"She has finished the preparations," He replies calmly. "Are you looking forward to it?"

"Of course, I am." Fang Aisa crosses her arms. "Look! I like that my daughter --"

"Our daughter," Sung Jun corrects her.

"Our daughter." She smiles at him. "She is the president of the council that will lay the foundation of the future of this world. However, don't you have some responsibility, Sung Jun?"

"I am not sure what you are talking about." Sung Jun feigns ignorance, keeping his eyes on the book in his hands. "If you are worried about Nami --"

"Of course, I am worried." Fang Aisa leans forward. "It's been days since I saw her. She's been preparing for the meeting. Are you not supposed to help her? Advise her as an advisor?"

He meets her gaze. They have been married for a long time, but his wife hasn't changed at all. "Do you have no trust in her abilities, you worrywart?"

"I am a worrywart?" Fang Aisa glares at him. "Our daughter is burying herself in work. I don't like that. She is young and beautiful. She should be playing around. Why did you let her become the president of the council? Are you not worried that she will stay single forever? We had an apocalypse recently. And --"

"I thought that you didn't like the mosquito," Sung Jun mutters.

"I don't like him." Fang Aisa raises her finger. "But he's her true mate. We should give him one chance."

"I already gave it to him." Sung Jun turns the page of the book. "He hasn't impressed me."

"He is trying to help the angel." Fang Aisa frowns. "Why is he not worried about his love life? Nami doesn't want him. I don't want him for Nami. He should try his best to impress us."

"Why?" Sung Jun gives her a look. "Let him do whatever he wants. We have an eternity to handle these things."

"Why are you so frustrating?" Fang Aisa exhales. "We are his in-laws. And are you truly not worried about Nami? Ri Na is happily married to Reis. Nami should also find happiness."

"So, you want her to marry Klyn."

"NOPE!" Fang Aisa shakes her head. "Not to the mosquito."

"He's her true mate," Sung Jun states. "I don't like it either, but Nami should be the one who should make the decision. If she wants to be Klyn, we have no right to stop her. True bond doesn't happen to everyone. Klyn must be right for her in some ways."

"A mosquito." Fang Aisa holds her head. "A vampire who sucks!"

"And you are a demoness." He murmurs, "I am fine with it."

"You are more demonic than I am." Fang Aisa grimaces at him. "Do you think that I have forgotten how you married me? I didn't even know that I was married to you."

"There was no other way." He shrugs. "You kept running away instead of confronting me."

She leans back in her seat, scowling at him.

"Yeah." Fang Aisa sighs. "And Ri Na. Our grandchildren aren't here either. Jun, doesn't the house feel so empty?"

"We can make more babies."

"No." She raises her knees in defence. "Don't even think about it. I won't have more children."

"Then, it's going to be you and me." Sung Jun pulls her chair closer to him. "Do you dislike the idea that it will be only us?"

"But your nose is always in the book." Fang Aisa complains, "Sometimes, I feel like you married the books."

"My fault." He nods. "I will start reading you again. All the time. Are you happy now?"

"That will be…" She bites her lower lip shyly. "Not bad."

"You can't whine later." He pinches her nose. "If you cry about not having space --"

"C'mon!" She snorts. "There's been no personal space in my life since our wedding. We had ten kids."

Sung Jun lets out a heavy sigh. "Finally, there can be some peace and you --"

"FATHER!!!!!!!!!!"

"Peace is a thing of the past," Sung Jun adds as Fang Aisa laughs. They turn their heads toward the door.

Their first son, Sung Soo-Han, opens the door. "Father, something really bad happened."

"Is it bad enough that you are disturbing my alone time with your mother?" Sung Jun asks him with a straight face.

"Father, it's way worse." Sung Se-Yong enters the living room. "The humans are demanding a separate continent."

"Huh?" Fang Aisa squints her eyes. "Separate continent?"

"They want the largest continent on this planet." Sung Se-Yong reveals, "They don't want a single non-human there. Even the free fae can't live in the forests or other dwellings."

Fang Aisa closes her eyes, sighing. "I already have a headache."

"And that's not the biggest issue." Sung Soo-Han adds hesitantly, "Some of the human hunters also support this. They are protesting outside the council building."

"Human hunters?" Sung Jun frowns.

"Basically, vampire hunters." Sung Se-Yong replies, "Something happened between the vampires and the hunters. Vampire Queen killed a lot of… well, she nearly killed them all and set fire to the vampire hunter HQ. So… the survivors are gaslighting the humans. They are all demanding a separate continent. After seeing this, the free fae also wants a separate continent. And there are also witches, spiritual cultivators, and all…"

"They all want their own place." Fang Aisa says, "I can't believe that I lived long enough to see this."

"Mother, you are immortal." Sung Soo-Han tells her, "You will see much more."

"I have noticed a strange thing." Sung Seung-Min interjects, "Fluctuations in the energy. The angels noticed it first, I think. But they remained quiet."

"What is it?" Sung Jun glances at Sung Seung-Min.

"Systems." Sung Seung-Min puts his hands inside his pockets. He meets everyone's curious gaze one by one. "They call themselves systems. Basically, they are highly developed AIs by techmages from a distant world. All the humans, including the one who came to meet Nami, have accepted their deals."
