Chapter 287 - REMEMBERING HIS FRIENDS

Jillyanna brought Travis back to his room. Many doctors congratulated him on his recovery whenever they see him. They all heard about Travis and for doctors, it was their happiness to know that a patient survives after such an ordeal.

"Would you like to take a half bath or would you like to eat first?" Jillyanna asked him when they got inside.

Thomas was there together with Savannah and Hawk. They were waiting for them to come back before they'd go to the company.

"Good morning dad." Jillyanna greeted Thomas while she pour a glass of water for Travis.

"Good morning father." Travis greeted Thomas as well but it sounded impolite and disrespectful. Jillyanna looked at him weirdly so he changed his greeting. "Good morning dad. Have you eaten?" This time, Jillyanna smiled and kissed his head.

Thomas was deeply touched that his son was trying his best to cope with his current situation. Jillyanna was helping him too which made it less awkward whenever they visit him.

"I have eaten already. We brought you food so you should eat as well. We just drop by before going to the company."

"You take good care of yourself. Mom is gone so you should be extra careful of your health."

"You remembered your mother?" Thomas asked in surprise because it was another step to recover his lost memory. However, Travis disappointed him.

"I don't remember her but Jill has been telling me about you and her. She would always tell me a story pertaining to everyone. That's how I know. I remembered Gabriel though."

This time Savannah and Hawk looked at him before they both shifted their eyes to Jillyanna who only shrugged her shoulders.

"How did you remember him?" Savannah asked because it was weird of him to remember someone without any stimuli.

Travis thought about it for awhile. "I don't really know. He just popped out of my mind. I remembered that he argued with me because of a little girl. He was really young back then. I wonder how he looked right now."

They sadly sighed for his memory. The person he remembered was the young Gabriel. He still don't remember the current Gabriel.

"That's a good progress. You will eventually remember us. Just take your time." Hawk spoke to him with a faint smile. Even if some people would say he looked cold and ruthless, to everyone he cared about, he was the kindest person and friend they could have.

"I'll try my best. Did you bring the photo albums?" Travis asked them in which Savannah nodded happily. She went to the couch and picked a paper bag which contained several photo albums. "Thank you Savy."

"Huh? What did you just call me?" Everyone was stunned and happy at the same time. Valkyrie and Brown who just came heard him, too.

"Did you just call her Savy?" Valkyrie asked who was still standing at the door with his eyes wide open.

"Don't just stand at the door." Brown pushed him in and walked towards Jillyanna. "I cut some flowers from the garden."

"It's fine. Thank you for taking care of them." Jillyanna whispered.

Travis who was put under the spotlight was confused. "Didn't I always call you Savy? I think I remembered calling you Savy. Did I remember it wrong?"

Savannah cried and threw herself in his arms. "Aahhh! I'm so happy you remember me. You are the one who named me Savy after my codename Savannah. You always call me Savy. I am so happy." she cried from so much joy that even Jillyanna wiped the tears that fell on her face.

Travis didn't know how to react. A woman was in his arms while his wife was crying not far from him. He was utterly confused as to what he should do.

In the end, he still pushed her a little away from him. "Don't throw yourself at me. I'm only interested in my wife. I don't want anyone else but my wife."

These words made everyone burst into a fit of laughter. They couldn't believe that he would misunderstood her action that way.

"We knew you're only interested in your wife. I was just really happy that you remembered me." Savannah stated while wiping her tears happily.

"I don't particularly remember everything about you. I just thought that I have always called someone Savy and your name is Savannah so it must be you."

"That is still a good progress." Brown commented while he arranged the flowers in the vase. "It's a relief that you remember something so important to Savannah."

"I agree with Brown. But then again, don't take it too hard." Valkyrie stated with a faint smile.

"Tsk! You will only agree with everything he'd say." Savannah snickered at him while Hawk handed her a handkerchief.

Jillyanna was smiling happily at them while she prepared the food that they will be eating. "By the way, Travis will be discharged tomorrow at 10 o'clock in the morning. I'll be taking him back in our house. Will it be fine with you dad?"

"Hn. It's fine with me. I'll just come over to visit you both." Thomas responded to her.

Travis watched everyone interact and found something interesting. He noticed it since the first time the two visited him together. They often argued back and forth but there was something in their eyes that says something else.

Travis looked between Valkyrie and Brown, then he looked down and smiled. This time he remembered the two of them clearly. It was so clear that he was the one who cried.

"What happened?" Jillyanna panicked and walked to his side. "Why are you crying? What happened to you? Are you in pain? Are you getting dizzy?"

Travis shook his head and hugged her despite the fact that everyone was watching them. "I'm just so happy I don't know know how to contain it."

"Oh..Then just be happy. Either you laugh or cry, I'll be by your side." Jillyanna whispered while she pat his back gently.

"I remember Val and Brown. Everything about them..."
