Chapter 138 - Let's Go Shopping!

Jiang Yingyue nodded her head, and Housekeeper Li left the room knowing that the young girl would be undressing, but it seemed that Jiang Yingyue still had not understood this part.

She stood stunned in the middle of the room, unsure of what she was supposed to do when Yan Meilin handed her the two dresses.

The dresses were magnificent. They were both qipao dresses, clearly inspired by the Chinese trend. They looked so small in Jiang Yingyue's hands, and she could not help but wonder if she would be capable of fitting them.

There was a screen-like room divider in the atelier, and Yan Meilin rushed her behind it.

"Here is a chair, put your clothes on there, and change into the dress, you can pick the one you like yourself first, and then we'll see how it suits you."

Jiang Yingyue was stumped for words, but as she was being ushered behind the screen, she noticed that no one could see her so she might as well change her clothes.

She took off the floral vintage dress she had been wearing and looked at the two qipaos in front of her, wondering which one she preferred.

One was red with golden embroideries of dragons. It was overbearing, extravagant, and overwhelming. The other was white with silver clouds embroidered on it. It was clean and fresh, elegant, and classy.

Both of them were beautiful but considering that it was a charity auction and that she was not the main lady of the party, Jiang Yingyue quickly picked the white qipao with the silver clouds.

As she wore it, she quickly found that it fitted her perfectly. It was as if it had been glued to her body; it fit so perfectly, like a second layer of skin.

It was comfortable to wear, and it displayed her curves. Her long attractive legs could be seen under the short skirt of the dress. As she left the cover of the room divider, Yan Meilin looked over, and she became stunned silly when she saw how gorgeous this young woman looked.

Her figure was attractive, like a succubus, her face innocent and beautiful like a fairy. The dress gave her an otherworldly feel. She seemed somewhat hard to approach, as if she were an immortal that had descended to the mundane world. She appeared utterly unspoiled by the dirty deeds of the world.

"Brilliant!" Yan Meilin was ecstatic when she saw how Jiang Yingyue looked. She was too attractive as a woman. To think this woman had to live as a man for so many years; it was indeed a loss!

"Okay, we will pick this dress." Yan Meilin did not even need her to try on the other dress as she had already decided. Instead, she ordered Jiang Yingyue to stand on the podium while she walked around her to ensure that the dress fit perfectly.

Although Jiang Yingyue had thought it was already a perfect fit, Yan Meilin was not satisfied, so the time afterward was spent on the podium where the older woman was circling her, putting pins in the dress and making the final changes.

"Okay, you can change your clothes back now." Yan Meilin was finally satisfied and nodded her head. "When it is time for the day of the auction, then make sure you come here. I will make sure to have jewelry, clothes, and shoes ready for you. I will style you and get your makeup ready."

Jiang Yingyue was slightly nervous; it would be her first appearance with Han Qingshan while looking like a woman. It would be weird if she was not worried.

Jiang Yingyue went to take the qipao off and put the other dress on again. She felt strange wearing dresses like this, but she also felt happy. Being feminine and dressing up was something she had not done for nine years, and now that she could do it, she would enjoy it to the fullest.

Jiang Yingyue returned to Yan Meilin's side while contemplating what to do now. Han Qingshan was at university and was likely to go to work afterward. She should go to work with him, but the office was far away from the residential area where the Han family mansion was located.
