Chapter 851 You Are Doubting My Fidelity To You

Name:Billionaire's Gift Author:Rabbit
Mandy leaned her head against the back of her seat. The sun shone through the window and illuminated her beautiful bare face. She looked pure and almost angelic.

The car met a red light. Nathan slowly stepped on the brake. To make Mandy more comfortable, he took off his coat and gently draped it over her while waiting for the red light.

Her lips were a light pink hue, which was the color of jelly. As he stared at her lips, it made him want to kiss her.

Nathan's Adam's apple bobbed up and down twice, and a desire for her suddenly surged through his body. He hadn't kissed Mandy passionately in a long time. Ever since Adrian had been hospitalized, they had no time for such thoughts. Mandy hadn't been going to work recently. Instead, she took good care of her son every day. She felt as if attending to Adrian was more tiresome than her actual work.

Night after night, Mandy struggled to sleep because of her back pains. Nathan often slept beside her and saw her tossing and turning with her brows furrowed.

Nathan was eager to do something to relieve her burdens, but he didn't know how to help. All he could do was offer his support silently. No matter what she wanted to do, she would have his full support.

When Mandy said that she was interested in taking part in the bacterial experiments, Nathan didn't try to persuade her otherwise and immediately agreed to her request. Adrian was the fruit of their love, and they all loved him deeply. Although, if Nathan were to be honest with himself, he loved Mandy more than his son. If Adrian lost his life, Nathan would surely be devastated, however, if Mandy were to lose her life, his world would fall apart.

Mandy slept lightly. Although she closed her eyes tightly, she had a vague awareness of what was going on around her. She felt a weight on her body and opened her eyes immediately.

tter with you? Why do you always accuse me of betraying you? Would you be happy if I cheated on you?"

After hearing his words, Mandy looked at him sharply and said, "How dare you?"

"If you say that one more time, maybe I'll do it next time." The expression on Nathan's face was suddenly gloomy. It flustered him when Mandy teased him like this.

"I..." Mandy started to explain but stopped herself. She suddenly knew she had said something wrong, and it made her feel guilty. She continued, "Nathan, I was only teasing. I never doubted your fidelity."

"Don't assume that I don't know what you're really thinking. You just hide your true thoughts behind your teasing. Don't be a fool," Nathan scoffed bitterly at her, and there was a faint sneer in his tone.

Mandy snorted. She didn't know why she had become so suspicious of him. She had felt a lack of security ever since Adrian had been hospitalized. Moreover, Nathan didn't spend much time with her recently, which meant that they had little time to communicate with one another. Whenever Nathan spoke of his love, his sweet words always moved her. Mandy felt that it was reasonable for her to doubt his fidelity. She was afraid that he used these sweet words on other women.
