Lina"

"Thanks, Atty. Kei" then reading the said contract while Mr. Hwang and Atty. Kei just waiting for her. After an hour, Lina just already done reading everything from the contract and so she said to them meanwhile at the same time highlighting some of the said contracts. "Okay, so from clause 4.2.1 it's stated in here that you can't eavesdrop on your co-CA Entertainment discussions if you're not part of it unless you just happened to pass by in the middle of the discussions and you just leave as if you didn't hear anything, right?"

"Yes you are right Director Lina and since you mention it now, don't tell me, Miss Danni, violating it?"

"Indeed she is Atty. Kei and so now, here from clause 1.2.5 which stated that her contract is good for 12 years which happened to expire this coming June 07 but then why I didn't hear anything about her since the moment I've become the Artist Director?"

Instead of Atty. Kei, Mr. Hwang is the one who replied to her "it's because she's been active in T Country after becoming famous in here rather the right words is after she's done naming herself as the International Superstar"

"Okay and thanks for that Mr. Hwang, so it means she's been active for 12 years?"

Both answered in sync "yes she is"

"And she got back here must because to renew her contract, right?" Both nodded in sync.

"Okay and since she's been active for 12 years so it means her 30% of income has been forwarded fairly to her manager and agent which is us, right?"

"...…" Both didn't reply since they are not sure if Dannie forwarded it fairly.

"Well, I guess I just need to ask the Accounting Department since it's stated from clause 2.5.6 that the said Artist which is Li Danni must forward the 30% of income to her Assigned Manager and the Agent equally so now my main concern is how she is related to the M'dols Team?"

"....." Atty. Kei didn't answer since he starts joining CA Entertainment 10 years ago when he is still 18.

"Mr. Hwang, I guess you need to answer it since I joined here almost the same time with Atty. Kei but not so active like him since I'm still an officer that time, so how she is related to the M'dols Team?"

"She was Tae's ex-girlfriend"

Atty. Kei got surprised "eh?"

While on the other hand, Lina just happened to know the reason why she's eavesdropping knowing it's breaching the contract "heh, so that's why and for sure she's still in love with Tae." Right away her challenge mode switch on "he, he, interesting"

"Hey, are you plotting something, Director Lina?"

Agreed without hesitation "yes Mr. Hwang and so right now you just need not do anything instead you are just going to observe as a CEO of CA Entertainment while your subordinates pulling the weeds. Alright, Atty. Kei contact from the J Country if this Miss Li here have another contract aside from us since it's also stated here from clause 1.1.1 that she must not have another contract from another company while she has an existing contract from us. Of course, we will do it secretly after all we are not aware of what she's planning, okay?"

"O-----okay Director Lina" Atty. Kei got goosebumps because he is now assured that Danni has some guts to challenge the Artist Director who happened to be the next CEO of CA Entertainment and this is why he didn't court Lina because of her scary personality. Though both Lina and Rei are his goddesses then he did courting Rei only got rejected by her and both his goddesses are pretty and smart but the only difference is Rei have a kind personality while Lina has a scary personality just like this one yet the two of them is not easy to handle with because they are both have a strong personality and very independent one not like with his Xie since she also has a strong personality but very dependent to him so now he just realized that luckily he falls in love with Xie and very fortunate that he is not the man from of his two goddesses.

Lina senses that Kei is now looking at him and so she asks half-jokingly "what and don't tell me you fall to my charm?"

'At first, indeed I am' Kei wondering while answering different thing "not a chance Director Lina after all I already have a girlfriend"

"Oh really and are you sure?"

"Yes Director" 'since it's in the past that I secretly admire you and nobody knows that one even Xie doesn't know that one.'

"Ah, I see but then you also fall to Rei's charm, right?"

"Eh, how did you know that one? D----did Manager Rei tell you that one? No, knowing Manager Rei she's not that type to reveal it so how did you know that one?"

"Nobody told me and I just know it based on my observational skills so did you already tell it to Miss Xie?"
