Chapter 95 - Championship (13)

Name:Ceo Unrivaled Author:inflict
Clark's mage had finally respawned amidst the chaotic clash on the bottom lane. The background music playing in the battlefield became more thrilling and the audience almost did not blink their eyes from watching the large screen.

"This clash could actually make everyone's heart happy!"

"Ahh, those exchange of skills from both squads and their combos! Although it looked chaotic but its very calculated! Even the support healing the ally while the tank enemy interrupting his heal! Just soo goood!!!"

"This tournament will give us good profit. The player's bet are also great numbers!"

The satisfied look in the faces of everyone watching in the game was too overwhelming for the organizers. Their chitchat quickly grew louder and louder as they observed the people.

While the audience were enjoying the game, the staffs of the tournament would sometimes took photos of the audience's reaction for their documentation. So far, the reactions from the audience that they had taken had given them complete sense of fulfillment.

"This tournament, we never expect this to blow like this!"

"I was even skeptical to participate in organizing this tournament before because of the occasion. I'm glad that I have participated!"

The staffs continued to compare their emotions towards the game while walking at the back area of the bleachers.

However, as the clash continues, the audience reaction also changed and they began to trash talk.

"Gosh! Their clash from both sides! Those animation effects! All are 100 percent perfect! But that archer, amp!"

"Wow, only the Chronos squad assassin and marksman survived! That clash had really been an eye-opener. If only the marksman of the Chronos squad has more damage, their tank would have survived first!"

"It is really the tank's fault... Sigh!"

"Yes, the damage dealer is too useless if there is not enough physical damage to their enemy. Look! There are three characters from their squad who died in less than a minute,"

"Useless marksman. Why is this archer prioritizing his attack speed? Without any attack damage, his attack speed is useless! BOO!!! BOO!!!"

"The Chronos squad must replaced their trash marksman user! I am much better player than him! Tsk!"

One bashful comment started and the audience followed to throw more trash talks. They could not help but voiced out their disappointment to Stephen's marksman after seeing that the archer survived the clash but the tank and support died.

In the clash, the archer's lack of damage was more obvious.

At first, only the experts of the game and the veterans had noticed this flaw of his character. But now that the two squads had gone in the full clash, even the noobs and newbies could see the problem of the physical damage that the archer lacked.

When the expert players noticed this flaw, they also saw the significance of the marksman's choice. So, they did not react to it. They have understood thoroughly the advantage and sacrifice of the marksman. They even praised the archer for getting the attack speed.

But now that the noob and newbie players had noticed the lack of physical damage from the archer, they bashed its user right away! They did not even hold back and were quick to call Stephen useless as they did not understand why the archer picked the attack speed rather than boost of physical attack damage.

Those expert players who have heard the hateful remarks of the other audience became annoyed.

"Shut up! You don't know their game tactics! Why don't you analyze the character build and the overall situation of the game before you shout your nonsense opinions!" one veteran scolded loudly after being feed up of the trash talks from the noob players. This veteran was just wearing a casual plus-size shirt and shorts as well as a slipper. He looked average and there was no sense of authority on his posture.

When those group of noob audience heard him, they quickly examined the veteran from head to foot. The contempt in their eyes were evident and they scowled at him.

"Ohh, this fatty likes to pretend to be an expert eh?"

"Fatty, you shut up! We don't need you to talk! Clearly, that archer is just useless. His damage could not even finish those creeps easily!"

"Maybe this fatty cannot see the obvious? EH! Dare to scold us? What an ignorant player!"

"How bold this man is! It's better if you mind your business and exercise. Why are you scolding us?"

Those who heard him looked at his face with disdain. They even go to another step and insulted the man's physique.

"Ohhh... those noobs, you cannot waste you time to them! Just watch the game," another expert consoled the man and advised him to just watch.

"Yeah, shallow waters are indeed noisy!" the man that was called fatty clicked his tongue before he returned his attention to the large screen.

At the same time, the commentator was also quick to acknowledge Clark's mage as it appeared on the base...

"Alright, folks! Both squads had lost their tanks and the Lee Gaming squad marksman is dealing with the Chronos squad assassin! Now, the mage of the Chronos squad is coming to the rescue! Let's see of he can benefit with this clash!" the tone of the older commentator became mild but there was still a hint of enthusiasm in his voice.

"Joined them Clark and you can surely wipe out our opponents," Joey stated while looking at the movement of their mage from his gray screen. Since his support also died, he could only wait for the respawn timer to end.

"Yes! I'm back!" Clark murmured and moved his mobile phone closer to his face. His left thumb pressed harder on his screen as he urged his character to go to the bottom lane,

Just as he was about to press the sprint button, Sofia's voice told him to use teleport.

"Focus Clark. Use your teleport and you can still get those remaining Lee Gaming squad members! When you got there, use your ultimate to the marksman opponent. Your cool down is already great." Sofia emphasized that his character had already attained a sufficient cool down reduction and he can use his skills

Teleport!

Clark was really shaken by his first death that he had forgotten the teleport command. He quickly realized that if his character sprinted forward, it might be too late for him to arrive at the location of the clash!

"Yes, I will focus! I will focus!" Clark repeatedly muttered as if reminding himself to focus on the match.

At this point, Claire's assassin was still running as if she was playing hide and seek with Brent's marksman. She utilized her ability to conceal and change locations whenever the marksman move near her character.

Claire had activated her invisibility and then ran from one grass to another. With her movement, Brent had become more annoyed as he could not predict where the Chronos assassin was hiding.

"This assassin is really troublesome," Brent gritted his teeth while attacking the grass.

He delivered series of gunshots on the grass but it was not the area where Claire's assassin was hiding. Hence, every time he clicked his skill to deliver the attack, the audience would laugh at his action.

"Young master Brent, be careful! The assassin is about to ---" William tried to remind Brent not to be complacent. He knew that the assassin was just buying her time and was waiting for her ultimate to become available again.

On the screen, a ranging fire suddenly appeared on the location of where Brent's marksman was standing.

It was a full unprecedented attack coming from a mage skill!

Brent had been to focused on trying to get the Chronos assassin. He had not noticed that Clark's mage was already near them!

"F*ck! F*CK! The mage had respawn!" Brent angrily announced to inform all the remaining members to be cautious.

And the mage does not need to get nearer to his target for his range was enough to hit the marksman.

As the ranging fire arrived, it was too late for the marksman to move to a different location. His 55 percent HP dropped and became 46 percent after the magical damage penetrated to him.

Just as Brent thought that he could escape after this initial attack, the chaotic winds flew to his locations and it was followed by the water stream!

Three attacks altogether with a 9% magical damage per attack hit Brent's marksman.

He could only watch as his HP dropped again from 46 percent to 37. Then after the water stream almost drowned his marksman, he was left with 28 percent HP.

Brent quickly retreated after receiving the three successive attacks. He went to the grass and attempted to use teleport for him to recover his HP to their base.

However, to his surprise, when he took a step on the grass the opponent that he was chasing earlier show up in front of him!

"OH DAMN! F****CCCCK!" Brent cursed loudly. In his mind, he had imagined right away the face of the assassin user smiling at his character wickedly.
