Chapter 406 - Taken

'Hmm? They won?' Wallace was surprised after hearing Avalon's report. 

He knows that the Black Sovereign in that place was the one with the Cube of Paradox. Aside from that, they also have Khrusams that are hard to deal with!

He was curious about the full details of the war that had happened there. However, he's still facing the Terub here and he can't be distracted.

'Let me deal with this guy first…'

Wallace made a decision as he fought the Terub with an intention to kill. He's done probing the alien and he wanted to try killing him.

Of course, if the alien is still hiding a trump card, then it would be best if he could force him to use it. 

The young man is fully aware of Terub Race's physical prowess and intimidating presence. However, aside from this superficial information, they were lacking vital information about them. 

There would be a lot of Terubs they have to deal with someday and they have to be prepared.

As a matter of fact, this is the first time he learned that this alien race can move this fast. 

Bam!

Their fist collided mid-air as it created a huge impact in the surroundings… If one looked at Wallace's small frame, anyone would think that he's at a disadvantage in this exchange. However, one would notice with their every clash, the armor of the huge alien is having cracks and would look like they would break.

It was just being repaired so quickly after pulling back his hands or retreating for a moment. 

[ Wallace, you can retreat now! We're already at the safe point! Be careful! ] 

This is Troy Webb's voice informing him about their current status. He couldn't reply to the man but he acknowledged his words.

Wallace continued his move to force the Terub to show everything he got or else, he would probably die from his next move.

"Take this!"

The young man shouted as his body was suddenly covered by black mana. This mana started acc.u.mulating on his fist before striking the huge alien.

Wallace had finally used his Synthetic Mana Core, the 7th Generation Mana Artifact!

He looked like he was using Death Energy to deal with the alien but in truth, this Sentient Mana can be more dangerous depending on his opponent…

Soon, the black Sentient Mana started slithering around the Terub's body as it entered the gaps within his Armor!

That's right! The recovery of the armor could no longer keep up with the damages it received from Wallace!

It's a perfect opportunity to use the power of the 7th Gen!

"Hmm?"

The Terub appears to be confused at the Sentient Mana coiling around him. It does have similarities with Death Energy's appearance but its aura is completely different. 

"Haa!"

The alien tried releasing a powerful aura to try and break free from the bindings of the Sentient Mana.

However, this Mana is made through the sacrifice of many magician's life. It wouldn't be easily destroyed by an aura!

Wallace didn't hesitate to make his move while the Terub is busy dealing with the Sentient Mana. He used his Void Phase and appeared behind his target.

He opened his palm and slapped it on the Terub's back…

Pah!

The sound of that strike resounded throughout the battlefield. 

Aside from that, Wallace heard the Terub grunt in pain. This is the first time he had seen him get affected by his strike!

'Finally!'

His palm strike was filled with his Astral Energy and he even felt that he spent too much of his energy that his Void Phase may only last for three or four more times.

He has to be careful from now on.

Beep!

[ Another projectile was sent out by the Imperial Flagship. ] 

[ Identifying… ] 

[ Projectile Confirmed. ] 

[ They have sent another Terub Race. Recommending to retreat. ] 

'Tsk… I understand.'

Wallace may not have seen everything the Terub can do but this should be enough for today. After all, he also needs to escape as he doesn't have an unlimited supply of mana.

"You will stay here…" 

The young man suddenly heard the alien's voice as if it can hear what he was thinking!

The Terub's hand tried to grasp Wallace's arm ignoring the Sentient Mana and the pain in his back!

The young man tried to move away but he suddenly realized that the intensity of the alien's pressuring aura had focused on his body!

The previously scattered aura just converged at one point and stopped Wallace's movement!

He's in trouble! 

It only stopped him for half a second but it was enough for the Terub to grab him!

Troy and Percival lead their team into safety.

Right now, there are no longer any magicians within a 30-kilometer radius of the alien's landing site. 

However, it doesn't mean that they couldn't monitor the aliens and the spacesh.i.p.s. 

Due to Avalon's invisible Observer Ward floating in the sky, they can still see what was going on using their devices. 

"What's going on?"

They were just watching the Blaze Battlesh.i.p.s and the few Airsh.i.p.s cover their retreat when they noticed that Wallace was actually in trouble!

They found him being grasped by the three-meter-tall alien!

'This is bad!' 

Troy and Percival looked at each other. They have to make a move!

They wanted to help the young man but they weren't even stepping out of their hidden shelter when the two immediately vanished!

Wallace disappeared with the huge Alien!

They either used an invisibility spell or perhaps an instantaneous movement that Wallace has been using for a while now.

"Let's still try."

"Alright… There should be remnants of his Mana. We can track him."

"Got it… We can also try to see if he left some blood around. I know someone who can track people just by getting some of their blood. Wallace should also be aware of it."

"That's good…"

They were about to go out but a beeping tone interrupted them.

That's right! Avalon is with him! They can still track the whereabouts of the young man!

However, before they could get excited and ask Avalon, the latter made a report.

[ Wallace is captured by a Terub. Before I lost connection to him, they were moving in the direction of the Imperial Flagship. ]

'This is bad!' The two suddenly thought as they worriedly looked in the sky.
