Chapter 246 - The Town

The conversation throughout the evening was calm and casual. Han Qingshan slowly let go of his nervousness and began enjoying the atmosphere.

It was late into the night before their visit ended, and when it was finally time for Han Qingshan, and Jiang Yingyue to leave, all of them were somewhat reluctant.

"We will go out shopping tomorrow," Xun Huiyin said as she held Jiang Yingyue's hands in her own. "We will have some time without the men, and we can talk about how life is truly treating us."

"Then we'll go fishing," Han Qingshan said. "I brought a lot of fishing gear for Mr. Jiang; I am sure that we will each have a good day."

Just like that, the plans for the next day had been made, and the two youngsters gave their farewells before they returned to the hotel.

As they reached the rooms, Han Qingshan was sticking closely to Jiang Yingyue, kissing the nape of her neck as he stood behind her, pressing his entire body against her.

He was needy and very close to her. "We have our own rooms," she reminded him, but Han Qingshan just stuck even closer to her, whispering in her ear, "Your father already knows that we sleep together, there is nothing to hide now, let's just share a room."

Jiang Yingyue's ears flushed red from having Han Qingshan's mellow and intoxicating voice reverberating in her ear.

But when she finally understood the words that Han Qingshan had spoken, she was so stunned and embarrassed that she hurriedly pulled him into the room.

"What do you mean by 'my dad knows we sleep together'?" she asked, unable to look him in the eyes.

Han Qingshan snickered when he saw her bashful appearance, and he stepped forward, enveloping her in a warm embrace.

"Your father is not stupid," Han Qingshan said with a smile. "We have been together for so long already, not to mention we are living together under one roof. If I had really not touched you, I think he would question my feelings for you."

Jiang Yingyue was so embarrassed knowing that her father was aware of how she had been with Han Qingshan, but upon thinking some more about it, she calmed down.

Han Qingshan was right; they had been together for a long time already, it was indeed weird if they had not gotten physical.

Han Qingshan could see that she was softening in her attitude, and his hands slowly snuck under her clothes, caressing her skin.

His face lowered, and kisses rained down upon Jiang Yingyue's face. Having realized that it was impossible to make Han Qingshan leave her room tonight, she surrendered herself to the pleasure that he brought her.

The following morning, when Jiang Yingyue awoke, her waist was sore. Han Qingshan was still sound asleep, hugging her possessively in his arms.

She was also feeling sweet, happiness from being able to share her life together with Han Qingshan was seeping through her entire being.

Sensing Jiang Yingyue stir in his arms, Han Qingshan awoke as well. His eyes were quickly focused on the petite woman who was standing by the side of the bed and were admiring her body with a heated gaze.

Sensing the gaze, Jiang Yingyue turned around where she saw Han Qingshan reclining on the side, his head supported by his arm.

His eyes were heated, a wolf-like smile on his lips. Jiang Yingyue instantly turned flustered and rushed to the bedroom to wash up.

Seeing her flee in such a flustered state, Han Qingshan could not help but chuckle.

The two pairs, Han Qingshan and Jiang Yingyue, alongside her parents, met in the hotel foyer.

They went to get some food, after which they split up. Han Qingshan and Jiang Wei took the car, which was full of fishing gear, and drove towards a fishing spot, while Jiang Yingyue and Xun Huiyin took a taxi to a town that was close by, to go shopping at the markets and malls.

The town was the place where Xun Huiyin had studied in college when she was younger. She was very familiar with the place, and after returning to the countryside, she had been there plenty of times.

Jiang Yingyue, on the other hand, had last been there ten years ago before she took over Fengmian's life, but everything had changed since then.

The town had undergone a renovation project. All the old and dilapidated buildings had been replaced with young and tall buildings, making it so that the city could house even more people.

Jiang Yingyue and Xun Huiyin paid the taxi driver before they entered the town's biggest mall.

The town had three malls, but this was the one with most upscale shops and the best quality.

Jiang Yingyue had been working for Han Qingshan on and off for a long time and had accumulated quite some savings. Not to mention, Han Qingshan had gifted her a subsidiary card to his own card, she could buy pretty much anything she wanted.

Even Xun Huiyin, who had been poor for so long back in the capital, was quite wealthy now, as they had sold their home and managed to get quite some savings.

But although they had money, this did not mean that they would just buy everything they fell for. They understood that money was good to have, but it was not what brought happiness.

When Xun Huiyin and Jiang Yingyue walked side by side, they were filled with happiness, and they were strolling the shops, just spending their time together talking about things that mattered to them.

Suddenly, just as they were about to enter a shop, a voice reverberated from behind, "Well, if it isn't Xun Huiyin. When did you return from god knows where?"
