"Okay, let's go have dinner," Mandy said with a smile.

"I know a very good western restaurant called 'I Just Met You.' Shall we go there?" Bruce suggested, smiling back. The last time he went to have dinner with Tony there, he happened to run into Nathan and Eve. It was really funny.

"Really? It's called 'I Just Met You.' What an interesting name," Mandy chuckled and tucked loose locks of her hair behind her ear.

When they arrived at the restaurant, it had just opened. Passing through the door, Mandy saw about forty waiters and waitresses standing in two rows. They were dressed in the same uniform. Their manager was up front, holding a staff meeting.

As soon as Bruce and Mandy entered the restaurant, a waitress came up to greet them. She clasped her hands, bowed slightly to Bruce and Mandy, and said with a smile, "Welcome. We have just opened. Will you please wait in the hall for a second?"

"Okay." Mandy nodded and looked at the manager in the distance.

The man was wearing a black suit, and his back was to Mandy. Because of the distance, Mandy could not hear what he was talking about, but she felt like the man was a little familiar, like he was an old friend.

Noticing that Mandy was lost in her thoughts, Bruce smiled and asked, "What's wrong? What are you looking at?"

"Nothing. I seem to see an acquaintance, but it shouldn't be him. I may be wrong." Mandy withdrew her sight and walked toward the sofa in the hall.

"Do you want to get closer and have a look? Maybe he's who you think he is," Bruce offered.

Mandy shook her head and smiled. "No, thanks. I'm good."

During her and Nathan's honeymoon in City B, she bumped into Daniel at a restaurant, which Daniel happened to own. Mandy had always thought that she would never see him again in her life. She did not expect to see him again at that time. The manager, ev

was in City B. However, Nathan was there, so Daniel did not have the chance to talk to Mandy in private. He missed the opportunity to ask her to forgive him.

Daniel stared at Bruce for three seconds. He had only heard of Bruce's name, but he did not know what Bruce looked like. Anyway, he did not care about him.

Men were jealous of other men who looked and presented themselves better than them. They would even mock them and call them sissies.

However, Bruce was not a sissy. He was dressed in an expensive black suit, and his leather shoes were polished to perfection. His hairstyle beautifully complemented his sharp facial features, and he gave off a noble temperament.

Bruce exuded a mature and steady disposition, and it made Daniel a little resentful. At the same time, he was bothered by the fact that Mandy was here with him instead of Nathan. It was strange to see Mandy chattering happily with another man.

Standing still, Mandy did not intend to move another muscle. Embarrassment was obvious on her face.

However, Daniel calmed down and walked toward Mandy with a smile. He chirped, "Long time, no see, old classmate."

Mandy swallowed her embarrassment and smiled generously, "It's indeed been a long time."
