Chapter 67 - Here For Him

Noah had Ivy against the big tree kissing her intimately. Aiden and Thomas decided it was best for them to wait in the car and save themselves from the torment.

Noah and Ivy broke from the kiss, his eyes were heavy with a desire to take his lover. But not want to pry eyes to see her beautiful body, he held back. He leaned closer toward her and put his forehead against hers.

"Your mine kitten, remember that."

His deep husky voice full of lust hit Ivy as a wave, she too was feeling it. If they were near the home she would be tempted to give in, but as this is a tourist spot she could only hold back. Not wanting to prolong the night any further she took his elegant hand in hers and pulled him to the car.

"Let's go home."

"Not want dinner?"

"Yes… at home." Ivy bit her lips and Noah smirked as he opened the passenger car door and helped Ivy in before getting in himself.

Noah lifted his phone and txt Aiden.

(Get the jet ready we are heading home early)

On receiving the message Aiden phoned to let the pilot know, then turned to Thomas who was driving.

"Thomas drive to the airport."

Aiden and Thomas drove ahead to give the two lovers space and to get to the airport early to get it all ready for boarding. Noah couldn't wait on such things.

Noah reached over and held Ivy's hand. He could see that Thomas and Aiden had driven on ahead. Seeing Ivy enjoy the scenery as she looked out the window he slowed down, he too wanted to spend just a bit more time on vacation with Ivy. He would be busy when he got home, he had just managed to clear his schedule for today but it meant when he got home he would be busy for the next fortnight. They cruised along the lakeside. The lake wrapped around the countryside and at this pace, it could take another half hour until they reach the airport.

Out of nowhere, four black alligator SUVs pulled up behind Noah. Noah hit the gas, these cars were here for him. He had so many enemies if any found out he was out of his territory and with only Aiden and Thomas with him this would be the perfect ambush. He inwardly cursed at whoever dared to provoke him. He also didn't want Ivy to get scared, he turned to look at her and she seemed calm, good as expected of his lover he thought.

Seeing Noah speed up and let go of her hand Ivy sat up and looked around spotting four black SUVs on their tail she knew they were in trouble. She went to grab Noah's phone but the car suddenly jolted forward with the force of one of the SUVs hitting the back of their car.

"Fuck."

Noah cursed if this was one of his they would be armour-plated, with bulletproof windows but he was too easy-going this trip and had asked Aiden to get him a car Ivy and he could have fun driving. It was only when Ivy showed interest in the car he had told Aiden to bring it home and get it up to par with his other cars.

The car was hit from the back again and they were both thrown forward with the impact. Noah was a great driver, but he swerved and avoided their cars as much as possible but a few hits from the back couldn't be avoided.

Bang Bang Bang

The men had started to fire bullets from their guns as they leaned out of their cars. Ivy ducked in her seat as glass from the windows smashed. The back window and side windows where all smashed. The hail of gunfire then stopped.

Suddenly with the last hit from the SUV, their car was rammed and had stalled before Noah got it started again. Noah hit the gas and they took off again. The back of the car was dented by the force as they were hit numerous times now. Ivy sat up and looked around. Ann SUV pulled up on either side of them and one at the back. They had meant to give them no escape route, they wanted to kill them. They were proper armoured alligator SUVs this sports car had no chance.

Noah hit the gas again and they jolted forward, he pushed the car to the limit as fast as it could go. He outran three of the SUVs but the one on Ivy's side rammed once and on the second go Noah steered the car sideways to avoid the crash. He didn't want Ivy to be hurt at all costs.

The car swerved and ran into a ditch. The car had stopped and Ivy's body was whipped forward and thrown back with the sudden force. She scrambled to get her belt off as Noah was hitting the gas over and over trying to start the car up again. Once she got her belt off she dove under the seat where Noah's phone had slid. Finding the phone her hands shook as she put his password. The light shone and she quickly found Aiden's number.

She looked up at Noah he was grabbing something from the glove compartment. Ivy looked closer, Noah was assembling two guns and putting the bullets in the chamber. She heard the click as he assembled them. The ring tone went on and on, it felt like an eternity but it had only been a few seconds. She tried to keep calm, as she wasn't scared for herself she was afraid because they were here for her Noah. Noah was bleeding from his temple and blood ran down his shirt, Ivy had no time to care about herself.

She watched as men started to get out of their SUVs. All together there seemed to be about ten men in total all heavily armed with guns. Noah's phone finally connected.

"Aiden we are 5 miles out from the airport we have crashed into a ditch there are men here with guns and our car won't start."

"On our way Ivy."

The call was hung up and she looked up at Noah, her heart pounding and her fingers trembling.

"Ivy get in the driver's seat and keep trying the car".

Noah and Ivy swapped seats. With the adrenaline running through her system she had no time to think or stop. She turned the keys over and over praying that it would start in time.
