Chapter 407 - Taken 2

The news about Wallace being taken by the alien quickly spread everywhere. 

They have to find a way to rescue him as quickly as possible. If he was successfully brought to the Imperial Flagship, it will become harder to rescue him.

However, the problem is that none of them can even find their whereabouts at the moment!

They know that it will take time for him to be sent to the country of Guwain but they can't do anything about it!

Percival and Hayden were already exhausted fighting the enemies while Grand Arcanist Slaine was still being treated at the medical facility.

The other Grand Sages and Grand Arcanists, on the other hand, are protecting the leaders of this country and some major locations that they can't just leave without any protectors.

There are also others guarding the border of their country in case of another invasion.

Perhaps, they could ask the other three Mage Battalions on standby. However, they know that the strength of the Terubs is so powerful that it could content against Mech Frames, so the least they could do was to send their Blaze Spaceship carrying their hundreds of Steel Knights to rescue the young man.

[ Negative. Rescuing Wallace in your current situation will just endanger everyone. There's already a group of Automatons and Mech Knights on the way to rescue him. You just have to know that he won't be able to help or provide any advice for now. I'll also be handling all questions related to the operations that will be taken from now on. ]

"I see…" Troy nodded after hearing Avalon.

It seems that Wallace left a reliable secretary that will continue with the operation even if he's gone.

They haven't confirmed the casualties at the moment but there are definitely hundreds of Steel Knights that were destroyed and pilots that are killed today.

On the other hand, the Adept Mages and other soldiers had also taken huge casualties. They have to quickly treat them especially those who were critically injured by the Khrusam's Death Energy. 

Apparently, their power has the essence of corruption like a poison that would slowly deteriorate their bodies.

If they faced that more than three thousand Bio-Armored Imperial Soldiers and over two thousand Mech Frames at the beginning of the war, it wouldn't end well for them.

"This is not good… We should've brought Magicians that could wield the Sealed Mana Artifacts." Percival muttered after seeing the situation of his men.

At the moment, these Sealed Artifacts were being hidden by the government as they have incredible powers that could kill the magicians that will use them.

Aside from that, only those at the peak of Adept can use the weakest Spell that the Artifact can release. 

So if they wanted to not waste its power, they have to use Sages or magicians above their level.

"Do we have enough forces to rescue him?" Ace asked calmly. He was trying to analyze the situation. 

He knows that Wallace made a contract or something to the Celestial Being, however, he couldn't tell their agreement so he's unsure whether he should ask for the Celestial to interfere.

For now, he wanted to see what they can do to help his other body.

"Ugh… Most of our elite forces were still on the way to the Conqueror Starsh.i.p.s. We don't have enough forces aside from a few Mech Knights and our Satellite-Class Artifact that is orbiting the planet."

"Leader, we also received a report that the remaining force of Seiji is making their move. They already realized that someone annihilated their forces. For now, they are suspecting that it was done by the countries outside of their alliance."

One of the staff reported. 

There are also suspicious reports about the event that occurred in Montego. Though they have defeated the Black Sovereign into retreat, the event that occurred afterward was quite dubious and requires some thorough investigation.

Ace is planning to attack the Imperial Flagship using their remaining force.
