Chapter 868 Meet Mandy

"Are you really not busy? If so, we can meet. Let's choose a place, or I'll come to you," Mandy suggested.

"Are you at the hospital now?" Bruce took a look at the current time. The Education Bureau was located in the east of City A, and JR Hospital was located in the city center. It would take at least half an hour to travel between the two places. He could hold the meeting during that half an hour.

"Yes."

"Can you come to the Education Bureau to see me? I haven't gotten off work yet after all."

"Okay." Mandy nodded and smiled.

After hanging up the phone, Bruce immediately held the meeting. Although the documents were not fully prepared, he managed to end the meeting five minutes before Mandy arrived.

At the door of the meeting room, Tony, Bruce's assistant, finished sorting out the documents of the meeting.

"Because it's your job, and you have no choice." Bruce turned around and glanced at Tony flatly. Seeing his bitter face, Bruce found it very funny.

"I haven't seen my girlfriend in two weeks. If I don't take her out on a date today, she might run away with another man," Tony whined.

nervously. "No, sir. I'm already really busy with my work. But since you're going out on a date today, can you give me a day off, too? Like I said, I haven't seen my girlfriend in two weeks."

As he spoke, Tony stretched out his arm and was about to hang himself on Bruce's body to act cute.

Bruce got goose bumps all over his body. Pretending to be disgusted, he said, "Okay, okay, I'll let you rest for half a day. Get your hands off me. Do you want the others to think we're having an affair?"

Tony laughed heartily. "Why are you so concerned? They're all gone. We're the only ones here." Tony smiled widely like a boy who had just successfully pulled a prank on his elder sibling. It amused Bruce. He saw a sense of youth in his assistant, which was something that he had lost.

"Take the documents back to the office. I have to leave now." Bruce raised his wrist and looked at his watch. He guessed that Mandy would arrive soon. He had to get rid of Tony as soon as possible.

It was Mandy's first time at the Education Bureau.

According to the receptionist, Bruce's office was on the seventh floor.

Mandy went to the elevator to go up, but when the elevator doors opened, Bruce was already there. Chance put them together in the same space.
