Chapter 128 - Adventures Of Aurora And Inglis, Heliosphere

Name:Godslayer's Legend Author:_michael
[Authority of Death: Dust to Dust - Overdrive]

Activating the lethal ability that returned the target to dust at full power, Inglis put an end to the life of the last celestial remaining in the area.

The golden domain he had created seconds before his death shattered and turned into particles of light as its creator had passed away.

|With a domain as large as his, there's no doubt that he was a universe's main entity.|

Inglis pulled her staff out of the disintegrating corpse and spoke to Aurora who was still healing herself.

|Just what was someone like that doing in hell?|

|I'm sure Diablo knows, he just didn't tell us.|

The two women clicked their tongues at the same time and turned towards the same direction.

The direction of one of the realms that was partially destroyed by Aurora's earlier counter attack.

|Let's rest for a while first|

Inglis nodded to Aurora's words and waved her hands, pulling their space craft out of its spatial isolation.

◇ ◇ ◇

48 Hours Later

Inglis and Aurora, after resting and recovering a considerable amount of their energy, moved towards the damaged realm that was currently repairing itself.

It was the largest realm in thus galaxy, and the realm that needed the most protection.

The Central Realm.

The reason for this was because of what was contained within the central realm.

It was the core of the galaxy.

The two dashed into this realm and destroyed all the protectors created by the galaxy with ease before finally arriving at the core that was situated at the centre of the realm.

In front of the gigantic orb pulsing with enormous amounts of unknown energy that was the galactic core, was the last protector of the galaxy.

If the master of a universe had the duty to protect the universe, in the case of a galaxy, the duty belonged to the galactic equivalent of a universal master.

The Galactic Ruler.

The last of the five high tier deity celestials and the strongest of them all, the auras of several laws were being emitted from his body.

Coupled with the boosts he gained while fighting in the galaxy he was meant to protect.

"Light, darkness, slaughter, decadence, life, fate, destiny...

Just how did a celestial this strong get into hell?"

The celestial just wordlessly stared at the two women in front of him, various complex emotions flashed through his eyes.

His friends and comrades who had been with him for tens of dozens of millennia were killed by these two women, yet he could not do anything about it.

|Even so, you must really underestimate us if you believe a clone would be enough to hold us back.|

Inglis spoke up, her voice tinged with annoyance as she stared at the clone in front of her.

The celestial standing in front of them was none other than a clone of the galactic ruler.

The real one had absconded long ago.

Essence of the laws of fate and destiny swirled around his body as he closed his eyes and opened them multiple times.

|I have checked and checked again, fate and destiny warned me not to face you today.

Not because you are a threat to me, but because of the one behind you.|

He looked up at the empty space above Aurora and Inglis' heads as he finally spoke.

Ignoring the looks of confusion on the two women's faces, he stroked the core behind him and continued with a sad voice.

|I'm sorry.|

***WHIRRR!!!

There was a whirring sound as the ambient energies around them began to run wild.

Seeing this, Aurora immediately attacked to stop him from whatever he was planning.

She generated a spear of flames and threw it towards the celestial.

However what happened next shocked the two women to the core.

||Aspect of Time: Reversal ||

The spear stopped right before his head.

A second later, it began moving backwards as it's time was rewound back to before Aurora created the spear.

Seeing this, the light smile on Inglis' face disappeared, Aurora's expression also turned ugly.

At the same time, the two echoed the identity of the being in front of them.

||Candidate of Time||

Flames burst out from Aurora's body, a tiara of flames appeared on her head and she spread out her flaming feathery wings.

|Ah! Rory's pissed|

With those words, Inglis instantly teleported out of the area.

The flames around Aurora swirled around her and formed a gigantic pillar of flames.

After a few seconds, the flames died down and revealed a large planet sized flaming bird with golden eyes.

Aurora had returned to her original form, that of a phoenix.

Opening her mouth, energy gathered in front of it and gave birth to a giant fireball.

It may have looked similar to the normal fire attribute spell: fireball, however one should remember that the one who created a fireball was a phoenix deity.

As the bright white fireball accelerated, it increased in size and dispersed an extraordinary amount of violent and hot wind.

[Authority of Fire: Heliosphere]

The fireball in front of her mouth was launched and it moved towards the celestial in front of the galactic core.

His face contorted as he put up multiple defences yet none could block the fireball's power.

'Was hoping to buy time for them to move everything out but I guess that's not happening huh?'

The fireball crashed into him and burned him to ash instantly, going further to collide with the giant galactic core.

– Immediately afterwards. A giant explosion.

The first thing that happened was a flash.

There was a light that quite literally blinded and burned the entire field of vision, painting the environment white.

Any normal person who looked at it would be blinded without exception.

However, every normal person in the area would have  been long turned into ash by the heat of the flames.

The collision of the fireball with the core instantly resulted in an explosion with the force of several quark novae behind it.

The explosion then went on to spread outside the central realm and to other parts of the galaxy.

Gamma ray bursts spread out in every direction towards all the celestial bodies within the galaxy at speeds faster than light.

Stars exploded, planets imploded, moons went out of orbit and collided with other celestial bodies.

A minute.

Just 60 seconds.

That was how long it took for the entire galaxy to crumble after its core was attacked directly.

Staring at the crumbling galaxy via clairvoyance from a few thousand light years away,  Inglis sighed, thinking about Aurora's dislike for the beings known as 'Candidates'.

'Just what are they candidates for in the first place?'

Meanwhile, the entire galaxy had crumbled and all life within it was extinguished.

All except the person who caused the galaxy's end.

Aurora stared coldly at the now dead/dormant core of the galaxy as sparks bounced off her body.

Ignoring this, she turned into a streak of light and moved towards the space craft where Inglis was watching from.

The moment she arrived, she reverted back to her human form.

"That was a little overboard but it's all cool, let's home."

Those were Inglis' words to her as she moved her hand and activated the space craft's light speed movement option, setting course for the burning realms cluster.

◇ ◇ ◇

A few minutes after the two women had exited the area, a vertical line the height of an average human was torn through a certain point in space.

Two hands came out of the small tear and pulled it open like how one would a pair of curtains.

From the now enlarged tear in space, a man that Arthur would have recognized emerged from within.

It was the head of the drifters of the hell Universe, Larry.

The high drifter who did not seem like one.

He looked towards the now dead galaxy core and spoke as his eyes flashed.

[Authority of Fate: Influence Discernment]

His eyes glowed golden for a few moments, after which he nodded and closed them.

"So it seems that the candidate's influence here his reducing, he might take drastic action soon.

I hope he does not do so before the 'Lord' comes over."

After speaking those words, he turned and re-entered the tear he emerged from.

The next moment, the tear in space closed up and the area returned to normal like nothing ever happened.

◇ ◇ ◇

The Nine Thousand Circles.

Known as the deepest points of hell in many myths and stories.

It was usually depicted as a place of torment for those who have rejected spiritual values by yielding to bestial appetites or violence.

However, in the Hell universe, things are a lot different.

The 'Nine thousand circles' was the name given to the giant galaxy super cluster that was ruled by the master of the hell universe.

The central galaxy that held the core of the hell universe was rumoured to be in this cluster.

If that was true, then it would he the very definition of hiding a tree in a forest.
