Chapter 368 - Harmlessness-III

In the Hunters' building, Collin stood in one of the rooms of the building, standing in front of the single and wide window of his room, behind his chair.

Rain stood behind with a pursed lips. He knew it will come to punishment or shame if he wasn't able to complete a mission and worse he had failed the task given by Collin himself.

He could only hang his head low.

"He left? A car wouldn't leave on its own. Seojun wouldn't be able to do that himself. There was Kwon Huan with him," Collin narrowed his eyes as he spoke.

Rain was taken aback, "Do you mean Kwon Huan was the one who preformed the magic? But he is a human."

"Not if he isn't," Collin turned and his eyes went to look at his most trusted aid, "Bastie, bring in the documents about that man to me now!"

The man who was ordered immediately nodded his head and left. He brought back the document at once and placed it before Collin who pressed his slender back on the edge of the table. His eyes followed each words after words for the knit o his brows to tie tighter by each seconds.

"What is this bullshit!" Collin was angered after the documents were given and threw it across the floor. "Are you joking with me?"

Both Bestie and Rain was confused of the sudden anger Collin shown. One of them went to look at the documents that were thrown. Bestie took the first half of the documents while Rain took the other second half.

Bestie read it aloud, "Name: Kwon Huan. Age: Forever twenty one. Reason for joining the Hunters: It seems cool and I had to do something here. But because I know I won't be accepted here for the simple reason, I decide to fake a story. My parents died n front of me by a crazed vampire who was thirsty after he had a mortal fight with another vampire. My brother and I manage to run away but she had to sacrifice herself to get me out alive. I resent all vampires in this world. Except for the last part of my story, I am not telling a lie..."

At the same time inside the house of the fortuneteller, Kwon Huan smiled while looking at Seojun who had came to ask how he could be accepted in the hunters. "Except for the last written line of my background story, I wasn't telling a lie. That incident indeed happened to me back when I was on my seventh life. It seemed cool and the least traumatic."

"The least traumatic?" Seojun asked and Kwon Huan smiled. Unlike his nature in the Hunters where Seojun had only seen him as that one cool-headed person who is also strict to himself, Kwon Huan proofed to be a rather playful man after revealing he was JaeGil in his first life.

"I had one where I had to stuff back my guts on a war and continue to fight until my last breath. Also another one where my hands were cut off when I thought I could hold to my friend who was about to fall from a clock tower," Kwon Huan listed his experience. "But in this current life, it's one of the best. I am the son of a wealthy family, had good job, just wasn't very lucky when it comes to having a parents to be there for me throughout my growing age."

"How can they still accept you even after all those words you written in your documents?" Questioned Seojun as he was confused. That written paper must be seen as a joke by everyone. No one in their right mind would allow him to work as a hunter. Yet they did.

"I put a magic there of course, I am a witch what can you expect?" Kwon Huan danced his brows and laughed in triumph.

Cole who was in his room threw all the objects around him out of anger. "He was a witch!"

"A-A witch? But most witch can only use potion. Not all of them are capable of tricking our mind." Rain had fought against many witches but not one of them could ever replicate what Kwon Huan had done.

Bestie shook his head, "They could but those who could have died, leaving only their last one descendant which is Han Seojun, the descendant of Han An-Seul, the last light witch in the world."

"You mean to say that Kwon Huan is a light witch? That's absurd!"

Cole clinched his jaw, his anger flared on his eyes when he realized he had been tricked by a witch for years now. "Find him! Find where Seojun is and find that witch. Drag him in front of me with all his limbs and I should teach him what it means to ever trick a hunter!"

"Sire!" The door to his room suddenly flew open as a hunter rushed inside the room. He noticed it late after calling that the entire desk of the Hunter's leader had been ransacked before noting the blazing anger from Collin.

"What do you have to say?!" Collin demanded, his eyes said that if the hunter didn't bring anything important, he swore to skin the man alive.

"T-The C-Catalyst! The catalyst is outside of the building!" Yelped the hunter.

Collin, knowing the entrance to the building could be seen from the window behind him at once turned his face and look at the small spot outside the gates of his building which mostly surrounded by trees as their building located far away from the praying eyes, locating near the mountain and forest.

Seeing the catalyst, Collin narrowed his eyes, "What is she doing here? Prepare everyone right now!" The hunter who had came and Rain immediately bowed to leave and prepare the rest of the hunters as well as themselves.

"She seems to be alone," Bestie commented as he stood beside Collin who was still frowning.

"It seems she has set her mind to destroy us altogether. How cocky. She will taste her medicine soon," Collin pulled a grim grin before having Bestie to drape the coat over his shoulders and he walked out of the building, making his way to the gate where Seoyeon had been standing at.

Half an hour before Seoyeon notified to the Hunters of her arrival, she stood on the side of the forest path. Looking at the building of the Hunters, she noticed how normal it was. While the Associate's building was used as a church decades ago, the hunter building appeared like a new building where the place was as large as the Associates.

"Here is what we can do and what we can't do," said the fortuneteller once they arrived in front of the Hunter's gate while being concealed by the fortuneteller's magic. "We will only go in without attacking. Don't kill as it will only make us appear more harmful toward them," her eyes looked at Jung Hwa on the very order. "If we fail at once we will leave."

"And I will stand beside Seoyeon while you perform invisible magic on me," Jung Hwa completed the fortuneteller's words.

"Don't do anything rash," warned the fortuneteller again.

"We will get there by midnight if you continue," Seoyeon murmured and the fortuneteller rolled her eyes.

"Fine go now, keep the rules played in mind," the fortuneteller too many steps back, making her way behind the tree when she caught the faint shadow of a person watching the window. After a little more time, she pulled her magic she casted on Seoyeon, letting her appearance to be seen by the Hunters who were present inside the room.

Looking at her surroundings, Seoyeon felt to be strange that people can look at her while they were unable to look Jung Hwa who stood right beside her.

"Someone is there," Jung Hwa pointed his chin toward the guards in front of the door. "You should wave them, I heard it's the best way to become friendly, greeting others."

"I didn't know you can get friendly," Seoyeon drawled her words. With a smile on her lips, she had just raised her hand a little way from her hips for the guards to flinch and run deeper inside the gate as if she had activate her power.

Jung Hwa chuckled friendly, "True, I never know how to get friendly. Most people who got friendly to me either as crazy as I am or they are the sweet talker."

"It was my mistake to trust the words of someone who never had friend," whispered Seoyeon while shaking her head.

"Touché! I do have friends," Jung Hwa responded. He looked around the place and as he was invisible, he could come closer to the gate but as it was lock, his movements to enter the building was limited as well.

Not long when he came back next to Seoyeon, a man with coat draped loosely over his shoulders walked toward the gate. His eyes were sharp when meeting Seoyeon.

"The catalyst," greeted Collin with a dark smile.. "Have you come to taste your demise? In any case I am glad you didn't run away, allowing me to capture you now."
