Chapter 869 Skip Work

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
"Well, Bruce, are you getting off work so early?" Mandy asked in surprise. It was just three o'clock. Bruce shouldn't be off duty yet.

Bruce answered her with a warm smile, "I'm skipping work today."

His tone was light, but there was a sense of humor in it.

Mandy raised her eyes and looked at him again. She joked, "Sure, director Bruce. I see you've picked up bad habits."

Bruce smiled but didn't say anything. He turned around and walked forward. The well-tailored suit pants perfectly fitted his long legs. Just looking at his back as he walked, Mandy felt like he was a model.

At the time she met Bruce in No 1 High School of City A, he had a gentle spirit. Now that he worked in the Education Bureau, his temperament had become even more gentle and composed. By rights, such an excellent man shouldn't be single.

"May I ask you a question?" She walked quickly and caught up with him.

Squinting, Bruce smiled to himself and slowed down to wait for Mandy. He said in his calm tone, "Sure. Go ahead."

"Why are you still single?"

"Why can't I be single? Is it a crime to be single?" Bruce asked back. There was a hint of sarcasm in his tone.

"Yes, of course, there's no crime in being single. But it's abnormal for an exceptional man like you to be without a woman." Mandy tried to correct herself and smooth things over. She smiled nervously; her eyes fixed on the side of Bruce's face.

Mandy nodded sincerely. She rolled her beautiful eyes and affirmed, "Not only are you excellent, but you're also outstanding. You must have a lot of women chasing after you!"

Bruce neither shook his head nor nodded at that. He smiled wryly. "I don't want someone who is chasing after me. I prefer to have someone special."

But men only like one type of woman from beginning to end: beautiful women.

Now, there are one thousand ways to define beauty. Some men like to be with mature women; while some like to be with innocent ones, but then other men like adorable girls.

Mandy was a mix of the three qualities. All the men who had come into contact with her liked her from the beginning.

Looking down again, Tony found that Bruce's car had disappeared. He smiled faintly and sighed in his heart, 'Love is indeed a poison. It can make a man lose his sanity.'

It was the first time that Bruce was skipping work in the past three years. Although the rules weren't very strict, Bruce was a very self-disciplined person, and he was serious about his work.

Tony had no experience in love, but he knew intuitively that this woman must be someone Bruce loved.

"Shall we find a place to eat?" holding the steering wheel, Bruce asked sweetly as he looked straight ahead.

It was a little late for a cup of coffee, but still too early to have dinner. Mandy was a very conflicted person who didn't like to make decisions. But since Bruce proposed, she agreed.
