Chapter 129 - Adventures Of Aurora And Inglis, End - Nine Thousand Circles

Name:Godslayer's Legend Author:_michael
The Nine Thousand Circles.

Widely known as the deepest points of hell in many myths and stories.

It was usually depicted as a place of torment for sinners and those who have rejected spiritual values by yielding to bestial appetites or violence.

However, in the Hell universe, things were a lot different.

The 'Nine thousand circles' was the name given to the giant galaxy super cluster that was ruled by the master of the hell universe.

The central galaxy that held the most important item in the entirety of the hell universe was rumoured to be in this cluster.

The core of the hell universe.

If that was true, and the central galaxy that contained the core was truly in this super cluster, then it would be the very definition of the saying ' it's best to hide a tree in a forest'.

If you want to hide a galaxy-

-then hide it in a galaxy super cluster.

The Nine Thousand Circles cluster was arguably the largest super cluster in the entirety of the hell universe.

A giant super cluster that had its galaxies arranged in a pyramid shape.

It had nine layers with each layer containing a million galaxies more than the last.

The first layer had 1 million, the second, 2 million, the third, 3 million and so on and so forth.

This continued until the ninth layer that contained a whopping 9 million galaxies.

It was the largest and most dangerous part of the Nine thousand circles super cluster and where the central galaxy was said to be located in.

In total, the super cluster had 45 million galaxies within it.

Such an enormous amount of galaxies, yet it was not even up to a hundredth of the total within the entire hell universe.

In one of these galaxies, a man with dull silver hair was seated on a throne within a dark space.

In front of him, were a nearly uncountable number of screens, each displaying various events happening within the hell universe.

Interstellar wars.

Battles between galactic rulers.

Primitive worlds just discovering fire.

Advanced worlds conquering other lesser worlds.

Deities being prevented from descending into lower worlds by the law of causality.

Even normal worlds that had no knowledge of magic or other energies were displayed on this screen.

One of the screens was closer to him and was larger than the others behind it.

His dark eyes were focused on it, where the figure of the 'high drifter' leaving the scene of the destroyed galaxy could be seen.

"I knew the drifters were definitely up to something."

He was the reason why the celestial candidate for time absconded without trying to battle Inglis and Aurora.

The moment the celestial dared, the silver haired man who was watching all these events would have taken action against him.

As for the celestial, he actually didn't know who it was, all he knew was that his plans would crumble the moment the owner of that gaze took action.

The owner of that gaze, was none other than the master of the Hell universe.

The son of the strongest devil king in the history of the hell universe, Lucifer.

Current Devil King, Diablo Vaughn.

Diablo waved his hands and the screen was switched for another.

One of a giant realm gate that was floating in an unknown area of the hell universe.

"First a progenitor, now a candidate.

The fact that his clone could use his aspect means that the real one is somewhere in hell.

Do they know 'it' is here or something?"

Diablo waved his hand again, this time, a book appeared out of thin air.

It was a titleless black book with black pages.

On the back cover was a diagram of 45 circles arranged in a pyramid shape.

It was the exact same arrangement as the galaxies in the nine thousand circles galaxy super cluster.

He looked the book that remained floating in the air and spoke, his words were ones that would have definitely warranted a shocked, stunned or dumbfounded reaction from any of the main entities of the hell universe or any of the devildom's nobles.

"Akashic record."

The Akashic Record!

The artifact that contained almost all knowledge in the hell universe since it was born.

It was an artifact that was sought after by millions of Arch Devils, yet it was in Diablo's possession.

To top it off-

-Not a single soul was aware of this!

The circles on the cover of the book glowed in response to his words.

He then proceeded to ask a question he had already lost count of how many times he had asked.

"Where is 'null'?"

['Null' is in the Varona Realm]

His question was answered by an emotionless robotic voice.

"Where in the Varona Realm?"

[Longitude 40°, Latitude 70° of the planet Atar 67668 in star system 73964.]

The Akashic record, displayed its ability by giving him the exact location of the 'item' he was looking for.

"If I go there right this moment, will I see it?"

[No]

Diablo frowned upon hearing this, no matter how many times he asked, he still couldn't help feeling annoyed hearing that same reply.

"Why?"

[The spell casted over the Varona realm makes it so that if an entity is to enter while knowing the location of 'null', its location would change instantly.

If you know the new location, it would change once more.]

"Then how do I find it?"

[The way to find 'null' is to not know its location and discover it accidentally.

In other words, search blindly.]

"Has anyone ever discovered it?"

[No]

Diablo face palmed after hearing that, he sighed and decided to ask a question he hadn't asked before.

"Has anyone ever come close to discovering it?"

[Yes]

Diablo revealed a shocked expression upon hearing the answer the Akashic record gave.

"Who was it?!"

To his impatient question, the Akashic record calmly replied with the same emotionless robotic voice.

[Calculating Causality Index...]

Ambient energies swirled round Diablo for a moment before returning to normal the next.

[Completed

Entity- Diablo Morningstar Vaughn possesses sufficient Causality index.

As such, information shall be revealed.]

There was a small pause before it continued.

[The one who came close to finding 'null' is entity – Creusery Vaughn.

He stumbled across the location approximately 4995 years ago, Burning Realms Time.]

"I see, so that's where he got the concealment ring."

Diablo showed a look of understanding as he figured the source of Creusery's concealment ring.

[The concealment ring of entity – Creusery Vaughn, which is currently in possession of entity – @ꓤthꓵꓤ V@ughU, is a cosmic artifact that originally belonged to entity – Lucifer Morningstar.]

The Akashic record casually gave out the information on the true origin of the concealment ring Arthur always used that had absurd features and even prevented his mother, Cattleya, from sensing his energy.

There were some weird parts but Diablo was not surprised in the least, he ignored them and asked a final question.

"What if I destroy Varona?"

Destroying the entire Varona Realm!

Such an arrogant statement.

The Varona realm was one of the largest realms in the hell universe.

There were hundreds of galaxies inside this great realm.

Yet Diablo casually spoke about destroying it so confidently.

However, Diablo had the power to back up that statement.

He was an intermediate stage monarch realm existence.

Destroying a few great realms like Varona was a walk in the park for him.

To his question, the Akashic record simply replied emotionlessly as usual.

[No]

[The destruction of the Varona realm would only result in 'null' changing its location to a different realm.

Entity- Lucifer Morningstar prepared exactly 6391 other back up realms for the event of Varona's destruction.]

Hearing that reply made Diablo want to punch his father in the face, unfortunately, he'd been dead for a dozen millennia.

He remembered the last day that he saw his father, a being who seemed like an insurmountable wall.

A being who possessed power he could not even dream of comprehending.

That day, he saw this very same being appear before him with multiple fatal injuries and rip out one of his energy cores.

He placed the energy core in the confused Diablo's hands before teleporting to Varona.

It was in that same realm that Lucifer met his end.

However, he understood one thing.

Lucifer's death was obviously not natural.

The fact that someone or something out there in the cosmos had managed to deal so much fatal damage to Lucifer spoke of the horrors that lurked in the cosmos.

'All the more reason why I need 'null'.'

Diablo closed the Akashic record with a sigh.

He felt a great amount of his magic power leave his body but his expression didn't change.

While most deities could consider that a significant power decrease, to Diablo, it was something he could regain easily.

He stood up and thought about how he was going to coax his wife, Aurora, who was really pissed off at him.

'Let's try telling her that I wouldn't have let that celestial's attack hit her.'

With those thoughts, he teleported away from the dark space, leaving behind the screens that were still playing various scenes from the hell universe.
